on the other hand this is excellent news for NASCAR because if SVG and Brodie race full time here, that is potentially an ENTIRE CONTINENT OR TWO worth of fans and other drivers who are frustrated with the racing over there. This could be a potential goldmine for our sport.

Exactly - there seem to be some drivers who have tanties and will stick another driver into the wall without giving a thought to the fact that there's a big chance of taking out a bunch of following drivers.
TBH, I'm honestly surprised there isn't more cold-blooded "payback" by some of those guys on the main culprits.

He just has a genuine spark of pure joy when hes out their racing I've followed him forever being a kiwi myself . I remember when Scott McLaughlin had a massive crash in a Supercars race they where big rivals and it looked super nasty and SVG just pulled his car up behind and leaped out climbed up the side of the car to the window in the blink of an eye to get Scottie out before the rescue guys where there. I was especially happy to hear that he had spoken with Marcus Ambrose (who is still on my list of favorite NASCAR drivers), and that SVG was willing to listen and take in guidance. Someone with mad talent, a willingness to listen to various people’s guidance, and humbleness throughout the learning process of each race vehicle, will go far. Reminds me of Scott Dixon in Indycar, SVG is welcome to bring his own personality and add something new to North American racing. The mind races at the potential of SVG when you hear the grounded mentality he has for the sport. He understands he has no experience on ovals, and really makes it sound like he is more interested in the joy of racing over the accolades or money. That part where he sounds open to trucks/xfinity races to get experience totally makes sense (he would be perfect for the Kaulig 10 in my mind, with AJ also providing experience in a similar trek), except that when you are a race winner at cup, the idea of spending even 1 year at a lower division, nevertheless the 2-3 years he probably needs, would make that time a hard sell. Hopefully he is able to maximize the opportunity.

Both Team Chevy, it kinda makes sense? he runs a full schedule in the #8 and maybe 6-8 races in Cup? and then goes full-time in another year? I feel like Justin Marks still wants to keep the "Project 91" as-is so it could be a potential international showcase for other big names vs giving it full-time to SVG right away - although the willingness of teams like RCR and 23X11 adding a third seat for guys like Kamui and Brodie means everyone see's Project 91's success and wants to copy it. Sounds like a class act. Just him being aware that these guys are running for a championship and not getting in the way shows how much class he has. Good luck! I hope he does ok. And does he bring Red Bull with him? Hmmm?

dude, a Red Bull NASCAR team would be like injecting steroids into the Cup series. that would 100% signify that NASCAR has gone international. i wonder if there's plans for that... 🤔

SVG will learn and adapt faster than y'all realise. He is like a sponge that will soak it up and get the just rewards for all his hard work & effort. Glad America will get to see another Kiwi doing what they love to do " Putting it all out there and let their driving attributes do the talking" Have a great time Stateside Shane, look forward to watching your progress bro. But a stock car nascar… We need a new chassis that’s adaptable for everything! As a 80s baby long live jr and dale but I think it’s time again! Our builders and racer vs the world
