I did my kitchen floor about 4 years ago using the peel and stick tiles from Amazon too and my family who visited could not believe that I did it all by myself 🤗 well done for using the stencils for the toilet area I will be certainly using that tip for my bathroom. Thank you so much 1🤗
I love, love, love this!!!! I don't think it's "too busy" at all, it's so happy! I just got this exact tile for one of my bathrooms, and will probably end up getting more in other designs! Thanks!
Thank you, what a great video and I really appreciate your template tips and about using extra glue. I bought the same tiles for my tiny laundry room that has a trap door in the floor to a crawl space, so will be attempting that today. Much appreciate your explanations! Your kitchen and laundry/bath look amazing!
This the best video I've seen for the install of the peel and stick tile - you showed every single step, and this was so helpful! Thank you! You did a fantastic job 🥰
Excellent video! Comprehensive, realistic and with very helpful and doable tips and tricks. You make it seem possible! Thank you so much for this. You've absolutely inspired me to tackle my laundry room and guest bathroom. 💪
Thank you so much for this video! I was scared that I might make my bathroom even worse, but now I'm more confindent! It seems easy, I got some good tips from you and I think I can do it. Thanks!
I have the exact same brand of tiles that I'm about to lay in our half bathroom. I took up the old lino and was going to use that as a template for pipes and the toilet and then realised that the flooring underneath is warped from a leak also!! Fun!! Now I have to remove that glued down vinyl tile in order to lay my new ones. I didn't bank on that much work. Ah well. I love your way of using the paper as a stencil for the toilet. I had already seen on the reviews that people were mentioning the tiles lifting and having to get adhesive so I'm prepared for that. I'll have to get primer now though as I'll be laying them on concrete. I was wondering how yours are holding up. I noticed another comment from someone saying they did their 4 years ago so that gives me hope. You did a great job. Well done. Can't have been easy doing that large an area.
@bluecurlygirl How did your peel and stick tile come out on the concrete? What did you do to prepare the concrete? Did you use a primer before you put the tile down? What brand of primer did you use? Sorry for all the questions I am going to do my grandsons bedroom. Remove all of the carpet and put in peel and stick. My floors are concrete just was wondering how well they hold up and are they very cold to walk on. Thank you and God bless.
I love it! I don’t think that I would spend a dime doing any upgrading at all. It looks beautiful and save your money for your family and enjoyment! I used the same pattern in gray for a storage room I have, and I absolutely love it. I have about 10 boxes left over because I was going to do a few other projects, and changed my mind. So I think I’m going to use a section in my garage to spruce that area up.
Thank you so much for sharing, I was definitely hesitant on doing my bathroom especially around the toilet, but after seeing your video it helped me so much… thank you again! 😁
This is a great video. Informative, problem solving, inspiring and cheery! Im affixing similar design tiles in my kitchen, but not on the floor (although thats what i bought them for originally) I'm applying them to the plinths at the bottom of the floor cupboards. They've 'lifted' the room! I too experienced the tiles lifting even though I lightly sanded the plinths and prepared them. That's how I came across your video. Gorilla glue seems the way to go, although I have some 'No Nails' already in my DIY stash. I would never have thought of that. By the way. Your caulking round the edges is poetry in motion ..... zoom, and you've done it easy peasy .... i use masking tape when doing that job. Well done and thanks for the video!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Love it. Your design in your home is beautiful love the color of the kitchen cabinets, and the wicker look in the laundry and bath
Absolutely gorgeous kitchen! I just love these tiles. They don’t seem too busy to me. Just perfect. You did such a great job. I really appreciate the video too and the helpful tips. I have an 80s house with pink and blue bathrooms that will definitely be getting facelifts.
I just watched your video and I was amazed at how great the rooms turned out. This has given me an idea for my kitchen in the apartment I rent. I'm so happy I found your video. Thank you so much.
I find your video to be the Best! I love how you show how to go around the doors and toilets. I think I can do this now. Yours turned out so pretty and I want mine like that. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration 🥰💞👍🏻
I bought one box of this brand just to see the pattern and quality. I really like this pattern for the area I want to install it, but then the question was...will it be worth it? Your video has given me the confidence to go for it! Thank you for doing such a detailed video. Hope you are enjoying your new flooring. I happened to watch the review before this video. Cheers!
Thank you so much for the video! It was exactly what I needed to feel prepared to begin our kitchen. I will be going over tile with deep grout lines, so I am considering filling those first with a floor patch after priming the grout lines. Your method of creating templates was one I wouldn’t have thought of…
Did you end up filling the grout? I have these tiles and would rather not have to fill the grout. Just worried that eventually the pressure of walking on it will see the lines
@@tinaaschaber7602 Yes, I filled them with Henry 345 Premixed Floor Patch, sanded the rough spots, then used Henry 336 Self-Stick Tile Primer over that. If I got a do-over, I would also have used Gorilla glue around all the edges that are up a against a wall as some of the tiles “creep” over time, causing gaps.
