      Hi What about completed dentures? DO you recommend doing valplast for completed cases?

      Also what material do you normally used when glazing the valplast? I would like to add a little colour to it.

      @@ryanrust9142 Good afternoon! We never recommend Valplast for full arch cases, as it is a pressure injected thermoplastic, and will distort when spread that wide.

      Hello. It’s amazing how real the teeth look. I wish I had (extra) money to get this done it makes me feel so embarrassed.

      @@jasmineag7978 It's astounding how real we can make teeth look sometimes. In terms of having something like this done for you, we recommend reaching out to your dentist, or a dentist in your area, and seeing what options are available for you at whichever pricepoint is best.

      Currently we inject our thermoplastic resin into a closed flask. After the case is deflasked, it is finished and fit on the master model.

    Can you tell me about maintainance of partial valplast denture.i have flexible denture of two teeth.should I put it in water overnight or sleep with it at night

      Good morning Epshita, and thank you for your comment. Valplast's care instructions recommend rinsing your appliance under running water, as ordinary toothbrushes may scratch the surface of the appliance. You should soak the denture for 10-15 minutes every day in their Val-Clean Denture Cleanser, and keep it hydrated by storing it in Val-Clean solution when not wearing the appliance. Additional information on care for your Valplast partial can be found on their website, www.valplast.com/caring-for-your-valplast.
      Please don't hesitate to contact us with any additional questions!

    I just had an experience where the doctor tried to create a new partial. I have a flexigrip partial with the two front incisors and have had it for years. The two incisors on eithe side of them have shifted outward. So when she made the new impression, they created two huge front incisors that are too far out and made to fit the widened bucked out area. They looked horrible. She plans on shaving those two flared teeth down. Can't she just add two teeth to the existing partial?

    • @ROEDentalLaboratory
      @ROEDentalLaboratory  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for your comment. In some situations, your doctor may be able to add these additional teeth to your existing partial. However, it is ultimetly up to the dentist wether or not it is feasible to do so. The factors surrounding this decision are the material the partial is made of, the position of the additional teeth relative to the current partial, and the condition of the remaining teeth. In the case of a Valplast denture, the process is straightforward, and we even have a video covering that topic HERE -> ua-cam.com/video/i5-H3pNBn1U/v-deo.html
      We hope this helped you understand a little more about why your dentist may have chosen this route, and for any additional questions, we highly recommend reaching out to the dentist and working with them to come to a better understanding!

    Do you need crowns (male attachment) with the Valplast partials (female attachment) to snap them into place?

    • @ROEDentalLaboratory
      @ROEDentalLaboratory  Рік тому +2

      Good afternoon Dave, and thank you for your comment. Valplast partial dentures do not have any form of clasp that keeps them seated in the mouth, rather they are fitted to the patient's existing dentition and held in place with little projections made from the same nylon resin material. Additional information on Valplast can be found on their website: www.valplast.com/clinical-techniques

      Hello. A quick online search suggests that Valplast is sold in India (see this link to a dental clinic in New Delhi talking about Valplast - www.newdelhidentistindia.com/flexible-partials.php). To make certain you have access to Valplast dentures you will need to have a conversation with your dentist to see if this is something they prescribe

    Mandibular tori can it fit?

    • @ROEDentalLaboratory
      @ROEDentalLaboratory  3 роки тому

      It would depend on the severity and position of the mandibular tori. Valplast would provide more options in terms of design and configuration that could make it a more viable solution. Your dentist would be the best one to consult on this

    My valplast is hard as a rock!!! I was scammed for $3000 I hate dentists right now And they hurt my gums so bad I can't even wear the tops only the bottom. I waited 10 months for this bs grrrr!

      @ROEDentalLaboratory  Рік тому +1

      Good afternoon. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing pain with your Valplast partial. We recommend reaching back out to your dental professional who perscribed and captured the records for your partial, and working with them to see if perhaps the records need to be updated and the partial refabricated. This will be the best way to ensure a proper fitting partial.

    Just get an implant in the front if you can afford it and can stand the waiting procedure.

      That is the better long-term solution but for too many patients it can be too expensive. It really comes down to financial viability.
