The 450hp raptor engine only comes in the Raptor, F-150 Limited, and the Lincoln Navigator. The Expedition engines are the same just have a different tune. Thanks for the video. Been thinking about doing it to my 19.
@@L8R-HP No, it doesn’t. Joseph has it correct. The Expeditions, no matter which trim level, all have the same engine just a different tune on the Platinum. Great video, though! I’m looking at replacing the intercooler on my Platinum Max and this was super helpful.

The factory does suggest 91+ fuel but it has been said by Ford that high detergent content fuel is also acceptable as long as it is over 87 octane fuel.
Couple reasons. We are a whipple dealer in NC. Whipple tunes are street legal and EPA certified. Whipple tunes are safe. And this unit here has around 500hp.
Another question? How is your rubber grommet holding up for the air temp sensor. I found that the most difficult to install and it recently just ripped and came apart on me. I contacted Whipple and they are sending me another one. Is there a trick to making sure it sits right?
I'm having trouble requesting the tune. Can't find any support. I've downloaded multiple programs and software, created accounts and hooked the tuning device up, paired it and I've spent hours reading and trying to figure out how to request the tune with no success.

@@L8R-HP I tried again this morning. Tdn sync complete. Rtd sync incoplete or failed. Looks like I have a tune saved not sure if it is automatically sent. Mine is a Bluetooth enabled device
@@L8R-HP it is a whipple device but also tdn and hp tuners. Has several names on it. Purchased through tps motorsports. Came as a kit from whipple with tune device.
Why would you pay $200 for the entire intercooler pipe that comes with a silicon coupler rather than buy a mishimoto silicon coupler for $15? I understand ford doesn’t sell it by itself, but a mishimoto silicon coupler would be an upgrade over fords thin coupler. You could’ve saved a few $$$ but I am not the one to tell you how to spend your money.
Oil catch cans would be a great next upgrade... I have loved mine

The expedition stealth addition also has the raptor engine.

Any turbo engine wants 91+. Especially if tuned

Not hard at all. You just plug the whipple tool in that’s provided and follow instructions. Email it and you will have a tune back with in 24hrs.

What tool did you use to gap the spark plugs. Just purchased the same kit and didn’t have any idea about the spark plugs.

Mine is still good after a year. I did spray it with silicone lubricant spray when I installed it.

All you have to do is save your file with whipple tool and email it to the email provided In instructions. They will send you a tune back 24-48 hours

This rebuild was over 4 years ago and it was impossible to get anything anywhere thanks to Covid
