They didn’t have to deal with tv regulations). The riders in this series are wearing suits, they’re actually transforming into refined monster forms to fight
One thing to think about is that most Riders actually transform into their forms, meaning they are technically monsters. There are a good chunk that are artificial or wear gear as their Rider Suit, but a majority of the time they aren't wearing suits and are actually creatures.
Black, Black Rx, Black Sun, Shadow Moon, Shin, (just watch the transformations for all of these) Kuuga (his belt is a gemstone that is fused to his nervous system that alters his genetic makeup when transforming), Gills (you see his mouth open everytime he transforms and spines emerge from his body when he attacks, all Hibiki Riders, all Kiva Riders,except Ixa (watch how they transform), and so far all the Gavv Riders are all monsters(you Gavv bite through a chocolate bar, also his belt is actual organ that is part of his body). Amazon rating in japan itself is adult, that's just not because the fight is too gore but also the story plot is too complicated and too dark for kid to understand. Those monsters then ran away and hid among human since they have ability to disguise themselves as human (that's why some of the monster that appear is wearing human clothing, because they previously disguising themselves) There are three Main Character here: 1. Amazon Alpha (Jin), the Red Kamen Rider Amazon, was former scientist from the said corporation. After the Amazons ran away and killed most of his fellow scientists friends, he felt like that it's his responsibility to kill every single Amazons on this planet. He then injected the Amazons cell into his body, transforming him into Amazons as well, and use its power to hunt other Amazons. 2. Amazon Omega (Haruka), the Green Kamen Rider Amazon, is actually an Amazons that was raised as normal human child by one of the Executive from the Corporation. After Haruka found out that he's not human, he ran away and met Jin, and later he's able to transform into Kamen Rider Amazon as well. Jin want to kill every single one of Amazons, without exception, and that include himself and Haruka. Haruka on the other hand, don't want to die, and want a coexistence where Amazon like him can live a normal life with other human. Then later, it got more complicated in season 2 as we got Chihiro on the mix, where Jin have 'very personal reason' to not let Chihiro live and constantly hound him down, while Haruka tried to protect Chihiro from Jin, but later he realized that Chihiro is more dangerous than he thought, and he's on a fence between keeping his ideal of 'coexistence' or to kill Chihiro to prevent an inevitable big tragedy.
Shin, ZO, J, and may be kuuga, hibiki can be more horror than Amazons, Amazons just show more blood and victim, in kuuga series we can see flesh and blood on the wall when N daguva zeba kill all weaker gurongi, and some gurongi more brutal
They took it up a notch with Kamen Rider Black Sun. 😃 I will say the crown might to goes Kamen Rider Shin because of it horrifying transformation and finishers. It is basically like a Kamen Rider version of Mortal Kombat and it even has that spine rip outta body fatality. 😃
Remember Shin and his agonizing henshin ? I headcanon that the Amazon riders all henshin the same way as Shin, except they use their belts to accelerate and enhance the process.

Spoilers for Amazons.......You have been warned In season 1, there was in incident that happened in Nozoma Pharma in which more than 200+ people that were experimented using Amazon Cells in order to study cell regeneration. Those people escaped the facility without the knowledge that the armlets they have with the medicine inhibiting the amazon cells can only last up to 2 years (or less depending on the type of amazon classification it is). After that incident, The Hunters were formed in order to kill the escaped subjects and preventing a national emergency from happening Jin, is a scientist that was heavily involved in the creation of the Amazon Cells and when that incident happened, took it upon himself to kill the monsters hes created by injecting amazon cells to himself and creating the amazon drivers, becoming Amazon Alpha (the red one) Haruka on the other hand, was created from the cells of the president of Nozoma Pharma (the woman) and was vat-grown into existence, for 2 years he was observed by the corporation besically becoming a human lab rat (hence why he never had any memories of his childhood or aything for the past 2 years). He becomes curious of what would happen if he rejects the inhibiting drug so he stopped taking it, resulting to his amazon cells activating for the first time and gaining his natural form. After Nanaha convinces him to have a purpose in life, he takes the other driver and becomes Amazon Omega
Spoilers......You have been warned Ironically, the jingles for the two are polar opposites to their nature but acts as a foreshadowing on what they end up as Jin having the Wild jingle fights in a calm, collective manner, developing a fighting style that is more strategic and more incidentally focuses on the weaknesses of the enemy he faces. After the tlaloc incident, hes driven to insanity and fighting the amazons with hatred and vigor, becoming more wild and cannibalistic. Haruka on the other hand, had a more wild fighting style and relies to his wild instinct, overwelhming his enemies with seer brutality and strength. After the tlatoc incident he becomes more calm and collected, even when he fights with wild instinct at hand, he has more control of his actions and strikes unlike in the previous episodes

