If you didn't get trolled in Forest 2 by that enemy, I'm sure your time would've been in the low 38:40's or high 30's. Still it was an amazing run and you finished it off in style!
Thank you! it was a great run in the end. There is still so much time to save and I don't doubt a sub 38:20 could be done. The grind is so not worth it though, I get bored to death resetting on Mines and when I fail the Forest 4 clip. And even then the RNG has to line up near perfectly. Still happy with this run.
@@smith3527 That's one of the biggest reasons I don't speedrun myself. The resetting and praying for things to align perfectly... man, that's tough stuff to endure just to get a PB, or even WR. But it's always fun to see someone do a run of a more obscure game!
I see you found some fun glitches to help you out. I'll give you another one... You can blackscreen Blackthorne (crash it) by clicking the select button when you walk into another screen. This will probably not help you get faster runs. But I see in the comments you're sick of them, anyway... This game remains the GOAT, even after almost 30 years. I'd love to make an upgraded version of it, with custom level builder.
