The idea of being able to edit a video and then ask for something like "ocean wave with a green screen background" and then easily composite it without needing to do fluid sims or purchasing stock footage is an absolute game changer
8:50 is the holy grail until then we’re in the a.i. 1.0 era
I await a Divinci Resolve studio response. I try to keep away from the expense of the Adobe tool kit. Judging by what Adobe has done I would also expect something similar for music DAWS, Steinberg Cubase etc Interesting times ahead.
resolve has added many actually useful ai tools in V19, none of this gimmicks
What if Adobe negotiated an exclusive deal with OpenAI for Sora? Pure speculation of course but this might explain why they just started integrating other tools out of nowhere after avoiding this approach until now.
@@rano12321thanks for adding to the discussion but how is video inpainting and broll generation in the timeline a gimmick? would literally save us an hour or two on every yt video we make
@@aiadvantage Surprisingly Yes it could be, Adobe does like to ring-fence everything. But as your channel points out these are very early days, and there are a lot more surprises to come from within the visual audio sector. Divinci Resolve Studio (DRS) is a one-payment-for-life that includes all the ongoing updates. Their model works well as the company seems to rely on sales of hardware which could/will be eroded by Ai tools over time. On reflection DRS Not having a subscription model in place may harm them?. But if they can integrate these tools Sora, Runway etc based on customers' accessing via their own licenses otherwise as you pointed out "tools out of nowhere after avoiding this approach until now." Adobe may have stolen a march or have they seen the writing on the wall?
@@aiadvantage As you said "integrating other tools out of nowhere after avoiding this approach until now." is either an excellent first move or a fear for their future.
Excellent video. Lots of great info. Thank you!
This is actually the direction that I hope AI video will go. Instead of entire video generation, give tools to quickly and cost effectively modify footage. That combination of human intervention and fast generation would produce the best results. And keep people in the industry working.
adobe as a a.i. channel hub looks more intriguing than microsoft’s interfaces/current offerings. i haven’t been moved enough to create a new microsoft account thus far
This is going to be so interesting! We'd love to see how this collaboration helps Adobe users!
Wonder what DaVinci will say in response
I AM excited but…I do question what level of Sora we will actually get access to. Will Sora be relegated to b-shots for consumers while Adobe’s Firefly for more extensive generation. I might be editing this comment once I’m done watching this video but also I am assuming you will also need a subscription to Pika/ Sora/ Runway? Price is adding up 💰💰💰 (but possibly worth it). I’ve got way too many subscriptions.
You really have effective insights, Igor. 👍👌💥
Open AI seems to be planning to partner with everyone.
This gonna be insane
They need to incorporate into Adobe AfterEffects
The only issue with is Adobe and censorship. I tried to get it to make a fist on my characters hand. It was against their guidelines. This stuff needs to be open source.
Is it also available in After Effects?
I would assume so but they didn't mention it.
Both corps and govs are in bed together. Decentralized OpenSource AGI is our only chance

Mind blown and scatterd over the floor.
I’m thinking about the implications of video inpainting for films all day. One of the hardest parts for indie filmmakers is set design and props. Does this mean the default way for sets and props that only appear once will be genAI? It’s turning one of the biggest expensed into a free feature. How crazy is that.
@@aiadvantage It brings video editing, film making, indie musicians for their video clips so many tools easy to understand without a learning wall. How many artist are there that don't have the resources to express themselfs or didn't have the oportunity to do it before AI? This is the start of a new era, just like what video did to internet when it started. Soon everyone will be able to share their story without intermediaries.
i mean how's anyone is surprised, their whole photoshop ai is based on dalle 2 anyways
Photoshop only uses adobe firefly
oh so they are gonna intigrate sora at some point interesting
Marvel Movies showed us that bad CGI and animation doesn't stop Movies from making money.
Fortunately at the current growing rhythm AI tools are taking, by the time adobe is able to make a rushed version with sora integration that works plenty of bugs and glitches the open source tools will be WAAAAAY ahead of sora. So despite yutubers spreading their marketing campaigns their are not going to thrive.
Still I hate adobe for so many reasons.
I can't stand it either it's too damn cumbersome I learn something too much later I forget it and gotta learn it again However it's still effective Maybe canva will step their game up
@@Kelvinapplegate over 20k spent on Adobe products and services leading to their going subscriptions model. No support or upgrades for desktop versions.
I was with them since version 1.0 when they used to crash so often left right and center.
I don't regret going elsewhere.
I know right? This is such a big move on their part. I switched to Davinci Resolve Studio, but now I have an even bigger FOMO than I had with Photoshop generative fill. Seems like I will have to sub 🫣

Please Davinici... your turn!
