Part 3 is called counting the cost. You will see a faceless man referred to as Adam.
Adam hails from the East African country of Somalia, where the predominant religion is Islam. He grew up as a radical Islamic and was sent to South Africa to become an Imam.
An *imam* is a Muslim religious leader who leads prayers in a mosque and provides spiritual guidance to the community. The term "imam" is derived from the Arabic word "Imam," which means "leader" or "guide." Imams are often responsible for leading congregational prayers, delivering sermons, and offering advice on religious and ethical matters.
Adam heard the voice of God and converted to Christianity. This almost cost him his life as punishment for converting from Islam to Christianity is death.
There are no legal protections for Christians in Somalia, and there are no church buildings apart from Mogadishu Cathedral, which is no longer used for Christian services. Somalia is ranked number three on Open Doors' 2022 World Watch List, an annual ranking of the 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
