24:15 That guy suffers from a condition called ESE (enlarged sense of entitlement). It’s a serious condition that often causes a lot of pain and suffering (to those who come into contact with him.) It’s usually a chronic disability and those who have it don’t even need to display handicap plates or hangers to park in a handicap spot. Being in such close proximity to one who has advanced stage ESE, I’m actually a little surprised you didn’t have to give up your wheelchair for him because he needed it and obviously deserved it more than you.
Shiny Brite may indeed be a brand but I think it's a keyword people use to sell random shiny bright ornaments. Christopher Radko has a shiny brite collection but the lines have definitely been blurred 😊
Congrats on your 1st Mercari sale. A few pointers: Ignore likers/ watchers unless you have a significant amount. It's kinda like a FB like. Consider pricing 5%-10% higher than what you are really looking to get so that after the item goes stale (3-4 weeks) you can promote it which decreases the price by 5% and takes your item back to the top of search. Take offers. Buyers can only low ball at 25% off max. Don't do what most crosslisters do & dump all your items over there at once & never touch your listing again. Sales may be decent initially b/c the listings are fresh but then they go dead. Good luck.
Call the gold leaf on the brim "scrambled eggs". Sometimes can improve the chance it sells Edit, you said it about a minute later. You can keep the comment 😂
I frequently sell the same item for money on eBay, but only in categories where condition matters. I guess technically it's not the exact same item, but it's worth mentioning, If you have an item in perfect condition you should be price comparing with items in similar condition. You can actually make money buying items on ebay and then reselling them on eBay in categories where condition matters because sellers price their items like good ol onefoot here.
I often forget to state that I am talking about identical condition as well. Although if it is a super-common item (large number of listings) then that perfect one can easily be lost in the ocean if it isn't still posted towards the bottom of the pack.
Go ahead and print the label on the train car. FBM is a chit show, stopped selling on that platform for multiple reasons. Mercari can be ok I have almost 600 sales on there in over 2.5 years but Ebay is King buy far. Interested to see how your Crosslist experiment goes because you will actually be honest about it, unlike so many others. There is a portion of the population that is simply unreasonable/entitled glad someone spoke up.
Just started listening at work but wanted to ask if cross-list gave you any incentive for people to join or whatever. I have established accounts on the other majors and figured I might as well give it a try now.
@@onefootflipper Yeah no issue, just didn't want to miss the opportunity for a discount if they gave one. Wink-wink Nudge-Nudge #CrosslistDotCom - actually I see they did give out a code in the description. I think my hieroglyph was misinterpreted.
@@onefootflipper Blocked reply apparently. I do see they gave you a code for us for first time fees. I think I structured my question wrong. They can offer it to me free as well if they want.
I often sell items for a lot more than somebody else has for a lot less not sure if it is because I have better feedback or because eBay was promoting and I assume they like promoting items that are priced higher otherwise what is rhe point of promoting if yours is the cheapest
I often hear people say what you are saying but it doesn’t seem to show up with any frequency when I search sold items. I will pay up a few percent for a seemingly better seller but not anything substantial.
@onefootflipper then it is very likely promoted listings were promoting my item at the time naking the aearch order from lowest to most expensive out of whack
@@PabloDiabloTreasures Promoted listings are really good at snagging the person who buys the first thing that comes in front of their face, and are probably responsible for most of the outlier prices I find when doing price research. It unfortunately isn't consistent enough to rely on or come up with a one solution formula that works for everything.
Don't tell people on Marketplace that California Raisins aren't very valuable.

Thank you for the video and tips and great hats. I am in the house with a winter beanie hat on. It's cold.
I love that the Traveller's lot is still making you money. I had no idea.
I still have 14 of them.
Love your videos and family! Your are a great teacher and realist. Been loving the intros!
Thank you so much.

I can't do that anyway, I am limited to 100 listings right now and I have 1700 on my main ebay account.

Walk, limp, run, ride right on by, zip it🤐, speak not a word, paybacks a b -- %#!

I appreciate that!
I feel attacked as I live in a small Missiouri town lol great video sir.
I literally started thinking about that right after the words came out and didn't know how fix it. =)

When you juggle plush you should make sound effects.

It all depends, high value items you can get more money if the condition is better.
Of course, but high value items generally don't hand hundreds of them listed either.

And I am ONLY crosslisting hats since I have basically unlimited hats I can treat them sort of like quantity items.
i tried a year cross listing to mercari and just dropped it, their fee changed and general slowness don't make it worth it to me.
And I will be finding out if it is worth it for me. I am doing nearly every platform but basically just hats.
How's the prosthesis working?
We have had almost continual snow since I got it so I have only used it a few times, but so far so good.
So are you saying that whenever possible be the cheapest price on the page?
For condition yes.
Dont list one at a time and people wont buy one at a time. Simple as that

I am not being paid by them because I wanted to be able to be 100 percent honest. I do have use of the software for free though.
