I upgrade my iPhone yearly and I’ve been buying the Caudabe Sheath since the iPhone 6 and can confirm the drop protection is not marketing fluff. With the amount of times I’ve dropped my phone I never had a damaged or scuffed iPhone with this case on. In my opinion it’s the best minimalist case out there.
I hate phone cases so when I need to have one on my phone, I *always* go with a thin case. Slim phone cases give you the best of both worlds. It maintains the sleek size of our iPhone's whilst providing you with *some* scratch and drop protection, too.
I like the look of the Caudabe Sheath but they only sell it on their US website and international shipping is an absolute nightmare. Going to go with the Spigen Mag Armour instead
I’m a big fan of the Pitaka MagEZ, the Fourth one I’m buying, the feel of the soft Aramid fibre is making the grip so confortable and they have now a magsafe magnet built in. Yes they are not as protective as other cases but they are incredible to hold.
I literally just bought the caudabe sheath a few days ago and waiting for it in the mail, with the Black Friday coupon you can get the case for 29-30 dollars, I hope I like it as much as y’all do
Literally was watching the video wondering if you were going to mention Peel, didn't know much about it but the cases looked kind of cool. Guess I won't be getting one lol
Just picked up the Caudabe Sheath for the 13 pro based on your review. You nailed it. Great case. The texture takes some getting used to but I really love it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it on Amazon when I tried to use your link. Great review.
Aaron, it's been like 4 years I've been watching and commenting on your vids, so you know your my boy. But no Mous? I thought we were ride or die for Mous? #mousGANG
That's a solid list! Sheath seems to get most of the praise online but it was disappointing when I heard it's 41g which is a bit heavy for me personally.
At 12:48 the drop safe distance is not 2ft, its 2m (6 ft). Helpful video thank you for going through all this trouble. Your chemistry isn't great but it didn't ruin the video.
I heard your complaint about the price of Peel. And I have a solution. K-DOO air skin case. Same as Peel and TAC but the price is 8-10$… There is version for the 14 series in all the colours. Definitely worth trying. And it’s branded :)
Hey guys! Thank you 4 the great info. I would like to see, if possible, a rating for the cases that flashes out the camera and iphone 13's don't woble when left on the table on it's back. Thxx
I agree with you on the ultra thin cases, I grabbed one from a German brand in the clear version which, according to their website, consists of a mixed material of PP and TPU, thankfully, I paid only about 20 € for this case and a tempered glass screen protector (which was included and which I don't need). I hoped for the TPU material to be not as slippery, but unfortunately, it is indeed slippery and more so because of the thinness of the whole case. Like I said, thankfully they don't charge 50-70 € here. I'm currently rocking the original Apple silicon in red, but I'm still looking for a clear case that's magsafe compatible and doesn't have the ugly white ring on the back.
I've usually used the Otterbox Symmetry case. Has lip protection, tends to be more grippy than Apple's crappy clear case, doesn't have huge areas cut out either, and I haven't had any issues with scratches on the case either.
Do you still get royalties from the affiliate links if I use cookie blockers and more importantly block tracking requests (out of respect for my own privacy) in the links themselves?
Great video as usual! I have to agree with the Caudabe Sheath being the winner. I have been using this case for a few years now and it is hands down the best case made IMO.
I like the carbon fiber cases. I have the later case. But i did notice if i hold my phone sideways while playing games or watching videos. I do lose signal. Wifi and cellular occasionally
Aaron, what Watch band is that?? Is it an orange leather link or something similar? I do love me some slim cases…but I always default to Apple’s “leather” cases (these days the quotes feel necessary). Great grip for MY hands once it’s broken in, and it just works.
Hey, I'm looking or a good tradeoff between thickness and protection for my 13 pro max. Could I ask what your top three ranked are for most thin and protective cases for the iphone 13pro max? 1. being thinnest but still protective (entire besel) 2. Somewhere in the middle 3. thin but more protection?
Awesome job as always! Do you guys or anyone who reads this know of a company who makes clear glass protection for the back of the iPhone? It would be like a screen protector but for the back. I’m trying to keep the original look and “hand feel” of the iPhone 13, instead of covering everything up. I’ve found a few discontinued ones, so I’m left to diy modify a tablet screen protector.
Oh well, my Apple Silicone case that I got 2 months ago is already messed up and I was shopping for a case last night and got the Mous Limitless 4.0 based on your previous case video. Since you are Canadians, is there a way to order the Caudabe Sheat in Canada? Keep up the good work guys!
Based on your reviews and recommendations I have a Grey Caudabe Sheath and a Flo Lab Nano Armour 3 awaiting my iPhone 13 Pro to arrive for installation. Hope they work out!!
I wish they would just make a bumper frame for the iPhone like the 6S. I miss those things. And no on Rhinoshield. That thing is too slippery and bulky. Add something like Dragon Grips on Rhinoshield if you want a better grip.
