Loved the breakdown of your plan. It’s nice to grab ideas from how others do things.

We school whenever we aren’t travelling. Weekends are off for us!!! We are taking a break to settle and enjoy our new location!!! I’ve never made a lesson overview as I know they will be broken!!! I see choosing curriculum as a year plan and whenever that will be done is ok!!! We found that once we hit multiplication we slowed down a lot!!! We love TGTB for reading as well!!! We use apps for reading as well!!! I love the way you are teaching letters!!!

That’s awesome! Sounds like you’ve got a good thing going in your homeschool! Keep it up!

Sounds like you have a good system of mapping things out. I love hearing how different people plan and prep. There's always some little/big nugget to glean. I like your idea of doing lessons Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Im toying with the idea of doing something similar. Thanks for sharing!

Usually hearing how others do it helps me too so that’s why I thought I’d share! Glad you got a little something from my video ☺️

Would you please do a video or even tell me how and where (like a tote or bookshelf, etc) you are organizing your curriculum, in your new space; especially your Ambleside books and resources? I'm trying to find inspiration. 🙂

Absolutely! I’ll do both for ya! Mostly I do our AO readings in our morning basket, so the associated books are just held there (literally in basket) And a lot of the books are on my kindle so that saves a ton of space. And yeah, everything else is just in a book case. I do plan to do a new homeschool space tour so you can actually see everything but it’s pretty much all over the place lol

@@sharayahmauricehomeschools Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to that video! It always intriguing to see how people creatively use their space for homeschool resources.

You are hilarious! "I like to make a plan so I can break it" sounds like me. I am a planner but I am also a free spirit. We live in the Pacific Northwest so if it's sunny, "school" is out and we are outside exploring.
I do think your video was very helpful. It is nice to see how other educators plan and I got some helpful tips. I like how you break it up for your kiddos so it's not a huge workload. I am going to work on breaking it up more for my daughter. Also, I can't wait to see how you decorate your new filming space. Thank you for sharing!

I’m not sure what you are asking for… in this video I just wrote our weekly schedule on a sheet of paper, nothing fancy!

It is so tempting to get new items when they come out due to the excitement! I had to hold back myself lol. We decided to switch to TGTB this year so I was like do I buy what they have now? Do I wait for the new one? Then they had a half off sale on the old ones and I totally jumped on that.

Yeah! My thinking was like well if it’s worked out for me already, no need to fix what ain’t broke, right?! Definitely save yourself the money too! Sounds like a smart move in my opinion
