I can't get over both how bloody pretty that boxter ended up looking, or how nice that Z is. Legit the amount of value you got for your cash on even one of those cars, let alone both, is a fucking anomaly. Very much enjoyed the whole lot, and cheers x
Those toll roads meant you missed Porlock Hill, the steepest A road in Britain! Would've been fun to see the 350Z test out a lack of ABS going down. On a summer's day, you can smell the woft of burning brakes even on the other side of the village.
Best video yet!! I have loved seeing my local area on UA-cam I drive across Dartmoor every day. It was great meeting you last week, thank you for taking the time to speak to me in the awful weather. The snow came on Thursday and we had 10-15 CM on the moors so it’s lucky you picked the day you did.
I’d put money on the misfire being a coil pack starting to break down, we burn through them on our drift car. They start intermittently misfiring and then fully give up.
Very cool to see you guys up on Dartmoor. These roads are 15-20 minutes drive from where I live and I love them. Sam from seen through glass also did a video around the area recently. Glad the roads are starting to get recognition. Love the videos !!
How about for a new series, you boys try to make a Performance Estate. But the twist is, it can't of had a Performance Estate one in its lineup. So for example fast Audi's and Volvo's are out. You could take a Clio estate and RS drivetrain swap it, or try to do a scrapyard challenge parts bin special version of an RS.
Used to live near Porlock. Lovely little place, but a bit boring. Also grew up on and around Dartmoor. Seeing that road again near the old Quarry brought back some great memories of going sledding near Princetown. We spent alot of time up on the moors, we were practically raised outside. What a great video, so many memories for me came flooding back. Still local-ish, just been a long long time

My Mondays are know known as 'TDC Monday'. all other guys watching, listen to their podcast. its informative, technical and more of a joy to listen to than the parent podcast... which is still good though.
Great, I live in the area of Dartmoor but Weston super mare is good too.. the pier is a quid. That toll road near Porlock weir is somewhere I’ve been a few times. The Warren House inn is a special place I go to! Lovely video!
I have owned both of these cars and I probably miss the Z more but the boxster open my eyes to how good it is when I drove it, flat 6 sounds ace with exhaust. Get past the hairdresser vibe its a good handling car. 350z also awesome sound felt bit heavy but a lot more torque/power. 😎. Good video tdc!
I took my Elise S3 to the Thruxton Skid Pan in the summer. Very very slippery on that polished concrete. It was an absolute hoot! Just like Edwin's Boxster, the Elise was very difficult to drift. Hope you chaps rinsed the cars down well at the end.
Love this channel now lads. Proper car guys. Proper car content. Good job for keeping things focussed on the reason why we all started following... Unlike some channels who have completely gone off the boil.
Been through that carpark a few time's in weston and yes... can't not make some noise 😂. The car scene was amazing 15 year's ago every sunday was cruise night
Thanks for more laughs. Recommend to find out where there's some waves in the UK, get some bodyboards and wetsuits, and you've found the right beach, imho. That beach is what comedian Bill Hicks described as, "dirt meets water".
After a lot of drifting with traction off, 350z's often throw fault codes as they seem confused. Usually resets after a bit of usual driving, on/off.....ah..good times!
Do a drift academy series. 3 episodes with you going full tokyo drift (350z and another modded car maybe?), in the finale get the entire autoalex team down to judge. Please we have to see this!!!
Mad, I was at that pub about two weeks ago. I hope someone had the rabbit pie. Also cracking work gents, really loving the channel, podcast, the whole thing, keep up the good work.
I could have sworn i saw you both come past my van up on Dartmoor a week or so ago. Boxster, roof down, following a 350z. same colours. Both sounded pretty nice actually.
My home town is Weston, absolute sh*t hole but back in the early 2000’s on a bank holiday weekend it would be absolutely rammed with modified cars! Great times
What a nice trip, not breaking down was actually a bit refreshing. Those cars performed great and I bet you had lots of fun. Can’t wait for the next one!
As a customer I'd be worried that a business asking for a deposit upfront was actually at risk of insolvency and thus I would loose my deposit, especially if they don't accept credit card. Thought one I guess it works both ways. Lots of small.businesses don't accept credit card but my view is that they provide an excellent intermediary and insurance against either party ending up out of pocket.
The skidpad was a bit uneducated. The boxter will always be harder to slide because of it's engine placement. A front engined rear drive car is much easier to control than a mid engined rear drive car. The fact Edwin could hold it for so long was quite impressive, especially when you factor in the wheelbase of the boxter is quite short.
@@lwv52 Yes, that is exactly why rear engine rear wheel drive is much worse. Moving the engine to the rear moves the weight distribution rearwards. I couldn't find numbers for a boxter, but a 911 is around 60% rear / 40% front, which is absolutely terrible! It is pretty insane that they manage to make some of the fastest cars on the planet from such an "unbalanced" platform.

