I think that's why they call it naked. They stick with the nude type of concept, even though those colors clearly aren't nude. lol
Victoria Victoria Yeh but they dont need to have the same shape and design palettes always be called naked, this is not naked, so why not just call it cherry and be done with it, for me i am so over naked and nude and neutral, give me colour lol, and please stop calling things naked when they are not naked to anyone

Victoria Victoria I actually agree with you. Naked 3 is not trully naked but it's wearable rosy tones, now it's wearable more cherry tones. I also never think of true red when think of cherry:D

Welll... I have these shades a few times over! All that hoopla for another monochromatic color story.

It’s a pretty palette but I already have all these colors in a large palette I customized with eyeshadows from Colourpop and ABH.
These colors look to me like what I had hoped the Naked 3 would be. I don't hear many people expressing interest in this palette, maybe a result of the market just being over saturated with eyeshadow palettes, but I think these shades would be perfect for my particular skin tone and am thinking about getting it. Although I think it is probably true that not many looks can be done with these fairly similar colors, the truth is I don't do that many different looks so maybe it would work just fine.
It’s a very pretty look, but for me the most inspiring part of the palette is the packaging. It just doesn’t look like it will produce enough looks to make it worth $49.

Beautiful eye look! Before I started watching your videos, I would have never thought to use reds and pinks in eye shadows. I am truly amazed how much I really like them now. I know people keep saying this isn’t *cherry* cherry but it really comes through on the eyes as a whole look. It’s like a juicy cherry with a ray of sun cast on it. I too wish there were some darker tones, but as someone with hooded eyes, I’m imagining if I were to get this, the shades would be ideal for me. I’m not yet sure whether I wish to get this or not, but I have a lot of time before the palette hits the stores in Middle East. UD Naked 3 is my first ever palette, and I understand how people don’t think it’s the best formula on earth, but it’s honestly so easy to work with, I feel I need a warmer pink palette that will do the work for me when I’m in rush and don’t have the time to finesse greens -speaking of which, how cool would it be if there were a green or two in the Cherry palette to complement the reds!

The look you put together using this is really beautiful! As for the first impression I got seeing this palette used for the first time, the shades feel very springtime or something, Idk? I also am very much more drawn towards the BTR palette for its formula as well as all the different directions I can take it colorwise. I’m definitely picking this one up. Its much more pigmented than their original naked palettes. I think it’s a good simple everyday palette.
I love the look you did and personally I'm excited to get this palette! When I think of the naked palettes I think naked refers to more sheered out colors which when I want a more diluted softer look I go to these.
Those berry shades look so lovely on you! I would have definitely grabbed Naked Cherry if it came out years ago, but right now we have so many palettes coming out.

I think my boyfriend might get this for my birthday lol I'm for it. The first gift he got me was Naked 3, my first high end palette. He was very inquisitive when I showed it to him lol so I think it's where hes going with it 😊
@Kooky katt the deeper shades of the naked 3 palette are some of the more fun shades for me, they seem to be more pigmented. I love to layer Liar over a pink cream eyeshadow and it brings out the pink tone of the shade better. Mugshot also can look very pretty over a taupe cream base. Just a few ideas, I also started with the naked 3 as my first expensive palette. 😊
This is one of those palettes I enjoy just staring at it's so pretty! Love the look! I may pick this up. I have the venus xl so I don't really need it, but I want it.

thanks for mentioning the formula difference between born to run and the naked palette.
This reminds me so much of the naked 3 with pops of red and a brown. I will probably buy it during one of the sales, I will probably not get much use out of it. I won't pay full price for this because I will only buy it just out of the soft spot I have for UD naked palettes.
Glad you mentioned the Born to Run palette, I brought it on sale and can't wait to play with it. I had been looking forward to the Cherry palette but I don't think the palette has enough color variation. I love pinks,mauve and reds but I prefer more intensity. I love Urban Decay Naked palettes and may get this later but so far I'm not impressed. They missed the mark on this one playing it safe. Thanks for the prompt review, nice eye look!

This is the only UD palette I've ever even thought of buying. Obviously if you see my profile photo, I love the Burgundy type shades, as well as pinks, I'm not sure if I'LL buy it for myself. But I put it on my Christmas wish list for Santa. 🎅😜
I almost pulled the trigger on UD but I think I want to wait until it comes to Sephora or Ulta. So glad this is permanent. Too many palettes coming out right now! I’ll be al the Mall of America this weekend and I’m excited to see the new Ulta store and I saw Riley Rose but it’s not open yet. I was so bummed lol. I told my hubs I was bummed about a store not being there he goes let me guess a makeup store? 🤣.
Now that I actually seen the description of the palette, "neutrals with a cherry hue" it makes more sense, cause before I was thinking: Cherry?! Where?! It looks really nice, but I was really expecting more from this. Like actual reds, pink and deep berry tones and way more vibrant and pigmented shades. It is Naked palette after all.

Naked palettes, and usually stay away from too many “reddish colors”, but I really like it. Love the two deepest colors.
I keep watching this video 3x to see if I need it!! Your blending skills are so on point, you could make anything look good especially with all the eye space!! I love love your look and I am trying to be good about not buying every single palette, maybe Born to Run is better to get if it goes on sale lol! When I saw this palette it compared in colors to the Charlotte Tilbury palette which I want but didn't know if it was worth the $75 price tag but after this review I prefer to pay the price of convenience . Shades are really beautiful. From your review it sounds like a great palette actually for those who likes some color but wants wearable shades, which are easy to work with. Sometimes too pigmented eyeshadows are harder to blend and sometimes when they are easy to blend they are just too intense to wear as everyday makeup. Not that you can't wear intense color everyday, just it's not everyone's cup of tea. For example I like to wear burgundy and I have several eyeshadows, some look calm and super wearable any time of the day, any occasion and at the same time I have burgundy from colourpop which is super intense and bright which I don't wear as often. :)

Did really like this when I first saw it but I went for the Charlotte Tilbury Stars in Your Eyes Palette instead and that is an absolute dreammmm! I don’t vibe with urban decay at all but I am a full on CT obsessive so I know what to expect with her eyeshadows 💕
Thanks for the great review Mel! While I love the Naked Palette concept I have to say I feel Naked Heat and now Naked Cherry put the concept to a stretch. I think 8 shades would do as usually 2-3 pairs look nearly identical once on the lid. Also the shimmers have definitely lost some luster since Half Baked and pals were released. I love the Born To Run palette though - definitely one of my highlights of 2018 ❤️

I had my eye on this one since it leaked out since I don't have red-pinky shades. I bought it and I love it! I am going to recreate the look you did, these tones make my green eyes pop. :) I agree with you on the formula though, but i don't mind building up. For some reason the UD palettes have amazing staying power on my eyelids.

Hi Mel I enjoyed this video on the Urban Decay Teri pallat it was very pigmented and you had a little trouble with the liner but I was thinking you were going to go into a deeper color but I'm glad it came out okay anyways I'll see you in the next video love you girl have a blessed day or night

I think it could have been stronger with a deep metallic green, vibrant green, very deep purple reds...more drama essentially...

You’re one of the only people whose reviews I really trust. Do you think the Huda Ruby Palette would be a better option for red and pink shadows than this one?
You always make everything look great! I find the shadows from Urban Decay Naked palettes I have don't last long on my eyes but I always get sucked in. In Canada we can save up on points at our drug store chain (Shoppers Drug Mart) and get it free! I'll be saving mine for the Born to Run palette. Thanks for making my decision for me!
