I went to the Anne Frank house back when I visited Europe and it was surreal. Seeing the actual house and I read Anne's dairy and it was surreal. She died with her sister Margot and I only wished Anne Frank was alive. Otto Frank and Meip Giles kept her legacy alive. RIP Anne Frank you were a brave girl. I loved Holland Amsterdam it was the coolest place in the world. I would love to live there forever.
It really grinds my ears but ana frank had to read vietnam war and sufer property without my time feel sorry for her this is why I love history media I pray for ana frank to be bless in heaven
Miep, not Meip. It was more Otto thank Miep. Miep had every intention of returning the diary, unread, to Anne when Anne came back. It was Otto who, after encouragement from friends and family, sought publication. Miep said that Otto had to really pester her to read the diary. She finally did, one day when she was completely alone. She said she laughed and cried from all the memories.
"She will write in the diary for the rest of her life." 4:35 Wow - I never thought of it like that. I'm currently reading her diary for the third time.
That is not correct. She is captured 4th of August of 1944, and die in the concentration camp in march of 1945. So many months of terror and suffering, including a cold winter, before she died are not included in the diary.
@johnsilverlargo March if 1945... So close to be rescued. Rommel's talents probably delayed liberation... Yes, he tried doing the right thing at the end. I don't consider anyone being a great general if means fortifying the Charles Manson of germany.

^ erm, no. By what I’ve seen/heard/read, there were *many* conversations about where the dentist would go. Even though she was a teenager, most of the adults still thought of her as a child.
I think Ann would have preferred a room with a table so she could write, maybe the other room would have no table, and like any teenage girl would like to have a room of her own
In that piece of warehouse, the hide out of little Anne and her friends, appear yet their spirits, who are trapped in the vortex of Time. And still run from the nazis, cause they think that it is 1944. What a Horror !! 😨 😨
The remarkable young girl in human history, I will never forget her. It's beyond imagination of most cruel Gestapo police at the time of her arrest, what jewels human world is going to loose.

First, of all that wasn’t her house. Second, she had a mouth on her “beggars can’t be choosers”. If I was housing her ass she would’ve been gone a looong time ago.
How can anyone believe the diary is accurate when it was in her families hands. They could of edits anytime and added to it which people believe it happened
They in fact did it. They removed some of the parts and even manipulated some. It's cos it she hadn't wrote it for publication purpose and it'd topics related to sex, menstruation, lovers (teenage lovers and a that). And that most important it's written in Dutch. So it's purely changed as not everything can be exactly translated

If they had been arrested 1-2 days later, they would have survived.
They were what turned out to be the very last train to Auschwitz.
After following her life I feel close to her; what a smart and lovely young lady. So sorry for misfortune.

I wonder why did she have to share a room with a man? Why wouldn't her father stay with him instead and keep his daughters with mom?
Maybe it was because Anne disliked her mother idk I’m not exactly sure why and we can’t know .
