Instead of a regular pencil, use a watercolor pencil, and blend in your lines when you use the watercolors!
One of my favourite things about your channel is you show what the piece would look like as wall art. That is super unique and cool.

These ideas are so wonderful. I’ve now got 7 pages in my journal from your satisfying 7 ideas. The very first one I did bled through 😂 and I thought about tearing out the page, but instead I drew circles all over it and it actually turned out awesome with the bleed through! Your ideas are simple to do yet elegant and beautiful. I’m so grateful to you and the other artist I follow on UA-cam. I’m grateful that both of you are sharing your art and giving ideas and lessons. It may not seem like a big deal, but you have no idea how life changing this can be for someone who suffers from anxiety so crippling that I’m afraid to even start. I just found you a few days ago... and I AM HOOKED on your channel!! I have been an artist since I was a little kid - like, I was illustrating what I heard around me before I could write. I had gotten away from it for awhile because of shoulder and hand pain, but it is now therapy for me: mentally and physically. Your artwork has inspired me to try new things in a sketchbook - and be much more free in my work. I'm almost 60, so an old dog CAN learn new tricks! I absolutely LOVED when you were just painting with the music playing. I could listen and watch that for an hour (or two!).

Paula, I love all the sketchbook ideas! Another video idea for our sketchbook that would be helpful for me, and hopefully for many of your followers would be ideas to do while traveling. Whether it's a road trip or a plane ride, having creative options with fewer art supplies, is helpful creatively but also for those who need the distraction for traveling anxieties. Some pages could be partially prepped, or doing some of the prep work when we get home? Anyway, thanks for listening, can't wait to see more sketchbook ideas!

Hello again. I just found you tonight (as I mentioned in the previous video I watched), but forgot to comment on what an amazing difference it makes when you have your sketch book art blown up and displayed on a wall...WOW!!! Also, thank you so much for sharing your art supplies. I'm quite new to watercolour and alcohol markers, and have found it to be a little confusing just what to invest in. I'm grateful for the help.
Hey again! If you are beginning you are so lucky you can focus more on the fun that in the supplies! Get whatever makes you the most excited to play with! In sure you’ll have tons of fun and you’ll too stumble with lucky mistakes that will turn into something great! ❤️❤️❤️

Really appreciate the time you took to show a mockup of the idea in a larger scale! I have thrown away half of my pages toooooo often, and appreciate a completely unexpected idea on how to fix. As I was staring at your final art - I had an intense desire to put colored washes over the areas between each of your lines. TOOO fun!!!

Loooviiiing the leaves and houses page! I gotta be better about just doodling or creating just to create. If everything has a purpose or direction, seems to be less room for experimenting - since youre looking for a “perfect” result each time.
