    Yoko introduces simple way to make excellent quality of printmaking using Styrofoam.
    Printmaking is the first technique of Art history. Paste charcoal or ink onto the object and transfer to the paper or fabric. Started from Ancient era. Egypt and China made books for recording their daily life using printmaking technique. Carved letter or hieroglyphs onto walls and rocks. New era, we have lithograph and Silkscreen prints...And Styrofoam prints.
    Yoko says express yourself using variety of materials surrounded by your daily life. Yoko shows Styrofoam from Super market, or grocery stores, Yoko said" It is Okay" to use , but for this class she use thicker Styrofoam for strong impression professional results.
    Oil base print making ink because oil based ink stay wet longer than water based ink.
    Also she introduced new tool. Handy dandy electrical Styrofoam cutter, which is easy and fun to use in order to make art. If you do not have it, use Xacto knife to trace lines.

    never did this.... I did printmaking on zinc plates for years , now I just Draw with a pen. I need t get me a press again :) Easy to do and looks fun to teach kids !
