@@Beautifulmeandyou hello. I used all materials you suggested. But it's not cutting through. What settings are you using? It's a brand new blade. Any help would be great. Thank you Update I got it finally to cut through but after I bend them in half the laminate on the inside is coming apart. I'm just struggling 🥴🤦♀️
What a lovely video and gorgeous set of Magnetic Bookmarks! I Pray GOD continue to bless your business and this Channel and give you increase🙏🏽 in JESUS name ❤🇬🇧
This was by far the BEST tutorial on magnetic bookmarks...so thorough and easy to follow. I was a little confused by why you run the already laminated bookmarks back through when folded but when I did it, WOW what a difference. They stay folded and the magnet closes so much better! Thanks so much for this tutorial!!
😉 This has got to be one of the most thorough ‘how-to’ videos out there! You make me want to do this…I’d just need to buy all the needed items, figure out the Cricut cut settings, and buy a new printer (because mine is crappy) 😂. You are a great teacher! Thanks for sharing…happy to be a new subscriber!
I have the little white poodle dog and it makes me smile every time I open my budget planner! It looks so much like our sweet Oliver we lost last year. Watching this video makes me think I need a Cricut! 😉
This the best speed. Not too much to unnecessary talking but also talking through all the steps including what mistakes can be made x Can you also please show how to make those cards to stick magnets They looked posh ❤ Thanks x
Thank you so much. My mum gave me her machine as she couldn’t figure it out, and I can’t either. But you explain it all so well. This video is so helpful; I subscribed.
Very clear tutorial, thank you so much! You're a teacher to my heart :) Very clever to feed the already laminated bookmarks through the laminator a second time to make the fold!
Can you tell me more about direct-to-paper laminating? How does it work without using a pouch? Is the glossy finish of photo paper a factor in this process? Can I still use semi-gloss photo paper for direct-to-paper laminating?
Love it! I've been looking for a cutter, but im not seeing a link in your description? I'd love to be able to support you by purchasing through your store. ❤
@@Beautifulmeandyou thank you 🥰🥰 I’m so excited to try this again. I did it a while back from a different tutorial but never could get the cut to do right. I appreciate your tutorial a lot! It was concise and informative and now I’m very excited to try this!
I love your instructions you are so detailed and patient. It just hurts my soul a little that you didn’t align the owls and their stripe in canva. lol but you do you! These are amazing.
This was a great video and thank you for making it and showing others like myself how to make bookmarks. I recently purchased a Cricut joy xtra and this will be my second project to make using it. 😊
I’m curious why you did the top (Flipped) image not exactly vertical but a little to the left? Was that coincidence or has that a purpose? The money pot seemed to have that tiny off placed top as well but then the other two made me question whether it is purposely done or not 🙈 So sorry to fuss about it but I’m confused 😅 Very beautiful designs. Might need to get myself a cutting plotter 🤭 I already new US and Europe are different in paper sizes (US has Letter where we have the comparible but slightly different size A4) but was surprised the laminators and -sheets are also different in thickness as well. That 3 or 5 mils is very different than our 80 or 125micron and the like. Apparently the US 3Mils corresponds to the EU 75micron, I saw in the link of these laminator pouches. Learned something new today 😂 Well, with this awesome tutorial I leaned more than just the one thing, easy to follow along and all. Last bit of warning though for the magnets: be aware that they are indeed strong and be very careful that they can’t “jump” together because they will brake sometimes when that happens. Never try to have some them loose or in more than one stack next to one another. I have several broken ones, they were the same size. Looked in the reviews of the link and I saw some mentioning the same problem. So great magnets but don’t let them snap if you can help it
Hi 👋🏾 Celissa thanks foe always sharing with us on how to do these things for ourselves or others.. love a good craft 👌🏾 💜💜💜.. ps. That owl 🦉 is too cute 😍 .. 😉
Thank you for sharing, great video , you should do more tutorials, you are really good explaining how to do things. Plus help others that are trying to figure things out. ❤
Thank you so much for this! I was home sick and your video came up! I have designed sooo many now! Just waiting for supplies to come in. What cut setting did you use to cut through the paper everything else?
Very helpful tutorial. Quick question, what cut setting did you use to cut out the bookmarks. There were several layers between the photo paper, laminate sheet,... so wasn't sure what setting would cut it out completely. Thanks
great tutorial! Thank you. Question: would you just use regular laminating sheets (non-matte) if you had a whole page of the bookmarks you would be writing on? Or do you still use the matte laminate and then cover with the other laminate? Also, when you lined up the images on canva, you went slightly off center on the duplicated images at the top...was that on purpose because it helps line it up when folded? looking forward to trying some of these! Thank you again!
If I was slightly off center that was just human error. 😂 As far as the laminate, I’ve found the Cricut won’t read the guidelines covered in shiny laminate. Some people say draw over the lines with a sharpie or cover the guidelines with matte scotch tape, but I just cover all the magnets, without covering the guidelines with the self laminate sheets. The Cricut is happy and so am I. Try it out though. ♥️
POW! In my mind, all of your tutorials could be converted into passive income courses. You are sensational. Thanks for sharing. 😉
I appreciate that Portia! ♥️♥️♥️
