My brand new 2TB transcend hard disk makes a really small noise when shaken. Is it a problem?
1st of all tighten all the screw properly and take care that HDD should not be shaken. If Noise occurs then you said its brand new then goto Transcend Service center with the original invoice and it can be replaced.

Of course you can use it on your PS4.

Hello, I found this thread on reddit about Transcend StoreJet 25M3. He says the metal plating inside the 25M3 starts to corrode after 4 years and it might cause the HDD to short and die suddenly, is it true?
Absolutely No. my opinion is If you handle and use your drive carefully you can use your HDD as long as you want.

Sure Ali.. you could use in laptop also as internal drive.
After 3 years of usage as backup of my files and of course it's out of warranty now, my 1TB transcend HDD is full of bad sectors, formatting is really difficult. Never buy transcend product they are not that good in terms of quality.
what brand did you recommend then? cs i need to buy hdd
