2011 Ford Fiesta Transmission Malfunction Service now warning message on dashboard yellow wrench

Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" UA-cam Channel!
This video shows you what it's like to see the transmission warning indicator message come up show on the center dashboard display screen it's pretty neato! too bad this message appears, but it means that the vehicle needs a new transmission control module, but right now however, there is a nationwide backorder on the component due to the current computer chip shortage from covid. so you can't even get one from Ford! too bad, so the car can't be driven until it's fixed!
anyway, you get to see the vehicle engine start up and watch the dashboard lights, and listen to the sounds and see the message, which can not go away until fixed. you also get to see the yellow wrench symbol and the check engine light CEL SES and the wrench message with an oil bottle. also the vehicle has low miles mileage, only about 78,000 miles, so that's pretty low for a 2011 model year car.
even after clearing the codes with a scan tool, the message still reappears.
Science is cool, stay in school, study stem science technology engineering math chemistry physics and stuff like that is great to know!

Mine says engine malfunction but it doesn’t show any major codes when I ran it at autozone. There’s also a wrench light on. Guy I bought it from told me it’s because he replaced the throttle body and when I press ok it goes away. But I’m curious as to what the problem might be

Just had this pop up today going around a roundabout, lucky had enough forward motion to get off the road!

Clean off the paint on the ground wire connection coming from the negative battery post where it connects to the metal tab

@@Yazmotors, it needs to have a good ground. The paint prevents it from getting a good ground. If after you do this and the transmission continues to do the same thing, there’s a control module that needs to be replaced or reprogrammed, but it’s a huge hassle. It’s probably better to just get rid of the car.

mines has 50k miles on the odometer. It will not say that message at all. It will just pop on the check engine light with code p090c. Dealer said tcm is gone. Do you have the same number??

When transmission fluid hot light goes on what dose that it do that
