Hi. I can see that you put a lot of effort in your videos and your knowledge coming from experience is an even better contribution to the content of the videos. So for a total beginner like me, it helps a lot. You sound sincere and honest with the stuff you're talking about. Down to earth, I'd say. When I think of the elements it goes like this: I think of fire as the raw strength caused by willpower and wands are used to direct willpower (energy, if you may). Chalices can hold water and some may look at the water and see themselves, others see the world they are protecting (for example the king of cups). This works well in my readings. For swords, I imagine directing the wind in the way one desires, with a sword. So the same as you do explain it in your video. When it comes to the pentacles, I think of what this universe is made of, all the chemical elements combined. As you know, each side of the pentagram corresponds to an element, the up-right one corresponding to soul. The combination of all make up the world we experience every-day, hence the "earthly matters" vibe we get from the cards. This was my way of thinking and I'm a total beginner so please correct any mistake I may have made. I love your videos, thank you.

1:16 Oh thank goodness, bc I never got how Swords got assigned with Air. They're a sheath of metal that is forged in fire. If we're supposed to go off of swords swinging in the air as the reason, then wouldn't wands be more appropriate since they not only get waved in the air, but they represent the extension of the *invisible* energy from our spell-casting finger. More reinforcement: Air is also invisible and Fire is gleaming like a Sword. For a long time, I felt that Wands & Swords should swap elements, especially considering the fact that Air is light like a Wand & Swords are heavy (and destructive like fire). But then I realized, I'd have to rearrange so many other correspondences bc alot of them relate to the elements. So it's a relief that you gave that reassurance. I don't have to worry about being exact or perfect, I can just go with whatever resonates for me. Thank you!

1:16 Oh thank goodness, bc I never got how Swords got assigned with Air. They're a sheath of metal that is forged in fire. If we're supposed to go off of swords swinging in the air as the reason, then wouldn't wands be more appropriate since they not only get waved in the air, but they represent the extension of the *invisible* energy from our spell-casting finger. More reinforcement: Air is also invisible and Fire is gleaming like a Sword. For a long time, I felt that Wands & Swords should swap elements, especially considering the fact that Air is light like a Wand & Swords are heavy (and destructive like fire). But then I realized, I'd have to rearrange so many other correspondences bc alot of them relate to the elements. So it's a relief that you gave that reassurance. I don't have to worry about being exact or perfect, I can just go with whatever resonates for me. Thank you!
Always use what works for you. Wands/Air & Swords/Fire has an equally strong tradition. Especially for those who are practicing the pagan path.