Okay for kamen rider Amazon's. The monsters that he is fighting are called Amazon's basically think of them as B.O.W.s from the resident evil games. And the reason why they are hunted down is due to their need ro consume human flesh. the protagonist of this series is a domesticated amazon who throughout the seasons 1-2 and the movie he triew suppress the urge to eat humans. The season 2 protagonist however is a lot worst though cause unlike the previous Amazon's he is unconsciously turnig everyone into amazons. And by the way it gets alot more messier when you get to Blacksun

Now, AmazonS is the remake-ish of the original Amazon serie, which was campy and cheesy, but brutal as hell, one of the finishers was litterally gnawing and tering open the jugular of the MoW. Lore in an overly compressed manner, a scientist-medical researcher group that isn't evil-evil, but is still completelly foul, developed this procedure that mutates human to give them regenerative powers. This gives them an unending hunger and a need for eating meat. These new human being, called amazons, can freely transform, and are tracks with a circlet on their arm, which inject them with a suppressant but the tracker only goes off when the suppressant runs out. The combination of the suppressant running out, and the fact they can fully regenerate from the door of death with a couple of rottiserie chickens (litterally) makes them VERY dangerous fornthe population One of the doctor, the red Amazon, Alpha, decided that he will kill all of his creation, and made the belt, which controlls, directs and upgrades the transformation. The green one is Omega, and he's also able to use the belt function to transform the metal and salta in one's body into weapons (that's why it was already bloody). In the second season he get's upgraded with the Neo belt, which allows him to get the blade from his gauntlet for less persona detriment. The white one is Sigma, previusly a member of the anti-amazon squad, KiA but recovered before his corpse could be eaten, and somewhat brought back to life with the use of the evil scientist reseaches The blue one is the second season protagonist, Neo, his story is one of being doomed. He doesn't have a blade, but rather a rivet gun, and can bend unshot one into hooks. The last one in darker color is NeoAlpha, and yes, that's a minigun with a bayonet-mounted chainsaw. That should tell you all about the guy An often lost details of the serie, is that season 1 monsters are all insect, arachnids and marine artropods, with the exception of the monitor-lizard based protagonists and the one friendly amazon based on a mole, while season 2, for lore reasons, has the monster use various animal as base Also, yeeeaaa, the official powerscaling is that every full fledged standard kamen rider is steon at leas as any given 3 sentai rangers, and most sentai are steonger than their PR counterpart...

These Amazon Riders are not the suit, their body are the one that turns into a "suit". Basically most showa riders and heisei rider such as Kamen rider Kamen Rider 1, Kamen Rider 2, V3, Stronger, Amazon (1974), Agito, Kamen Rider Black, Kamen rider Black-RX, Shin-Agito, J, Zo, Hibiki (which is an Oni) are also their own bodies that transformed, yup, their transformed form were not a suit. Different than modern kamen riders series like Ryuki, Kabuto, Decade, Double, Zero one, etc that are humans using armored suit. Also, Meanwhile there is Kamen Rider Faiz (555) who can use Faiz Driver to use Kamen rider Faiz armored suit because he was actually a monster which was suitable for the suit (some humans who forcing to wear it would died after). P.S : Kamen Rider Amazons (2016-2017) is a retelling series from showa era Kamen Rider Amazon (1974) which was one of the most violent tv shows at the time and dark. In season 1, there was in incident that happened in Nozoma Pharma in which more than 200+ people that were experimented using Amazon Cells in order to study cell regeneration. Those people escaped the facility without the knowledge that the armlets they have with the medicine inhibiting the amazon cells can only last up to 2 years (or less depending on the type of amazon classification it is). After that incident, The Hunters were formed in order to kill the escaped subjects and preventing a national emergency from happening
Jin, is a scientist that was heavily involved in the creation of the Amazon Cells and when that incident happened, took it upon himself to kill the monsters hes created by injecting amazon cells to himself and creating the amazon drivers, becoming Amazon Alpha (the red one)
Haruka on the other hand, was created from the cells of the president of Nozoma Pharma (the woman) and was vat-grown into existence, for 2 years he was observed by the corporation besically becoming a human lab rat (hence why he never had any memories of his childhood or aything for the past 2 years). He becomes curious of what would happen if he rejects the inhibiting drug so he stopped taking it, resulting to his amazon cells activating for the first time and gaining his natural form. After Nanaha convinces him to have a purpose in life, he takes the other driver and becomes Amazon Omega

