Back when this wasn't the normal of video after video on channel after channel. Experience was the best teacher anyone could have had. Not saying it's a bad thing but so many today think oh I've seen all the videos and I'm gonna know how to and weeds about to become legal so that's what I'm obsessing on right now. But they are always going to ask questions and run into problems we all have no denying that amd then will have to ask and learn new things and causes of these problems as their thirst for knowledge expanded. But Experience will always be the greatest way to learn. I've been growing for some time and the reason I watch UA-cam grow videos are to see if maybe something new is being discussed or information I might not need but in my system might not be what I do or considered best practices so the mind is always think and strategizing in ways ideas and mind sets to always keep learning and evolving but have been through many of these and know quite a bit. So the videos are like fine tuning and keep things fresh and not really to learn it all.cause I really don't need to I'm looking for new innovative ideas and ways in which people are doing new things. Oen is using bottles and an organic system isn't a good thing I'm mostly organics but I do buy a bottle cal mag sure I could use dolomite lime I just use the bottle nutrient I have foe some time and can say that doing that isn't killing off anything beneficial or I'm adding every once in a while that it's not harmful to my soil or system so you can use one or the other in the same soil with great results. But to say bottles will kill off all the good things in a soil my plants might have to say something different. Cause I see and hear it all the time bottles kill off beneficials used in organics yet to see a loos in things or health so it can be done but is widely told it can't and will have an effect you don't want 🤷 sure my plantsnwould say if they could speak that they were doing just fine 👌
My son passed away in June just as we were starting our first grow. My time in the tent has brought me peace and purpose. My time with UA-cam has brought me success.
He did a pretty darn good job of explaining how to go about organics, find your own method. No matter how much advice you get, you have to try it yourself and find what works for you!
My friend, you used the chapter index. Not that I would skip anything - a once through always... and then I like to return to a few key moments... instead of having to note the TC, you did that work for me. I am very appreciative of your thoughtfulness. Thank you. Also, Yes, PLEASE, a part 2, 3, 4... and a series on "how to decrypt my plant's leaves - yellow, green, saggy, tiny holes..."
Been watching medically fit for a while now and always love his content. Can we please get a part 2 and possibly a part 3. I appreciate you Chris for getting all these great content creators together and bringing the community great information!
Part 2 please! This was really awesome to hear from somebody who has so much experience with dry amendments. A lot of this stuff is really confusing, and it helps a lot to have somebody break down each individual product piece-by-piece and explain why it helps and what it does
Not product pushing or anything like that but DOWN TO EARTH has been great to me... I’ve just been using The 444 and 484 exclusively...just might have to step outside my comfort zone....THANK YOU FOR THE KNOWLEDGE!!!

Honestly I'm so glad I found mr cunuck's videos first .. slow release organic amendments and water your plants ! Such a relief knowing I ain't gotta be a scientist mixing nutes all the time!!!
I needed this so bad, I'm a first time grower and I will only grow organic. This has helped out so much and also has reassured me my research is going well. Please make this a part 2, 3, 4, and forever. I also agree, no liquid nutes they spoil. That can't be good for our girls!
On the Amendments of Calcium is Crucial!!! Gypsum ? I read of gardeners inserting chalk into the soil? And Im currently using a Tums in a bottle of water for my calcium feeding.
My husband has a health condition and that has inspired us to start growing …hopefully hell be able to live out the next decade … but if not I feel like growing will be such therapy & it’s a way to connect with him these days … thanks for the content
Mrgrowit always seems to have a video pop up for exactly what info I’m looking for. Thx for always being there since day 1. It would be really helpful to add on-screen prompts for each amendment your talking about. It would make it much easier to revisit and cycle through the video. I understand this will make your video making process way longer, but this will make your videos stand out and all your viewers will love u for it!
This is a great video. He really knows the ins of everything. Love how he breaks down all the questions. Great questions here. Good to know what is best for my organic garden but better to know exactly what each is doing and how they react to eachother.
LOVE IT,IM USING GAIA GREEN DRY ORGANICS AND PROMIX HP PEAT ,COMPOST MIX ,,EASY JUST WATER ,TOP DRESS 1 WEEK BEFOR FLIP THEN WEEK 4-5 OF FLOWER AND PH WATER 6.0==6.5
Mr Chris, this guy,I've been following him 4 a while,he just put preying mantis in,luv his channel.good friend put me on him.he has sooooo much valuable info it's crazy.tyvm for having him on. Also i really, how do I put this....u and I nearly simultaneously started thinking about sustainability(.my carbon footprint)In our gardens.so the questions you've been asking all these great farmers....it's like you're in my head sometimes.im new,or at least I consider myself a newbie, there is literally sooooo much 411 on gardening that it can get overwhelming, even frustrating trying to figure this out.so tyvm for spot lighting and asking the right questions from the right people.
His story is so similar to mine. I turned towards growing to cope as well when my father passed almost 20yrs ago and I'm sure glad I did. Nature gives us ALL we need and more and I am forever grateful to mother earth.
It really helped me through a tough time and I am very thankful I started growing because it's how I can still spend time with him as I learn how to cope with his loss while putting my energy into this plant that has taught me a lot over the years of cultivating. Nice to hear that you have a similar story, I hope it's helped you thru the years.
Talks getting better and better , thank you for all the positive vibes 🤙🏻🌱Ps: I’d love to hear how to utilize every part of your plant during/after harvest in either garden talk or from the stash but just a thought 💭 🧐
Excellent thank you both! I believe in the living soil! A follower of Medically Fit for years. I’ve been organic gardening since I was 6 yrs/old. This was a great share. I would not mind #2 ! Sincerely, Nana.

