#Battlefield1 #Passchendaele #Cinematic - Ігри
The main source of inspiration for Passchendaele comes from my all time favorite movie scene, the final battle in Passchendaele (2008). The purpose of this cinematic was to portray the chaotic devastation of Passchendaele. In this cinematic you get to follow both sides of the war, the Canadians and the German Empire.
Passchendaele was originally published as a No HUD video in 2020 as a combination of both gameplay and a cinematic. So I decided to make this one a stand-alone without the gameplay. It took almost 3 months to complete starting in the middle of May 2020 up until the end of July 31st 2020, the day the Battle of Passchendaele began. It was by far my most elaborative and favorite cinematic. It went through loads of, reshoots and edits until I was appeased with the final version. While making cinematics is mostly a one man job none of this would have been possible without the help from the amazing Battlefield community and a load of a very great acting crew (friends), who also helped out filming in daily recording sessions. Thank you all very much! :D
@@AutumnBun321 a majority of people are not aware that this cinematic was in the No HUD video and this is just a standalone cinematic without the No HUD gameplay clips. The purpose of making this video alone is to show the cinematic and not both. I probably won’t be back making Battlefield 1 cinematics until this fall. The main reason is because the community servers are free and the uniforms are customizable as well.
So thank you for clarifying this, and that is your answer.
@@Astronomical_Cinematics Sorry, when I read the full comment what you said didn't quite click in my mind when I read it, probably because I'm tired.
I am living in belguim and every time i go to the ww1 fight area in you swest Flanders you see so much remains and especially when you go to the countryside
Shoutout to the homies who set themselves on fire after every failed take of that last marching scene ✊
That was absolute devastation when they started stabbing each other.
The guy getting his hand stabbed by a bayonet looked very painful! This short film was a great way to honor those that gave their lives in Passchendaele Qwark007, well done 🍻💯🤘🏻
But jokes aside this would be a great video to show to your class for history
that scene where it was only hand to hand combat was brutal, and even for a video game shows just how hell war is.
That intro is fucking amazing
This entire video is amazing
The content, short films and “No HUD” videos you make are amazing! You also inspired me to work on a project of making a WW2 short film about the 1944 German defense of Minsk in Roblox. Thanks for inspiring me!
You’re welcome 😊
You know, Qwark is one of less then a few people who make movies of games, rather if it's short or long. Channels such as "Rec", which I watched a lot of videos as a kid from him until he didn't make videos. Thanks Qwark.
never thought id make a revisit to this video
Look at that sexy machine gunner in da bunker
Edit: it was fun being the machine gunner
As a Canadian I love this
Great video!
I see many refferences to the passchendaele animation that sabaton used for "The Price of a Mile"
The Animation is from a Movie
K
During the melee fight it was actually touching to see them trying to survive
I wish I had extra time to participate more in this. This video is just perfect in every perspective! Amazing job, Qwark!
Hey Qwark!Your job at this video and the other cinematics and HUDs are amazing!I recommend you if you want the Battlefield 1918 and Historical Faithfull Uniforms 2 for your videos. They add more authentic and historical accurate uniforms in the game.Cheers mate!
This is so awesome! Bro I love bf1 and war history and this is an another level of cinematic in video games!
Well done once again, everything in this video is amazing the voice acting, the direction, music and the sound effects. It all comes together to show the horrors of war.
This was amazing I hope to see more cinematics like this this was badass and brutal keep up the good work I love battlefield 1! :)
This is amazing! I want to see more like this, keep up the amazing work! good to see WW1 being remembered. Lest We Forget..
God damn brilliant! I wish I could be In more of these cinematics but school and stuff getting in the way. So hopefully whenever you next make a cinematic I can join in.
Our crew is full right now. We’ll probably get more this summer and hopefully you’ll be with us soon 😉
@@Astronomical_Cinematics I think I'm already in the crew I was part of the Wake Island Cinematic. My gamertag is lewingtonboys4
@@ryan_lew9796 Nope, you're not. We have re-established a new community, War History Productions, not World War Features
@@Astronomical_Cinematics Oh crap ok
Just found this! Great video and cinematic immersion!
