I think the path to harmony is always going to be different for many people. Whether religious or not. I'm happy for James, and can admire his faith/conviction--and I think he's been a bigger part of a lot of nerds lives more than he might realize. I also think it's just a common thread for a lot of people, and maybe I'm also projecting; that life presents a choice of allowing the hardships to turn you sour or jaded--or you can push through, to give others love as well as kindness. Never accept the former, always try to choose the latter.
I would love to hear Obi-Wan talking about how the light side of the Force is actually the Holy Spirit. There are so many parallels between Jedi and Christians.

"Oh! I love God’s 'shalls' and 'wills.' There is nothing comparable to them. Let a man say 'shall,' what is it good for? 'I will,' says man, and he never performs; 'I shall,' says he, and he breaks his promise. But it is never so with God’s 'shalls.' If He says 'shall,' it shall be; when He says 'will,' it will be. Now He has said here, 'many shall come.' The devil says, 'they shall not come;' but 'they shall come.' You yourselves say, 'we won’t come;' God says, 'You shall come.' Yes! There are some here who are laughing at salvation, who can scoff at Christ, and mock at the gospel; but I tell you some of you shall come yet. 'What!' you say, 'can God make me become a Christian?' I tell you yes, for herein rests the power of the gospel. It does not ask your consent; but it gets it. It does not say, will you have it? But it makes you willing in the day of God’s power." ~ Spurgeon

My wife thinks it's all anxiety-indused, and I think she's right. But in any case, it has caused me to really freak out and think, 'God, right when I receive this big role, now i have this issue of all things??!' I've never had CBN videos show up in my UA-cam homepage and today it did, and with this particular video of all videos! I truly believe God used this man's story and CBN to tell me (and any others dealing with similar issues) that He isn't done with me and that I just need to trust in Him, and not my own voice - to trust in Him and to lean not on my own understanding! Thank you.

With every tough thing that has happened to me this year (2024), this was a message I badly needed to hear.
James is a GOATED voice actor
The voice of my childhood for Obi wan Kenobi
I LOVE this man - thanks for serving the kids of my generation!
Always love hearing celebrity stories and their walk with God! I’ve been following his work since Ratchet and Clank and TMNT - not realizing it’s the same guy
Rachel and clank???? No way!!! That’s so cool
FURRY.
As a believer and sometimes voice actor, I LOVE this video and I LOVE James Arnold Taylor. That guy rocks.

Obi wans a christian. That is. Awesome.
Wow. I am so glad to hear this. Also, yes, I would like to hear Obi Wan to say that he loves Jesus and that Jesus saved his life.

@@tristanpadilla1455 The Romans would disagree.
"I'll say it in whatever voice you'd like" what a concept and platform James has to share joy.
I would love to hear Obi-Wan talking about how the light side of the Force is actually the Holy Spirit. There are so many parallels between Jedi and Christians.
Such an inspiring story, about how much your faith can be a great motivator in life, & I love hearing positive talk from James Arnold Taylor himself. What an amazing legend, love him so much.
Isaiah 61:7 KJV
[7] For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Hallelujah!!!
I'm suprised, yet very happy to know the the voice behind Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Clone Wars was him! Clone Wars is my fave animated series. Love the fact that he voiced the very great Jedi of the Light whom had never falter to chose the good. ❤
I already loved JAT as Master Kenobi, now I can also love him as my brother in Christ✝

He has a gift.
Huh, he lost his voice before Clone wars. And he fought to restore his talent.
His results speak for themself: Hes iconic now, a real fighter for his carrer and his faith.
I grew up listening to James in all the stuff he’s in and hearing his testimony is moving
His story reminded me of something my youth pastor always says, “let go and let God.”
Not religious in any way (don't try to convert me. Many have tried. All have failed), but he's a big part of my childhood, and I'm glad that he recovered and found peace.
But it makes you willing in the day of God’s power."

Bless You James! I Love Jesus Too!! And It's Absolutely Wonderful to Hear what the Lord is Doing in Your Life! You Have a Wonderful Family, A Wonderful Voice, and a Wonderful Heart For God
Great message from James Arnold Taylor! Glad I decided to watch this!
Thanks for watching! We are glad you enjoyed the interview.
He’s always been one of my favorite voice actors. What a real guy. Obviously his work as Obi Wan Kenobi is iconic, but I first was introduced to him through his character Tidus from Final Fantasy X when I was 6 years old. I would watch my dad play Final Fantasy 12 and 13 when I was young, and when he finally beat those and wanted to play 10, he let me take the reins. It will always be my all time favorite video game for the story and the characters and the memories it gave me and my dad. As I grew older I learned more about JAT and now knowing this intense story of his and knowing that he has given his life and his confidence to the Lord is just the coolest thing ever. God bless us all ❤️

I am a fan of this man's work as Obi-Wan in Star Wars Clone Wars, and I'm also quite grateful he is one of the few celebrities who knows the RIGHT way - believe in Jesus.
Praise the Lord. Amen.
There is no RIGHT way to believe in anything. Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, atheists, everyone’s belief system is valid so long as they use it for the betterment of themselves and others, and not as an excuse to be jerks.
JAT is such an inspiration to me. The way that he uses his platform and success to talk about and proclaim God is a signal that even in situations where it seems like you might lose everything for your faith, you can still be faithful to your calling and to God’s mission for you.
I think this is why I like James’ version of Obi-Wan so much more than Ewan’s…he’s just got such a realness to him that so many people in Hollywood don’t have. There’s true heart, passion and faith in who he is on and off the screen. The movie industry needs more JATs!
I met him today at Comic Con in Little Rock. Really down to earth guy and very big part of my childhood. I am pleasantly surprised to hear how dedicated he is to his faith! As an Atheist and fan of James Arnold Taylor, I’m thankful he has something to believe in.
He doesn’t have “something” is believe in, he has SOMEONE. someone how died on the cross for his sins. Someone who paid the penalty of death for him. Someone who did the same thing for you so you don’t have to die and be separated forever from him. His name is Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life

I'm a singer and for the first time I was just offered a main role in a musical here in my city. My voice has always been strong and I've always taken good care of it, but a week ago I started feeling a tightness in my throat, inability to breath well, and my singing voice has really struggled as a result. Thank you.
I had no idea. This makes me so happy of course. Jesus is the only one that can give us true joy in our life and restore us when things are impossible. Glory to God!