Will deserves a BAFTA for that co-driver impression.
It was perfect
All the gear vs TDC vs Autoalex caravan challenge please
Would be epic
ATG? What, you want them to turn up in a $1 pack of garbage bags or something? xD
You could 100% get a banger track to let you use it for an hour in the week. End with a race.
13:55 kinda highlights how important lights are when it's dark and rainy. Should probably turn them on Edwin
lights are for losers
😂❤

Especially when people forget to shift down, or people in automatic who doent know to shift down manually
Its a wonderful day when TDC drops
facts
Putting Accelera 651 semi slicks on for a winter road trip was a rogue decision.
You two should try to paint a car. There are plenty of videos that explain how to do it,and i think it would be interesting video.
I see what you are doing and I’m here for it. It’s easy lads. Big paint is a scam.
The one from Alex is a good example. ;-)
One of them should paint, while the other one tries a wrap. Let the hilarity ensue. 🤣
@@seanfox8185 paint is ridiculously expensive, most auto body shops make very little markup on materials for paint. It’s the labour that’s expensive
Yeah the blue one 😂@@benjaminfrohns

Indeed they do
2:23 will mate i dont think theres any upgrade you couldve done that would make you able to hear us
I'm still shouting at him. WIIIIIIILLLLLLL
i caught that
THE NOTIFICATION WE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
Congrats ben on your first skid 😂😂😂😂😂
I misread this as first kid and was intensely confused!
That scottish rally co-driver impression had me on the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very cool to see you guys up on Dartmoor. These roads are 15-20 minutes drive from where I live and I love them. Sam from seen through glass also did a video around the area recently. Glad the roads are starting to get recognition. Love the videos !!
Massive props to Thruxton for working with local creators! Great video lads
Been waiting for this

Ed finally got a c55,im so happy for him.think of all the cleaning he's done on it already 😂
I love how TDC have a purple timer at the bottom so everyone knows at what point to skip the advert!
Weston! Honestly the max power days in the 90s on the sea front was insane!
every single night was a car show
Bank holiday weekends were absolutely rammed!
Putting a set of ditch finders on a Boxster cant be good

Only good thing about Mondays these two
Dartmoor has some very underrated driving roads. Used to love riding my Duke 125 or driving my 80s mini and triumph spitfire up there.
I like that you guys aren’t overly childish and stupid. Just good honest car fun
The only good thing about Mondays

This is quite possibly my favourite ever car UA-cam video. I honestly don't know why but I just adored every second of this.

Love the cars, but here to give love to Will's Hamilton Khaki Murph. Great watch fella.

Been waiting for the next install of these episodes. Can't wait for another one. Keep up the great content.
Bought 35 tickets for the Porsche, you are the first channel I've ever been interested in actually supporting
Nice to see you stopped at the Warren Inn , one of our favourites pubs .