Wow! You did a beautiful job! Your tips are so helpful too. This has given me the inspiration to purchase tiles for my kitchen floor :) Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for this video, I just ordered same tiles from wall Pops, all because I came across your video. Been looking for Black and white tiles for my kitchen. Thank you
Hi...thank you for the information. Really love your floor. Yet, the renovation of your kitchen (on another video) is gorgeous. I'm not brave enough to choose and refresh my space, but in time😂. I'll be watching...👋🏿
Thank you. We still have the stick and peel tile in our laundry and bathroom and love it. It’s a very good solution and my only regret was that I didn’t do it as soon as we moved in so I could enjoy it longer before the remodel.
Great job. I just found boxes of these for $6. I dont like this design for my bathroom, but I'm thinking I could take advantage of cheap peel and stick backing then paint or use rolls of vinyl. What do you think ? Is it worth the hassle? I feel like im saving, but it may be easier to save for more expensive tiles that are the color I want.
Wonderful video. Thank you for allowing us to benefit from your experience. I am encouraged to try this! Thank you. Now I just need to find shiny white and shiny black peel and stick so I can create my dream floor. Wish me luck.
Looks amazing you done a great job. Can’t believe how big of an area you had to do. I looked for tiles on amazon just last night and it was saying prices of $80 - $90 . Not sure why because these look the same.
I can do that! Wonderful job. Same here..not ready for complete kitchen makeover but dying to cover up 90s tile flooring in kitchen, laundry small bath and hallways.
Yes! once you get started, you realize that it's so simple, and when you finish you regret not doing it sooner. I love it so much and it has made a world of difference in my kitchen, laundry and half bath.
yes this helped out so much the Gorilla Glue I'm going to go get some cuz I bought cheap tile and it's not sticking so I'm going to try the gorilla Glue thank you and your kitchen is beautiful I did mine in gray and white and black so great job thank you so much.
This was such a great and helpful video. Thank you for breaking down the details of how you installed it. That inspired me so much, that as a complete novice, I now feel like I could do it myself! Where other videos just skim over the details, you provided needed factual information. I just liked and subscribed. I can't wait to see what else you have on your channel! I plan to do my small bath, laundry, and bedroom!
I love how the Floor Pops turned out in your rooms. I think they add just the right amount of contrast with the gray cabinets (which look really great, you did a wonderful job painting them) in your kitchen. I have the same pattern I purchased for my bathroom, I just started working on a refresh to cover over dark olive green tile with brown "swirls" in it. They were in the bathroom when I bought the house 7 years ago, I've lived with them long enough! I hope you found a rug you liked for your kitchen area. I'm watching this long after you finished your work in the rooms. My thought was a thin striped black and white area rug or runner that could read "gray" on the floor and tie in nicely with the kitchen cabinet color. I nixed my idea of solid black - too dark; and solid white, while I think it would look pretty against the black and white tiles, would require constant laundering in your busy household. I actually never thought about possibly gluing the Floor Pops to problem areas in the floor, which I assume will show up at some point in my bathroom. Good to know with the right kind of adhesive I would be able to do it, but I want to check around and see if there is an adhesive that one would be able to scrub off the tile floor underneath, rather than needing to tear out the old ceramic floor at some point if the adhesive (or the vinyl tile glued to it) didn't come off!
Hello dear, I am glad you enjoyed the video. The floor tiles are still going strong and I am so glad I took the plunge last summer, definitely better to look at then the old brown tiles. I actually ended up getting a jute style rug from ruggable which I feel goes well with the tiles and brings in some warmth into the room, plus it is washable which is a must in the kitchen. I hope your bathroom tiling job went smoothly. Thank you for watching.
Beautiful job! I wanted to do this in my bathroom but had thought they'd had to fit over each tile and my tiles are 13×13 and I could only find these in 12×12. I see yours are not square design over square tiles. Maybe I can make them work!
I just saw another day and there is a small oscillating saw that saws underneath those door jams that are so intricate. It allows for tile to just slip underneath.
Fantastic info! I’m about to lay down some Floor Pops in a small upstairs kitchenette, so this was helpful. Hot tip: If you dip your finger in soapy water, it’ll glide right over the calking and give you a nice smooth line. :)
We completely remodeled the kitchen now, but we still have the peel and stick tiles in the laundry and bathroom and they are holding up great! I highly recommend them.
I had the same problem but I found out that using the blow dryer helps to reactivate the glue. I even scraped the floor as I went along using krudkutter cleaner and I would do a few tiles at a time. I was going over linoleum/vinyl because it took me a few weeks my kitchen is large. Two faced tape by the flooring section if you have spots. stubborn
Wow you have done an absolutely fabulous outstanding job on your flooring! By far the best video I have seen thus far, and you have really great presentation and easy explanation as you go along.
