We used to travel along the Cat and Fiddle at least once a month as we lived in Chester and our parents lived in Lincolnshire. Love that road but of course in the early 80s there wasn’t the traffic there is now! Great video again thanks Gail and Rob 👍🏼

Hi Rob, enjoy your videos. One question I have always wondered and I guess it depends upon the power consumption of appliances in useis should the hookup for the caravan ok to be left coiled up?
Good to know my videos are being enjoyed 👍. The advice is to uncoil the hook up cable to prevent heat build up but you’re right about the amount of current being drawn. Low consumption say a couple of amps isn’t going to cause a fire but it’s always best to be on the cautious side. I carry the 25m and a 10m cable. 95% of the time the 10m is long enough 😀. Good video Rob, drove past Lamb cottage last week when we were staying at Blakemere Touring Park nearby. Got home and looked at Lamb Cottage online but then discovered its adult only so not for us for the next few years. Looks lovely though.

This is a very good site. Been there several times. A pity that from 2925 they will have only seasonal pitches and won’t be taking any tourers.
