Due to the pandemic, my father - who works in the big city - has been unable to return to our hometown. Last time I saw him was last year. He was so excited during our call in March; he thought he'd be able to go home by the end of the month. This song reminds me of how much I miss him it hurts.
Unimportant update no one asks for: he is finally coming home next week. Thanks, the Divine Comedy, for this beautiful song that kept me company when Dad wasn't here yet. ❤️

boopsbucket my uncle lived in Sweden years ago and then moved to the states/U.S and for some years ago the divine comedy came to Stockholm the capital city of Sweden but he lived in Chicago by then so he couldn’t go But I went and it was Amazing but find it sad and strange that they are not known at all in the states.
If God exists and hes sat up there, I hope in all hope this is what is on his stereo! Divine Comedy and that Neil deserves his place at the pearly gates that is for sure! this is just beyond brilliant. One huge fat like from me :D
