Axe men would have made an entire episode of the spring board tree, and we got bonus footage. Thanks for doing what you do Wade. You see the spring board in competition but hardly ever in real world situations. Good job sir and thanks for commentating Stevie. 👍
OUT OF EVERY VIDJA OF YOURS, THIS IS THE FIRST ONE TO WHERE IT HAD MY SPHINCTER MUSCLE TIGHTER THEN HELL! AND I'M 250 MILES AWAY SITTIN ON THE DAMN COUCH. YOUR A HELL OF A MAN LW .STAY SAFE!
Reminds me of your older videos when you and Stevie were hand cutting hard, trying to out do each other, comparing stumps, giving stihl a hard time etc, great job, nice to see you and Stevie together
That was awesome man I love seeing people get pumped when trees do what you need them to. You are the man I feel like you could have got that with a triple hinge and a wedge or two haha you are a really good timber faller you have taught me a lot over the last couple of years man god bless you and you’re family stay safe logger wade
Using spring boards that is really old school logging much respect Wade. Even though I have never used them they are proven tech no fancy do dads just old fashioned tools for a very old method just think you could be using the double bit axe and the misery whip (1 or 2 man saw). I always hated cutting big trees on the side of a steep ridge. to many variables that can go wrong will go wrong Mr. Murphy's favorite place for loggers steep ground. Love the vidja and keep the good work of showing logging in an honest way.
That, was great! I'd love to see, how you wrangled the tree out of the abyss. Also appreciate the view of the cut stump; I can see exactly what happened - and that helps me learn to fell trees.
The 3rd time I broke my right collar bone...I shot up a washed out hill just like the first tree on a quad. I was committed before noticing it hooked backward at the top. I actually made it by the grace of God up onto the flat top. I was celebrating my achievement and 20 foot of bank I was sitting on avalanches with me on it!😕 Awesome video today! Just glad everyone made it home safely!👍 Have a Happy Easter, Wade n Crew!
Excellent videography. Edge of the seat WINNER for 2020. Felt like I was gonna pitch over the bank with the closeup spring board shots....and then you hooked the cutter behind the tree....INTENSE!
thank for the vid,s and all the info. i have had two big trees cut the last two days and i used the info you have sheared and all the right ways of cutting safely THANKS so much FOR SHEARING
sheesh my bee-hole was puckering for you! great work tater; *GREAT* *WORK* composure's key to success and a proper-plan both of which you seem'd to have kept in the buncher with during that process... forget the hecklers, you did a phenomenal job, this is what *WE* do as timber cutters, always working in, around, or with a certain level of discomfort; embrace the suck & discomfort it's the only way you'll ever have a chance of feeling at home and staying alive in the woods - proud of you brother..
That was a good one O son best thing is it’s not in the creek and you didn’t go over all is safe and just a little clean up not a bad day at all stay strong 💪 stay safe and keep looking up
DAMN Tater...It's been years since I've seen anyone use a springboard. Great job buddy. 👍👍👍 That was a pucker moment but the tree is down & nobody got hurt.
Hey wade new subscriber here. I love the vidjas. Its content that just makes ya feel good lol. I even ordered me a shirt from ya on tha store. Cant wait. Keep up the good work man. I enjoy it. Thanks 🤙🏼😁
I have a bunch of huge white oak . It is about a 50 ft straight drop off. No way to get at them. With the help of my 1990 F350 4x4 and 300 ft of cable we're getting her done. Sure is a blast to see them coming popping up onto the roadway.
#epicfell 😁😁😁 Not quite where you wanted it, but better than in the bottom of the ravine!!! Canny backdraught off the top too 😉 And you and Brutus live to slice and dice for another day !!!
Tater I think it went pretty damn good providing the tree was hollow because that’s some dangerous mess you doing right now but anyway brother you and your family stay safe and y’all have a happy Easter and a blessed weekend man
06:05 / 37:44 was i the only one curling my toes tensing up leaning to the left a wee bit ha ha ha Also not a super logger here cattle and saddle yes lumber No, why does the time of season matter? From June to November is it like water weight in the tree or what?
@@LoggerWade Lol feel bad for butus. He was pulling all might on that tree. I see Wade like don't get into situation. Trees hanging close too down. But got job done.
I was a cutting around a cemetery yesterday and it had my heart a pounding more than cutting around power lines ....if I dicked up was worried I wouldn't sleep at night anymore..
That was some damn good tree felling even if it didn't go where you wanted. Not much you can do when there doty and break off the stump. Now getting it up out of there we all want to see that too.
Just along as everyone is safe and no one got hurt it doesn’t matter what those keyboard cowboys have to say. But on a another note you bouncing on those springboard all I could think of is. Now preforming the triple lindy Thornton Mellon aka Tater!! Lol
When you said it could be hollow, I thought, OH CRAP. Then I'm looking to see which way the wind is blowin, cause that can be a big help or a big hindrance, depending which way you want it to go.
