All of us have our own stories to tell in life. Of how we reached where we are right now. From a beggar on the street to the richest man, we all have our struggles and demons that we have fought to be where we are!
In this video, I narrate the initial part of my struggles. How I went about from a little kid preparing for IIT to the doorsteps of aviation!
Meant as an experience sharing as well as a learn from my mistakes kind of video, I expect a lot of you guys to learn and not make the same mistakes as I did!
If you want something in life, speak up for it!
Don't keep that voice inside and stifle it. Speak out, talk and stand up to the consequences of your decisions and actions!
And it is not just about being a pilot. You could be faced with any situation, any problem in life. It is always a great idea to speak your mind rather Tham being struck and dragging yourself along with the problem!

Sir I have told my parents that I have a dream in flying but I have just finished my 10th grade. Then I showed them the video how to become a pilot in India from your channel. Then they have understood my dream and said OK for it after hearing about finance which is needed for my dream. Now I have just 2 years ahead of me from getting into aviation circle.

sir you're really an inspiration for me , i am in the exact same situation like how you were in ( i am a dropper as well preparing forJEE in parental pressure while i always wanted to pursue aviation as a career). Everyday studying for JEE feels like getting closer to shatter my dreams.

I got good marks in 10th board,
Decided for IIT,
Started but lost interest,
But it is too late,
So will have to finish this anyway.

Woahh!! I can totally relate!! I was preparing for JEE too... 2 yrs did that, actually I never wanted to become Engineer... but tak kya sare 12th tak baad sab JEE ya NEET ki preparation krte h... I was not sure what i want to become... and Pilot was my childhood dream, but because many years passed, and I didn't know or never heard of pilot, how to become pilot, as i used to live in small city, everyone was running ... meine bhi same kia... papa said, abtak fix nhi h to thik h, but JEE saath saath krti h, kya pata baad me man ho jaye... but when u start preparing for JEE, that surrounding n all makes u different... i totally forgot what i truly want... And 10th tak CBSE me thi, 11th, 12th Cambridge... Teachers said focus on JEE more... we did that.. we were only studying for JEE... same happened... didn't scored well in 12th, meaning below 75, and JEE me 74 percentile cutoff tha, and i got 72 percentile... I thought of taking drop year... so that I'll attempt 12th boards again, will get above 75, will study for JEE again... to get IIT
But in this gap year I realized I'm not happy, and I changed my decision, I searched on google n all, saw flying academies... btw still that drop year is gng on... I did 12th in 2019... I told my parents, and they totally supported me... They were proud and happy that I took this decision .. coz in my whole family n caste, not many girls aim to become Pilot.. I'm currently taking ground classes... So, could relate your story with me... 🙂 I'LL FLY HIGH✈😍

I also have similar cond. i spoke up in mid of 11th and now i will go to 12th this year.hame bhi pilot bana hai, aur abhi hamara cpl ka (engines aur landing gear) ja approx 40% preperations ho gaya hai from online pages .. And etc. After 12th i will take 1 year drop, and will prepare completely for CPL and will try to earn some money for CPL,,
And will finally complete pilot traning ,, and then...✈️✈️✈️🥺🥺...

Hi, your lifestory is almost similar to mine, I got passionate about flying in my 3rd year of engineering!!. Now I am working in IT company and saving money to become a pilot.
Well u have to save a hell lot of money. Almost all flying schools are charging around 1 crore. Unless if you have caste reservation.
@@dranzergigs8333 Hi Sharath, I am not planning for cadet pilot programmes. I will rather go to the flying school, it takes half a fees than that of cadet pilot programmes.

@@dranzergigs8333 well, I do not know the specific..as I have not put my leg into this field yet....I am very much passionate to get the knowledge about the course, its process, training etc. It would be very helpful if you guide.
@@navneetsinha451 heres what I know. The thing is that being a pilot is not as awesome as it used to be. You have to spend like crazy and even after that there is no guarantee you will get the job. The cadet programs are considered the best bcoz you will get the job in the same airline which is training you. Like indigo and Emirates. I went to one flying school in Pune where people were waiting for years to get the required amount of flight experience. The amount you get during training is not enough to convince any airline to hire you. This was confirmed by captain Joe(another UA-camr). They say the amount of pilots that are waiting far outweighs the amount of planes that exist in India.
They also say the jet lag and repeatedly eating from outside might take a toll on your health and social life.
When I talked to u I thought there is something you know but I don't. But now you are asking me for guidance 🤣
Bro this is my story- so during my 2-3rd year in graduation i decided to become pillot coz from my inside it urged me to do so. So i started speaking up with many of the flyings schools, cpl students & also consulted 2 captions which happen to be my friend. So upon his suggestion i took the CPL classes & went there for about a month. I fully made my mind that i’ve to & can do this. Also, i got my medicals class 2 done. And i was in process of getting my computer number to appear for the exams but than something unexpected happened. And that was i was short in height approx 5’ tall. The authorized DGCA who did my medicals told that my height is too short for being a pilot & this took a troll on my dream of becoming a pilot. I consulted so many peoples regarding this issue to clarify if this was actually an area of concern and as per the feedback received yes it was a major area of concern as normally pilots need to be tall enough to get selected by airlines. So in the end i had to ditch my pilot dream for all this issues. Now i have done my graduation and yet haven’t decided what i’m gonna do as all what i can think of till now is to become a pilot.
