I'm getting a van soon & have trawled through so many setups online, none of them have looked right for me. Finally I've come across yours & it's very much on the lines I'm looking for. I will be taking inspiration, thanks for sharing!
I've been a gardener for about 7 years now and always trying to make the van more efficient! This was incredibly helpful as I use a lot of the same Stihl and Wolf Garten equipment so I'll be putting a few of these tips to use in the new van😎 Love the waste removal space. Cheers
Very well thought out Jason. A clean and tidy van is a must for efficient work. The box is a great idea , I'm going to use it for my similar size Citroen van. Keep the videos coming 👍
When I saw the box I thought you were making a false floor to hide ladders out of the way, saving time fiddling with roof racks. Loving the smaller bags. I use ton bags because that’s what my building materials come in but the 600s are definitely a good idea.
Interesting set up. In the past I've had small vans and struggled with space. I've had Vauxhall combie and dispatch l1h1. Now got a l2h2 Citroën relay. So much better. More space. Now have 3 long shelfs on the right side and can easily get all my tools in. Lawn mower goes in on the side door and sits underneath the rack. My 10 foot henchmen ladders are kept above my rack suspended inside on the roof. That leaves space for one ton garden waste bags. I can get at least 10 bags. I don't have a need for a trailer. The best set up I've ever had. 👍
@Andrew Steer is definitely worth getting; fuel consumption isn't great. A full tank of fuel costs £110 and I get around 450 miles. Having the space is great; it feels more organised
All is well thought! I used to be a trainee in a landsaping business in France and I hated the mess in the van and the fact that nobody else cared about it except me !
Hi Jason. Well thought out design. I set my van up in a similar way but i really like the innovative moveable box. I think i might pinch that idea. Thanks for doing the vids.
Ah, brilliant arrangement! A place for everything and everything in its place makes for a good days work. Great vid, I reallyenjoyed it. Happy to see what you're up to, Jason. Happy. New Year's!
Hi Jason hope you have had a great Christmas 👍very interesting I’m going to change the inside of mine before I start again it’s hard to get how I want but you have given me some ideas. You have changed yours that wasn’t like that on your van tour I have seen did you change that last season. Hope you are well I bet you are still busye. 🎅👍
Thanks mate, this is same layout, since I bought the van and fitted it out in summer 2020, your probably thinking of my previous van. Happy New year mate 👍🍻
I think the connect is just the right size for a gardener, I only got rid of mine because I got broke into so many times, hope you have dead locks. having a tidy van, IMHO shows the kind of person you are and the kind of workmanship you will do, I hate having to unload stuff to get to one tool, Having everything organized so well, means, for me anyway, I know if something is missing IE left behind. the one thing I really miss about the connect is the single side door, meaning you can utilise the right hand side a lot better.
Yeah, the connect is a nice size van, plus economical, which is getting more and more important, as fuel is going up, it different help being tidy with tools etc and can reflect in our work. Cheers mate and happy new year 👍🍻
Really like your van set up, I’ve got a transit custom and I’m always looking for better ways to stay efficient! The moveable box is genius, happy new year Jason, keep well👍🏻
Nice and simple no efficient, one question if i May please and to my one else reading this… do you do waster transfer notes for getting rid of the hedge clippings and what type of facility would you use to get rid of the waste, cheers Jason 👍
Thanks mate, yes, I have to do a waste transfer note and all goes to local green commercial waste site, its minimum charge of £30 up to a ton. Happy New year 👍🍻

Excellent, Jason. Just the sort of thing I like. I try to organise my shed a bit like this. I'm sure it's been asked a million times but how do you dispose of the waste you take away?

Bit more organised than my van! In fairness, I probably take too many tools but I like to be prepared for anything. As you probably know, you can be asked to do all manner of things!

Looks spot on Thanks for sharing. I’m not long started and just got my first big van (used to have a berlingo). Is that a ramp you made for taking the mower ou on the leftt? I was looking up online to get a metal one but they’re pricey for what they are. Although running the risk of doing my back in it might be worth it.
Cheers mate. If your only using walk behind mowers, I personally think make a simple wooden ramp, metal or good, but iv found them horrible to use 10x a day. 👍😀
