I just think that Carly Simon should remain the "Legend" (which she is, weather she likes it or not) and her kids need to be singing WITH her and she is in the spotlight. Like Frank Sinatra singing with Nancy Sinatra.... Otherwise; Ben should just sing on his own...and sing his own stuff. I love Nancy Sinatra's " These Boots are made for walking'". Come to think of it.....that would be really COOL if Sinatra and Simon would RE-Do that classic!! How fun would that be!
Talk about unintentionally being sexy. She is IT! Those lips...that smile ...those sexy eyes..6 ft slim amazonian frame.. legs up to her neck. Total package...and that is before we even START on her incredible talent and sultry voice. Whew!

But I could listern to her talk about her music, life, anything really She's a Renaissance woman if there ever was one. I can't get enough of her. She's so multi-dimensional, and finally beautiful, and to me captivating. And finally the wonderful songs.
It's inconsistent with the theme of the song to reward the subject of the song You're So Vain. Interviewers aren't thinkers, obviously, or they presume to trap an answer out of her. Neither of which reflects well on the specific interviewer.
'American Idol' Sucks! That and MTV wrecked popular music and pop culture. That's right Carly, all this mainstream pop shit is generic, pedestrian, and sucks! The indie and alternative music scene is where it's at. Check out the 'Freak Folk' peeps like Devendra Banhart, Antony & The Johnsons, Joanna Newsom, and Bat For Lashes, etc. Go there for real, current music.
She and James were together for such a long time..James got into alcohol and drugs...She needed to have a man present in her life including love and he was distant and traveled a lot. How many women has James been with throughout the years and left women taking care of his kids... how many kids does he really have. Unconscionable men.....his music touches so many people...but his personal life ...ugh...another beast altogether.
I really love CarlySimon she is so authentic and I understand why she is being loved by so many, her ex James Taylor was the opposite. She is so much better off without those creeps! Happy that she has met her present physician husband, hope things will go well…..
Carly had a lot of men in her life yet none were "creeps" yet guys she connected with by her choice. Sadly there was a worse than just a creep that when she was only seven years old, a family friend in his teens sexually assaulted her. Scared her at an early age.
