It's about time urban decay did something different from their usual routine! Great to see an improved formula too! Finally! I was beginning to wonder about them....
rian nodland Agreed! I never had an UD palette even tho I knew people loved them but when the Smokey one went on sale for half off at Sephora's first Weekly Wow, I picked it up. I thought it was OK but I wasn't crazy about it and I couldn't think why people raved about the Naked line. Then I heard more and more people say it was one of the first higher end palettes and now that every other brand has released a million eyeshadow palettes, there are more and better options. I'm glad UD has now seemingly stepped up their game because their Naked line wasn't selling anymore...hence why they are always on sale!
Urban Decay shadows are some of my favorites, I kept the Book of Shadows Vol II for so long, it was hard to throw it away because it was so old 😂 but I still cherish my Naked 3 the rosy tones are so lovely. This one looks like a fab palette as well, I will have to go see it in person when it comes out. Thanks for the review ❤️
The only recent Urban Decay palette I've been interested in buying. It's funny you mentioned the makeupshalya palette. Stephanie from Babsbeauty said the same thing in her video yesterday when using it. There really is a resemblance between the 2. Your eye look is gorgeous!!

I don't really agree, yes the tones are the same but the colours themselves are quite different... and you get a lot more matte shades, and deeper purple shimmer

Such a lovely eyeshadow look you created with this palette. I have the MakeupShayla X Colorpop palette and I don’t think I would need to purchase or own both, but the pigmentation appears to be very nice with the Urban Decay palette.
I bought this one too and I've been playing around with it and really do love it! I didn't get as much fall out though and had to wet the shadows for intensity but I really feel the same way as you! I highly recommend it - especially as I too wasn't going to get it nor did I have many expectations for it either lol! xx

I can't think of anything else that has been recently released that I want more. I am waiting on it to arrive at Ulta or Sephora. No I don't have Shayla's palette. I saw Andrea Renee's review between Makeup Shayla's palette and the Huda Rose Gold Palette. Shayla definitely has several shades that are the same. Since I don't have either l am going to get the Urban Decay one.

I bought this palette because of your video, and I’m grateful for it! I felt similarly to you about UD’s recent releases, but this one looks to be a home run. The range of potential looks is vast, and they’re mostly newer shades (see ya later, Midnight Cowboy).

I love UD shadows, I don’t think I’ve ever met one I haven’t liked. Their latest palettes have been pretty cheap looking and boring so I have stayed away from them, but this one looks like a winner, I’m def going to pick this one up!
I don't normally love their shadows either. There are so many better brands out there. I've bought them in the past and they just end up getting thrown away. I may try this though, based on your recommendation. The colors seem really nice.

I think I get distracted by the internal packaging and have a hard time seeing palettes for just the colors, especially when the pans are colored (black, gold,etc) or their is a crazy or loud background (Shaylaa or Blood Sugar). I love UD shadows, I don’t think I’ve ever met one I haven’t liked. Their latest palettes have been pretty cheap looking and boring so I have stayed away from them, but this one looks like a winner, I’m def going to pick this one up!

I don't normally love their shadows either. There are so many better brands out there. I've bought them in the past and they just end up getting thrown away. I may try this though, based on your recommendation. The colors seem really nice.
I just wanted to say that I adore your personality haha Thanks for this video! I think I get distracted by the internal packaging and have a hard time seeing palettes for just the colors, especially when the pans are colored (black, gold,etc) or their is a crazy or loud background (Shaylaa or Blood Sugar). Just seeing this video helps me understand the palette more💜💙
