Question to the viewers: Please recommend me some TechAltar-like channel, which focuses more on the analytical part of tech rather than just unboxings and reviews. I have been trying to make more content like that and felt I should consume more content like that.

As for the business practise - it is neither new, nor innovative ... .. i mean - the way you describe it, it is literally ancient. It is a carbon copy of proto-industrial factory owners in the UK and Europe. - successful yes .. but absolutely inhumane - and past its sell date in more (socially) developed countries - something that China will go through just like Europe did ... hopefully with less violence though.
I work at the Foxconn facility in Wisconsin - the project wasn't abandoned; disappointing you would report it as such. You otherwise nailed the company history and nature of how the business operates.
Foxconn will purchase the former GM Chevy Cruze factory in Lordstown, Ohio, from Lordstown Motors, and is expected to produce the electric Endurance pickup at the site.
Terry the "warlord" seems to be an old school capitalist the American used to have back in the late 19th Century... Since Taiwan has a conscription army, Terry served in the military for 2 years, and he mentioned that he runs his factory operation like a military unit
It is a myth that suicide rate among the nearly one million Foxconn workers is higher than average. I've checked that against the suicide rate of cities in China, Taiwan or Japan and found the rate among Foxconn workers are in fact much lower. Additionally most Foxconn factory workers are young and from rural areas working and staying away from home for the first time. A few percent of the general population anywhere do develop mental health problem manifesting around that age.

That's an amazing story! it reminds me of the Philippines SM shopping mall. I believe the creator was from Cebu. He grow up in poverty, started to make money by cleaning shoes, then he made some money where he biked back and forward between cities selling shoes he bought cheaper on the other side. After making enough money, he started to make building renting out space for different stores. Today he ruin large beautiful shopping malls, and have over 70 shopping malls around Philippines, and 7 in china.
Damn, super grateful they use Spectra7 Microsystems (SPVNF/SEV) chip and cable patented technology. Future growth and EV vehicles now looking forward to 2021-2030.
They're doing a good job with Sharp even if they're too focused on Japan. In my opinion the Aquos phones should be exported in Europe: they're awesome products. Maybe a better brand for export could be HTC, it's a Taiwanese company (like Foxconn), is well-known and respected in the Android market and it owns a lot of VR and AR patents so it would make sense.
Part of the Foxconn issue in China is due to the 996 culture that is common there. When combined with a boss that wants high production means those workers probably have to work harder in 1 day than those in the west work in 3 days. Having to do those high pressure days back to back drives people crazy.

This was my 1st video of yours. It informed me a lot, w/o psychodrama of how evil a man he was/is. He worked hard and sold his business. Yeah he squeezed the chinese people when they were ripe for the picking. That is the world we live in. Now the bills are coming due. Between the Chinese energy crisis, Evergrande collapse, and foreign capital fleeing China with its crack down on Tech companies and the overall entertainment business. I foresee a new recession starting in China. But the world will weather the storm as the supply chains move elsewhere. Some back to Japan and the US. How many people are newly unemployed from China's closing of private tutor schooling? China has an unemployment problem festering and 0% growth in revised forecasts.

I’ve seen that label on some mundane computer parts components here and there since the 486s era and you have to admit it sticks to your memory
My Asus motherboard from 12 years ago had Foxconn labels all over. I think it was the first time I understood the concept of outsourcing.
My hackintosh uses a Foxconn board. Its from a old prebuild (1155 socket). Its labled as foxconn and even has a foxconn graphical bios
When I got my first Asus computer I thought they were a generic startup copying everyone else.
