Capital letters in Spencerian Script:
In this video, I divide the letters that share similar strokes into small groups. In the end, I also write all the letters in alphabetical order.

In the old writing books, the capital letters are different from the "proper" capital letters because they added loopy flourishes (that's how I write the capital letters lol.) I think in the book the author wanted the individual to develop their own flourishes.