Can u review Moft's new case n Ohsnap 2.0's case? Ik u guys didn't like their products like how the moft wallet easily detaching off of magaafe cases n how the ohsnap's metal ring is like a bad tattoo. However, I wanted to know if their cases is just as bad or may actually b gud at protecting the phone? They also added some improvements to their products. For moft, they added "stronger magnets" so their wallet is less likely to fall off. If u guys can test that out if it's true for their products n for other 3rd party magsafe accessories? For ohsnap, they made a v2.0 grip which is thinner, supposedly "smaller diameter," n is compatible with other magsafe accessories unlike the v1.0. If u can review their case, can u review their ohsnap 2.0 as well? (Their metal ring on the case is probably still a bad tattoo but perhaps it's "right size" bad tattoo that looks closer to like the magsafe rings on some cases? Since they said the diameter is smaller now n actually made their metal ring on the case to look like magsafe stuff with its "magnet tail" thing.) Oh n apparently, u can switch out the backs too for other designs, so I was wondering if that would ruin the case's ability to protect ur phone, if the back would "snap" off the case when dropped?
Can you recommend a peel-like case for a reasonable price? I had one but as i expectet it broke very easy. But if its only 5 bucks it would make it a good product
Great job with the mass comparisons as always! Ever consider Moment cases? They seem to have stronger then usual MagSafe magnets, and have a standard, rugged, and clear versions.
I have the Moment ThinCase and it’s fantastic. I also have most of the top cases from the video plus the Mous Limitless 4.0 and the Moment ThinCase beats them all.
Have you reviewed car mounts that use Magsafe but don't charge? I just upgraded to the iPhone 13 and have CarPlay in my car, it doesn't do wireless CarPlay so I have to plug my phone into the car.
12:03 I bought the Mous limitless 4.0 because of your videos so please keep saying it’s the best case ever : ) I’m very happy with it and the « hand feel » is awesome with the carbon model. ( I bought a SCF case and now I don’t use it anymore haha)
Hi! I own both of these cases and I tend to use my limitless 4 more since it has MagSafe. But I love the solidsuit and feel like it’s equally as protective, and has way more designs to choose from, as well as swappable colored buttons. I think rhino shield is probably the best value.
Do you guys know if the Patika case fits iPhone 13 pro? on the Pitaka website, it shows the 13 pro as "coming soon". Is the one you have in your video for the Iphone 13 and just used on the pro?
Thumbs up for the Dos Equis. Also because she’s super gorgeous!
I upgrade my iPhone yearly and I’ve been buying the Caudabe Sheath since the iPhone 6 and can confirm the drop protection is not marketing fluff. I have the caudabe for the 12 mini, but i wish it were mag safe. UGH
@@Cardmonger Yeah I hear you, unfortunately the 12 mini gets the least love from aftermarket manufacturers, still an awesome case though.
I have sheath case iPhone pro max 13 is the best
I’m presuming you had the sheath for the iPhone 12 can you tell me if the texture would be the same for the 12 and 13?
@@Paa375 Yes I did and yes the texture is exactly the same.
I`m using the Spigen Air skin case. It fits perfectly and feels very good in the hand. The design is close to the Lucid clear case and costs only 12$.
Your dedication to the videos are why y’all are my favorite UA-camrs
3:39 - 3:46 editing error?, great video btw, yall are really entertaining
For a second there I thought it was a T Mobile Warning
I was curious too cause I noticed the same thing! 😳
number 1 is numbered 10 in the video
val: totally agree with you on how aaron mispronounce things like "accessory", "access"... :) lol
A review like this of slim cases was much needed
Really cool to see Val come out of her shell as time goes on
Caudabe Sheath is the best! I had one on my iPhone 8 and now on 13 Pro. Perfect case.
I hate phone cases so when I need to have one on my phone, I *always* go with a thin case.
Slim phone cases give you the best of both worlds. It maintains the sleek size of our iPhone's whilst providing you with *some* scratch and drop protection, too.
10:26 that’s why it’s called Later case
I love waking up with a slight hangover and seeing Val on Sunday morning like a bowl of menudo .
I like the look of the Caudabe Sheath but they only sell it on their US website and international shipping is an absolute nightmare. Going to go with the Spigen Mag Armour instead
Totally agree with you, there international shipping is really awful
I’m a big fan of the Pitaka MagEZ, the Fourth one I’m buying, the feel of the soft Aramid fibre is making the grip so confortable and they have now a magsafe magnet built in. Yes they are not as protective as other cases but they are incredible to hold.
Me too, it reuduces the chances that you drop your phone.PITAKA case is amazing!
Caudabe sheath rules. It’s incredible.
I literally just bought the caudabe sheath a few days ago and waiting for it in the mail, with the Black Friday coupon you can get the case for 29-30 dollars, I hope I like it as much as y’all do
I’ve been using the Sheath since the iPhone XS era and I gotta say now I just got my 13 and am still using it. It’s incredible.
My peel case is being delivered today as I watch this video 😂😂😂
The Mous Limitless 4.0 comment got me. Well played.
Can you please do a video on the supcase ub edge case pleas
Finally. I have been waiting on this one.
Please test the hoda sapphire screen protector. I’d like to know if it’s real sapphire.
Try look into Air Jacket Power Support. Thin clear case.
Great video as always. Love the woobie Val is wearing.
Literally was watching the video wondering if you were going to mention Peel, didn't know much about it but the cases looked kind of cool. Guess I won't be getting one lol
You both totally kick ass!!
I appreciate this level of case nerdiness 👌🏾
Saw Caseology on the list and was wondering if their Nano Pop line was also good cuz I love the colors with them? Thanks!
Why does this channel not get more views! Guys you need to do a collab with a bigger channel

