Absolutely please try to make 1 2 or 3 KNF specific episodes, I cannot fir the life of me find reliable info and it would be amazing to learn more from these geniuses

A million thanks to this channel, before i knew of this channel i had a hard time keeping my plants alive or even germinating. I ditched the chemicals and started an organic grow word by word according to these videos and im now a proud organic grower. Anything you throw in soil will sprout in one week and grow fast and healthy. Mr. Canuck's, Mr. GrowIt, goblin, Green Latern, Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You. You want to use compost tea in the 12-24 hour mark for a bacterial dominant tea, 24-48 fungal dominant and over 48 protozoa dominant. Protozoa feeds on bacteria so for a bacterial dominant soil you want to keep it under the 24 hour range. Love the show
I like lawn clippings to put around my plants my grandfather grew roses and showed them plus other plants he always had lawn clippings around each plant they keep your microbes happy and it feeds your plants
I a 7 gallon I do a light top dress halfway through flower. Only gaia 2 8 4 at that point no worm castings. I is worm castings on all the prior top dresses.
I always start from building a soil, adding organic seaweed meal, fish meal plus organic all purp 5 4 3 with added volcanic rock dust wiv my bacs then 4 weeks cook off while my seeds split n grow a month!!! Awesome episode Chris. I fully agree . I add a few different things to Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Nothing crazy but things like rice hulls more perlite and castings. 50/50 blend of FFOF and FFHF gets me through veg.
I've been experimenting. I'm doing a pure organic grow for about 6 weeks of veg. Then when I swap to flower I "butt chug" miracle grow organics and flower food once a week and the results have been shocking. I keep diatomaceous earth on top to keep fungus gnats away. So far this method is kicking A (to get all micronutrients you have to combine flower food 15-30-15 and organics 888)
Purple cow crafters blend with purple cow indicanja is a perfect mis blended together and bust out that foop organic nutrients you cant get more organic than that ..love the podcast
Yeah me too. The liquid organics work about just as well as the liquid synthetics, you can also grow larger trees in smaller pots if you don't miss feeds. However what I found was in both cases I had to vary with water only feed to reduce salt build ups in the soil. Liquid organics usually contains kelp which also builds up in the soil.
@@frederickventer4968 yes I don't water to run off and feed light with biobizz, fox farm big bloom, fox farm cal mag, recharge and mammoth p. I've watched a lot of these and love them all but obviously some more than others as they pertain to my current grow. New to organics and loving it, but a learning curve like anything new. This video had so much great info! Can't wait to start my next run.
If you do realize organics break down to the exact same elements that salt base fertilizer's provide and the plants have 0 idea where those particular elements come from organic organics are pointless what kind of like pissing into the wind
@Gs friendly Trees MMJ I mean I get that organics you feed soil to feed plant where synthetic you directly feed the roots....that said, the grow itself seems to be a lot easier and no mixing nutrients constantly. Sure it's not back breaking work, but also like the idea of just watering with an occasional tea. I've grown synthetic in coco and DWC/RDWC, but this is by far the easiest grow.
That was a very good episode. I am about to switch from a bottled synthetic grow to the build a soil organic. Excited and I bit apprehensive at the same time. Great episode
I learned something about the meaning of hot soil. I've been re-useing all my soil, and now I know if the soil has been flushed and stable before I use it.
I’ve been hearing so many good things about the craft Blend. I’m Gonna have to pick me up some to mix into my pro-mix Bx & my compost I’m gonna also put some down in my mulch layer and let the worms & 12 blend cover crop
I agree with Richard Belzar Jr here. Mushroom compost is stupendous. I filled my vegetable garden raised beds with it and 2 yr old horse manure. This was 5 years ago. That soil is now so black and rich...I haven't amended it yet...I can grow 3lb Mule Train tomatoes. I took about 3 gallon and baked it in my garage oven @170 degrees for 3 hrs so I could use it inside. Now I just get a scoop of compost from the center of my pile and use it for compost tea to replenish the microbes. Even in the dead of winter there is still activity going on in my compost pile. It helps my cannabis plants like it was FoxFarm nutes with no burning or ph issues.
I use a old bath tub to mix my soil in i have found its getting really good after six months i keep adding lawn clippings over the first 3 months the dolomite has broken down that i added at start blood and bone has broken down it takes time to get a good mix
organics ! I'm so sold and never going back . The KNF part about sitting rice in the forest to hopefully attract microbes. I’m going to use that perlite in my soil anyway but I wonder about microbes on it helping things. Maybe.
I wonder if the 15 gallon pots that ran hot all the way through the grow would be good candidates to mix just those soils together to make a super soil that might maintain itself if ya keep it going and use that specific soil as a top dress. Idk. Just seems like something worth while to keep going.