I love DTE thanks for explaining all the ones I thought I needed. I have probably 10 boxes right now. Seem to get a new one every time I go to the store. So cheap too.
there really is an organic revolution happening & one of the interesting things is seeing easy to use products that are a blend of all these dry ammendments for instance "Re-charge" & one im goning to be using that has a full range from microbial to biological management "Ecothrive" with there own Eco life living soil ,Charge, Biosys to Life Cycle. worth checking them out for sure , thanks another great interview from another very knowledgable guy
Man I’ve rewatched this video like 4 times now and I still take something new every time. We need a part 2 Chris that would be dope. I use down to earth dry amendments with recharge and I have to complaints. Love this video man!
Awesome information, thanks! I subbed to his channel and saved this to watch again. No matter what you grow this is good into. Have you ever used Dr Earth's dry amendments/ organic fertilizers? They're made from food waste and seem to work well. They have a bunch of different mixes with mycroraiza and beneficial microbes. And they have liquids you can pump right on your soil that cause mycelium to grow on the soil surface. Bug box stores sell their products.
Love this podcast. I moved to gypsum over lime. I think it has worked better. I make a complex super soil and add about half a tablespoon per gallon of media. I started out with a whole tablespoon per gallon and in turned out a little too hot. So I dialed if back. Now things like azomomite, kelp and gypsum I do a little extra. My base is peat, castings and perlite. Every super soil is different. Mine works very well...edit..no longer using azomite.
Very timely..l just picked up some fox farm organic dry amendments and some worm castings.. going to try a side by side with the bottle nutrients I currently use.(Also fox farm). ✌️

Pleas keep up the good work, loving the attention to organics you are the best MR grow it Garden talks are my favorite grow show.

Me to and this the first time I seen his face
Yea we need a part 2. I'm about to rewatch this and write A LOT of stuff down.

Not product pushing or anything like that but DOWN TO EARTH has been great to me... I’ve just been using The 444 and 484 exclusively...just might have to step outside my comfort zone....THANK YOU FOR THE KNOWLEDGE!!!
I’d be willing to bet most of the NPK dry amendment companies are using Down to Earth for a few of their ingredients.
Nitrogen: Used coffee grounds
Potassium: Blended banana peels
Phosphorus: bonemeal/blended up fish or small meat bones
Per gallon for vegging plants (top dress monthly):
Coffee (52g)
Bonemeal (1.4g)
Banana peel (28g)*
Per gallon for flowering plants (top dress monthly):

This is an absolute gem! Thank you so much for helping lead our community with passion and inspiration.
Can not get enough, I love that someone feeds their girls like I do
The amendments that are harder to breakdown, I put in my worm bin and they do the work for me.
My husband has a health condition and that has inspired us to start growing …hopefully hell be able to live out the next decade … but if not I feel like growing will be such therapy & it’s a way to connect with him these days … thanks for the content
I put dolomite lime in a solution and found the solution to have off the scale high alkalinity. so I used it to up my ph in my tea.
I’m looking forward to part two and three. This has really made understanding organics much easier then reading multiple websites for the same info!
Mrgrowit always seems to have a video pop up for exactly what info I’m looking for. Thx for always being there since day 1.