It's nice seeing Ben join in! He should definitely be part of the team more!
Little bark when Will says ‘great’ at the beach lol
this channel is so refreshing compared to half the other channels I see these days.
Did Porlock hill in the summer. Was a great little road. The drops off the side were a fun view 😂
Great wrap up to the series lads, good job. Awesome to see more of Ben too.
After a lot of drifting with traction off, 350z's often throw fault codes as they seem confused. Usually resets after a bit of usual driving, on/off.....ah..good times!
I love your guys video style. Its so refreshing and something that is actually achivable by most people
Seeing the two of you go around Weston-super-Mare (where I live) just seemed surreal, glad you enjoyed it though haha, come back in July it''s lovely
I live there/ here too 😂
Will sounds like muttley when he laughs 😂😂 slowly becoming the best youtubers for laughing with and at 🤙🤙🤙

Your episodes are so high quality, its amazing how far you've come but you really deserve more subscribers
Shout out to the Warren House Inn, my goto destination when I fancy a drive.
Dartmoor with the roof down is always a treat!
In my neck of the woods, unfortunately this is the weather we get 90% of year 😂 Haytor does have some awesome places to drive tho
I bet you thought you'd look pretty smart with that yellow jacket, didn't ya!
Just taking the piss, mate!
I was laughing at that jacket. thanks!
Mad, I was at that pub about two weeks ago. I hope someone had the rabbit pie.

Will looking good with that Hamilton Murph 😮😉
Was just about to comment the same 😂
I originally didn't like that TDC uploaded on Mondays, but i get it now it makes just that bit more bearable, thanks for all the content lads.
I could have sworn i saw you both come past my van up on Dartmoor a week or so ago. Boxster, roof down, following a 350z. same colours. Both sounded pretty nice actually.
LOVE Dartmoor! Used to drive up there all the time once upon a lifetime ago when I used to live in Kingsbridge :D
I had to put in some cheeky entries for the Boxter because I live 20min from Dartmoor 😂. Great series this. Looking forward to what's next.
Gotta love a trip to weston super mud especially when the sea goes out for about 3 miles 😂😂
Awesome to see you guys enjoying my local roads of dartmoor
My home town is Weston, absolute sh*t hole but back in the early 2000’s on a bank holiday weekend it would be absolutely rammed with modified cars! Great times
Wills navigating voice over was 10/10 😂
Great video (yet again ) guys. Also it was good seeing Ben getting some screen time.
No way!!!! Weston super mare! My home town! Ah boys!
That TDC christmas sweater is DOPE
Shout out to those DJI mic’s nailing that awful wind!
Tremendous video guys your channel goes from strength to strength 🏴👍🏻
I loved taking my Impreza across Dartmoor once it’s fixed I’ll probably go back there 😂
First. Luv TDC guys. Yall cook all the time
Love to see it tbh, can’t beat a TDC drop
You went to an arcade, and the pier, but not the arcade on the pier? Madness.
What a nice trip, not breaking down was actually a bit refreshing. Those cars performed great and I bet you had lots of fun. Can’t wait for the next one!
So funny, the @17.00 noise, i had the same issue with a X5 and it was the same size branch, thought my wheel bearing had suddenly gone out :D
nothing is more depressing knowing you were working in weston approx the same time these guys were there and missing them, gutting
Will's transition from Scottish to Welsh co driver accent was both smooth and faultless! 😂
Always lovely to see Edwin's Super Touring era BTCC jacket
so weird as a Dartmoor local seeing you two rip around. We have some great roads , I very much enjoy driving my e36 on them. loved the vid

you guys had made a really sick channel and the info you give us is top notch
Awesome series. Can’t wait for the next one
This has easily become my favorite UA-cam car channel. =]
That pub does great food. Been there many times, you're in my neck of the woods.
I never thought I'd see the day that you two would come to my home town of Weston-Super-Mare
The co driver impression was golden 😂
Excellent vid lads, the Z is the better one. Keep traveling in the UK, promote this beautiful land!
