This is a lovely little FPV monitor from Eachine. All in all it's pretty great really, but there are a few caveats, so give the video a watch and let me know what you think.

In my case the right DVR channel is of very bad quality. Only the left channel provide a good signal.
Could someone do a test by removing / swapping antennas and see if they observe a difference, to tell me if my unit is defective ? Thanks.

Big monitor but with a serious problem, can't record from direct av-in video input. I don't understand why Eachine has not implemented this option.
Oh really? Thanks for that bit of info, I'm sure it will be useful to someone. I agree it seems odd, it feels like it would just be a software change. I never use it with AV-in though. Do you use that for long range or other frequency receivers?
What is the pin map of the AV socket ?
how about flying for somewhere like work when you just cant wear goggles and you need to be aware of your surroundings could this work pretty good for flying for 5-10 minutes?
Sure, that seems like a solid use case. I might experiment with using one higher gain directional antenna if I was using it as my main flying screen.
Hi just found your channel, great little review, does this receiver have audio? Is there a built in speaker or headphone jack? And does it record audio, many thanks in advance Alan
Hi Alan, thanks. I don't have any VTXs with microphones, but according to this page there is a microphone output on the AV jack: manuals.plus/eachine/eachine-moneagle-manual
@@JasonSuterOssum Hi Jason thanks for the quick reply, I checked that link you sent, in the specs it clearly states "high fidelity stereo speakers" so that's good just hope that audio is recorded on the DVR, I see no reason why not, many thanks
@@alanburgess2203 interesting. I'm kind of curious about the design intent behind the speakers, I guess it's to use the screen as a monitor+speaker via the av input.

If you have this, do you need a goggles?
You don't need goggles, you can fly with this, but I don't think the experience is as much fun.