My greatgrandfather fought in paschandaele for the 6. rheinisches infanterie-regiment nr 68
Ah I remember you told us this once during our session. I was fascinated with the story dude :)
@@Astronomical_Cinematics ah I remember too
Keep the great vids coming👍
realy nicely done
This is horrifying especially the part at 2:00 he’s screaming for someone to do something then the Germans sneaks up on him with a pickaxe
This needs way more views
Amazing!
pog
I love how a German walks up and stands 1 foot away from the trench full of brits expecting to do something.
Beautiful
"A Ghost in the Trenches"
Awesome!
You deserve subs
Good Job bro
Wow love this
I'd like a frontline server EU on this map and everyone playing historically accurate loadouts
I like the references😏😏😏
Oh that scream at 1:19 caught me so off guard
"Six miles of ground has been won
Half a million men are gone
And as the men crawled the general called
And the killing carried on and on
How long?
What's the purpose of it all?
What's the price of a mile?"
-Sabaton, The Price of a Mile
Love the new Intro
Let's go
*Battle Of Passchendaele*
October 1917
Passchendaele
Belgium
The british planned an assault to capture the ridge of Passchendaele. They have failed and suffered numerous casualities.
The canadian corps now arrived in Passchendaele for support as Haigs British forces have been almost depleted.
After months of brutal fighting, the canadians and british forces have finally pushed the germans back and finally captured the village of Passchendaele.
Ending the offensive on November 6th, in 1917.
With only small land gained from the offensive, commander Haig claimed victory of the battle.
However this was a costly offensive...
The British Empire had suffered 300.000 casualities. While the germans lost around 260.000 men.
The "Battle of Passchendaele" is defined as the worst sheer futility of the "World War One". The reckless disregard of commanding leaders led to countless deaths of the offensive.
I hate to ask, but why?
@@Astronomical_Cinematics Well... I just wanted to write this in my comment.
Good film.
I luv this... I sub to your channel
Thanks dude! There’s more content to check out on my channel. Thanks again for the support :)
Man... if only bf1 was really played like this
Exactly barely anyone uses the melee
@@EmzyyTFF I see melee combat almost all the time, I don't know what you're talking about.
@@AutumnBun321 introduce me to the servers you play on then
@@EmzyyTFF Uhh, just ordinary servers? Either you somehow don't see it very often, or you're too far away from the action.
I would like to know how you used medic weapons with an assault character.
Great video
Great video, I was wondering if one day you could remake or reenact the scene of the 1917 trench scene? The scene where Schofield and other Soldiers leave the trenches and run in the field towards the Germans.
😙👌
dude, srsly wtf, true ptsd how do you do this(like what tools do you use)?
Is this reuploaded i could’ve sworn ive seen this. Either way this is beautiful. Also being that hell let loose is coming to ps5 are you thinking about doing cinematics on that?
Its a stand-alone for the cinematic. And I might be thinking about it
Hey man, i love your cinematics, dou you play in xbox?
Sorry on PlayStation only
"Mud and rain and wretchedness and blood.
Why should jolly soldier-boys complain?
God made these before the roofless Flood -
Mud and rain.
Mangling cramps and bullets through the brain,
Jesus never guessed them when He died.
Jesus had a purpose for His pain,
Ay, like abject beasts we shed our blood,
Often asking if we die in vain.
Gloom conceals us in a soaking sack --
Mud and rain."
- Siegfried Sassoon describing the Battle of Passchendaele in his poem "Mud and Rain"
Can i cooperate with you? I have Battlefield 1 and 5
How were you able to play on that map? I tried but no one is ever on it...
Bruh I hope you know this was a cinematic, I had friends and a crew that helped
@@Astronomical_Cinematics lol!!! I knew that.