same, not on Amazon.
Just got the sheath I find the texture slippery does it get better

That's a solid list! Sheath seems to get most of the praise online but it was disappointing when I heard it's 41g which is a bit heavy for me personally.
Nice sharing 😍👍👌🙏
Very nice video!! Can you tell me if the texture on the Caseology Vault is the same as on the Caudabe Sheath?
Top 10 cases for AirPods 3? 🙏🏼
I like how the iphone magically appeared in the skyfall clear case as you slammed it on the table face down.

I’m someone who usually buy 4-6 case and swap them out depending the occasion but I always find myself going back to the caudabe sheath
awesome #1 choice, like Val aid, just a simple no frills case that's actually quality.
disappointed though that the Spigen Thin Fit did not make the list. IMO, that is one of the best ones.
Spite cases
No review on the Speck Presido2 grip hard shell case? I've only ever bought this case the past 2 years in a row now. I don't think I'd ever switch.
Aaron, what Watch band is that?? Is it an orange leather link or something similar?
I do love me some slim cases…but I always default to Apple’s “leather” cases (these days the quotes feel necessary). Great grip for MY hands once it’s broken in, and it just works.
Thanks for the recommendation. Have a sheath on order.
Love the video! I know you guys don't like the ohsnap grip, but I was wondering if you knew about the ohsnap 2.0 and were going to review it?
I "totallee" agree

Mous Limitless 4.0. I have it on my 13 pro max and it’s not too thick at all, plus top notch protection.
Thanks, guys! Ordering the sheath right now
I’m right there with you, Aaron. Does the girth upset Val?
I always watch your videos; I bought the Caudabe Sheat case, but I am unsure if I purchased it through your link.🙈
are you gonna review dbrands new leather skins?
What beer was she drinking? Collective Arts?
3:40 T?
I have some spigen cases I’m surprised you guys never cover them they’re great and thin

It would be great if you could weight the cases, just so we know how much weight they add to the already heavy brick iPhone 13 pro max is. :)
Jam Up the Mash, nice! Cheers!

Thanks. I just put the limitless 4.0 on my mini! Love it
i have the caudabe very slipry and not gripable i recommend rather Evo Tactile for Apple iPhone from tech 21 slim and gripy and 10 ft fall protection