Ironically, the jingles for the two are polar opposites to their nature but acts as a foreshadowing on what they end up as
Jin having the Wild jingle fights in a calm, collective manner, developing a fighting style that is more strategic and more incidentally focuses on the weaknesses of the enemy he faces. After the tlaloc incident, hes driven to insanity and fighting the amazons with hatred and vigor, becoming more wild and cannibalistic.
Haruka on the other hand, had a more wild fighting style and relies to his wild instinct, overwelhming his enemies with seer brutality and strength. After the tlatoc incident he becomes more calm and collected, even when he fights with wild instinct at hand, he has more control of his actions and strikes unlike in the previous episodes

And the reason why they are hunted down is due to their need ro consume human flesh. the protagonist of this series is a domesticated amazon who throughout the seasons 1-2 and the movie he triew suppress the urge to eat humans. The season 2 protagonist however is a lot worst though cause unlike the previous Amazon's he is unconsciously turnig everyone into amazons.

Now, AmazonS is the remake-ish of the original Amazon serie, which was campy and cheesy, but brutal as hell, one of the finishers was litterally gnawing and tering open the jugular of the MoW.
Lore in an overly compressed manner, a scientist-medical researcher group that isn't evil-evil, but is still completelly foul, developed this procedure that mutates human to give them regenerative powers. This gives them an unending hunger and a need for eating meat.
These new human being, called amazons, can freely transform, and are tracks with a circlet on their arm, which inject them with a suppressant but the tracker only goes off when the suppressant runs out. The combination of the suppressant running out, and the fact they can fully regenerate from the door of death with a couple of rottiserie chickens (litterally) makes them VERY dangerous fornthe population
One of the doctor, the red Amazon, Alpha, decided that he will kill all of his creation, and made the belt, which controlls, directs and upgrades the transformation.
The green one is Omega, and he's also able to use the belt function to transform the metal and salta in one's body into weapons (that's why it was already bloody). In the second season he get's upgraded with the Neo belt, which allows him to get the blade from his gauntlet for less persona detriment.
The white one is Sigma, previusly a member of the anti-amazon squad, KiA but recovered before his corpse could be eaten, and somewhat brought back to life with the use of the evil scientist reseaches
The blue one is the second season protagonist, Neo, his story is one of being doomed. He doesn't have a blade, but rather a rivet gun, and can bend unshot one into hooks.
The last one in darker color is NeoAlpha, and yes, that's a minigun with a bayonet-mounted chainsaw. That should tell you all about the guy
An often lost details of the serie, is that season 1 monsters are all insect, arachnids and marine artropods, with the exception of the monitor-lizard based protagonists and the one friendly amazon based on a mole, while season 2, for lore reasons, has the monster use various animal as base

These Amazon Riders are not the suit, their body are the one that turns into a "suit". Basically most showa riders and heisei rider such as Kamen rider Kamen Rider 1, Kamen Rider 2, V3, Stronger, Amazon (1974), Agito, Kamen Rider Black, Kamen rider Black-RX, Shin-Agito, J, Zo, Hibiki (which is an Oni) are also their own bodies that transformed, yup, their transformed form were not a suit.
Different than modern kamen riders series like Ryuki, Kabuto, Decade, Double, Zero one, etc that are humans using armored suit.
Also, Meanwhile there is Kamen Rider Faiz (555) who can use Faiz Driver to use Kamen rider Faiz armored suit because he was actually a monster which was suitable for the suit (some humans who forcing to wear it would died after).
P.S : Kamen Rider Amazons (2016-2017) is a retelling series from showa era Kamen Rider Amazon (1974) which was one of the most violent tv shows at the time and dark. (well, to be fair old Kamen rider titles stories usually always dark, despite the corny looks of appearances, but at the time those appearances works)
