The documentation states 12.6 in. I have not tested that out yet though.
Nice that Vevor sent you one after I was just telling you how much I love mine. I will never go back to "regular" vacuum sealing again and mine can stay on the shelf. I am so HAPPY with this Vevor Chamber Vac as I can tell you are as well. Certainly one of the better investments I've make in a long time! The price point won't break the bank like the other brands may tend to do. The machine is a little heavy but it's way worth what the machine can do. Simple to use and your food is perfectly sealed 🙂I just used mine about a half hour ago vacuum sealing some meat I picked up discounted as the "manager's special" You can find some good deals at the grocery store like that 👍
Hey Scott!! Yeah I'm totally digging this machine. So much better than a regular vacuum sealing device. That's a great idea to find manager specials and stock up. It's also nice to hear from another person who bought one and is enjoying it as well. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comment.
@@TheFoodExperience I've had mine 2 weeks and can't find enough to seal with it lol. Enjoy my friend 🙂
does it work well on jars? I got a food saver one a while ago but getting it to seal my jars is annoying. It doesn't always work even after several tries. I probably don't need a $300 machine for what I do with it but I'd use it more if it was less annoying and more relaible
That is a nice vac sealer, Andy! I really like how the liquid stayed in the bag!!!👍👍👍
Hey Kevin! Yeah that is one of the biggest things that I liked as well. Such an awesome vac sealer.
I really enjoyed watching all the different foods you demonstrated. Thankyou. I really want a chamber vac sealer. I just got to convince my wife.
Thank you so much! Let her know that you'll be saving a lot of money by saving food and food that is frozen and vacuum packed stays fresher & lasts longer in the freezer.
Now that looks like the coolest one I have ever seen yet!
What's the largest size bag you can use in the Vevor DZ-260C
dual seal is for the larger units with opposing seal bars on either side. DZ400 and up models. You only have 1 seal bar. They use same parts across multiple product lines for cost savings, biggest difference is multiple seal bars and larger vacuum pumps in bigger models.
I need this in my life. Thanks for sharing
You are very welcome. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Great video thanks . You do need to check the oil regularly especially if youre sealing liquids in it because the water vapour in liquids needs to go somewhere when you vacuum and unless you have a gas ballast valve on it, ( which is highly unlikely) it will over time transfuse in to the oil and turn it to a milky emulsion state which you do not want at all.
I would recommend checking at least every 3 months if youre using it regularly ( daily) , it also uses oil so occasionally it needs topping up or changing, dont assume that when you screw that door back on there's nothing more to do, you should change the oil at least once a year if youre using it regularly or if the oil changes colour or appearance.
Also because this is from Vevor ( Chinese made ) while the back door is off check the earth connection is solid. Its obvious where it is as the socket on the side has an earth terminal and somewhere from the chassis inside you should see a lead going to that point on the plug socket.
@@spiritburners Thank you so much for tuning in and for your very informative comment. Good information for sure. Thank you!
You can order thumb screws from other online sources for the rear cover to make maintanance easier.
good idea
It won’t suck any liquid out cause it doesn’t sick the air out of the bag. It takes air out of the chamber. Those are way better! Great review 🤘🏼
Really is a great process. Thank you so very much for your comment and for tuning in!
I like how it does the chicken amazing
I ordered one yesterday from eBay for 311 dollars shipped should be here Tuesday maybe 🤞🏻
Right on! Hope it works well for you.
Thanks for this. It helps a lot to get to know the product. Can we also seal 3 small bags at the same time?
You are very welcome. I've never tried to seal more than one bag at a time. That's a very good question. I'll try to experiment with that and get back to you shortly.
@@TheFoodExperience Thank you so much for your quick response.
@@victoriamoon You are very welcome. I just tried the test with two of my small bags side by side. They are approximately 5.75 in in width. I could fit two of them side by side in this machine. It definitely sealed both of them properly at the same time.
@@TheFoodExperience Thank you so much again 😊
@@TheFoodExperience You can seal two. Never tried three. There are only two hold-down sliders.
Thank you for an excellent video.
You are very welcome!
Awesome!!!
the roll bags do seal just fine
I'll have to try it again. I tried it twice and it really didn't work for me.
I have a question. Why won't the external vac bags (the food saver type) not work with this also? I have a number of the precut high quality ones with the one side having the texture. I have seen other brands of chamber vacs that say they will work with both, but of course the chamber vac style bags are much less expensive. I'm talking about just using up what's left of the old foodsaver style? Will they not work?
The type of material is different and they normally have a certain texture to them and the bags for the chamber vac are completely smooth.
they will work
@CarpCommander regular vacuum sealer bags definitely will not work. I tried two different types of them. They cannot have the texture that regular vacuum sealer bags have.
@@TheFoodExperience I've used FoodSaver and generics in the Vevor and they work perfectly. Did it twice today. However, you have to seal one end before filling and vacuuming. Cut the bag, place one end over the sealer. Set the vacuum time to 5 seconds and go. Then fill the bag and proceed the same as with chamber sealer bags.
@@PaulCotterCanada The only kind I have tried has had a texture to it. It would not seal those bags at all. At least that's my experience. Perhaps the bags you were using were smooth.
Does it seal Mylar bags? Some machines don't.
Yes
How many consecutive seals can you do?
I don't think there is a limit. So far I've done six back to back. No issues at all. Great performing device.
I HAVE USED FOODSAVER BAGS WITH MY CHAMBER VAC THEY WORK JUST FINE
Thanks for reporting in I did try generic bags and they definitely did not work. I tried it twice. Will try again.
@@TheFoodExperience They worked for me ... until I used the back end of an old roll. They was useless
@PaulCotterCanada I have two new rolls that work with my traditional vacuum sealer machine. I tried again and they definitely don't work with the chamber vacuum. Fine by me because I still own both machines.
👍👍😎
😎🤙
Nice job but it helped me to run the video faster
