- I can consider myself satisfied. In less than a week from the release, I got my heroics run sub9. Could have shaved 20-30 seconds... but the RNG is just insane, good luck for my fellow speedrunners who are gonna try to attempt it!

Peppo, the legend himself, has done it again. Not only he beat a god himself like fatalis was a nobody, but achieved it while using the riskiest skill in the game in a flawless way. Congrats man, you have truly beaten the game

@Tabris Getting a good run is one thing. It is another to do it with 0 health. DB is way to close range for that. (Although I can’t fight fatalis yet so idk)

That just shows how much of a way I still have to go with the Longsword and where I messed up with the helmbreaker to get a clean hit on the head. An amazing run, stunning to watch. I was at the edge of my seat a number of times!

4:06 such spacing, and a break on it to boot. Also placing yourself on the upper side of the head to land those helmbreakers, thanks to you i learn more of these subtle things in hunts

You see, the way Peppo activates heroics with a small barrel.. it came to me as a picturesque of perfect homage to the past MH series TA intro against the iconic boss of the past; Fatalis. Nostalgic and beautiful run.

Your sitting in your castle fully aware you destroyed a nation to get it. Random dude pops up, with a wierd looking weapon. No biggie, you've laid waist to thousands of people sent to stop you. The first helmspliter (344, my god that should be on PH). Now you look closely at the weapon and armour. It is the scales and claws of one of your kin. After decades of strengthening yourself by smelting monsters and hunters alike onto yourself, one person approachs menacingly wearing you.
Bruh I can just imagine Peppo walking up to Fatalis with like the glowing red eyes with trails just like on Goblin Slayer

The biggest flex was; as the timer was counting down for the dragonator for use, my guy's timer was counting down to return from quest.
This is the most impressive thing ive ever seen even if i took 20 mins but heroics was on id be impressed but you beyond that and killed him in 8 damn mins wth you are insane
Fatalis is super fast and unforgiving. To actually take it down using heroics skill is unhuman. Great job Peppo!

Honestly tho, he probably took 50+ run just to get one success. I’ve never imagine no dmg taken(almost) is possible against fatalis.
If you could farm this fast, would the game even be fun though. I've been struggling to get one evil eye for two days now but once I have it, there's not much else I can do in iceborne

@@Idk.645 I think the thing I like about fatalis the most is that it's like a long-term quest to complete more than a hunt. You just have to keep at it until the end. Never give up and you will come out the other side better than you went in
Hi, In the older gens of MH, Heroics only activate at 10 or less health. Is that less than 10 cause I'm not familiar with the newer UI.

whats it like when you play monster hunter normally , i mean like when the game first comes out and you level up are you usually hitting all your counters and stuff or is it more after learning the monsters move set alot

If the sword didn't touch the monster then the body will be the hitbox, as you can see his body touch fatalis head
@@Gatitasecsii more often than not the LS will literally go right through the monster and the move just fucking whiffs. And since it's a delayed hitbox, I think Fatalis moved its head into the path just as the hitbox triggered. Mine just misses whenever I try aiming for the head while its standing up, so I'm calling speedrunner privilege.
Peppo what build do u use against fatalis? and how u make to much damage ? I’m a beginner in mh , can u make a tutorial for the long sword? I try to dodge the attacks but still get hit
for me this may be the most satisfying game play of 2020

Managed to cheat my way beating Ah Fat yesterday. Play with 3 friends and i got disconnected at last 10+% hp. I went back camp change palico set and cat did the meow meow. Yeah, i got 2pcs Ah Fat armor before beating it (Pluderblades FTW). Still no eye stolen yet.
Got to say that music was perfect for fatalis
