I ended my lease on my 2018 S60 and got the 2022 Momentum AWD with the advance package and luxury package. I couldn’t be happier with it. Sticker price was just over $47k. I got a great deal on my lease. I agree about the soft braking, it’s one of the reasons why I opted out of a Volkswagen CC some years ago, but it’s responsive enough. This car has amazing acceleration, responsive steering and a comfortable ride. I love it!
@@apollon755 The Volvo’s brakes are smoother and it has better pickup. The interior is comparable. The 2022 Volvo S60 is a partial hybrid and I got great gas mileage from the beginning.
Im getting one of those, switching from 3 series Bemer. Half of the options this car has you cant even get with 3 series... And this one is actually made in USA, and not Mexico like 3 series.
I just transferred from selling Mazda to Volvo. Your videos have always helped me with talking points to address with customers and provide better training than most mfg do. Thanks mate!
Oh buddy I'm excited about this one! Should've came on down to Stadel Motors! I do my reviews there where I work and I'd probably end up running into ya cause I work there!
Funny how Acura catches flack for the TLX being heavy and this car starts at 3700 and goes up to 4000 pounds as well. You want safety systems they add weight. Add AWD that adds more.
Another great car review. I have watched a TON of car reviews while researching my next (potential) car and I'm always happy to see when you've reviewed one that I'm interested in. Yours are straightforward and informative. So, if you had to pick... Subaru Legacy XT Touring or the Volvo S60?
It is not laggy in use. In my 22 S60 it starts booting when I open the driver side door I believe, by the time I have my seat belt on it is ready to go. Also if you turn the car off it will not turn of the infotainment before you leave the car. You are welcome for the late answer ;-)
Not true. I worked in a commercial body shop. Quickest way to compare is the weight of the car: 3 series weights 1.5 tons, this car weights 2.2...And it all goes into extra protection metal beams etc. And Audi is just as hopelesly plastic as Toyota.
Unless you're really feeling this as a luxury badge for the money, I don't see a reason to get this over anything else in the segment. However, I am happy to see the turbo and supercharger engine on the previous years being axed. That engine setup ended up being a mechanical nightmare. I would probably opt for a Genesis G70, TLX or non luxury Stinger instead
I was leaning that same direction for a bit. What ultimately won me over was the feeling of the vehicle as an entity. I thought the T-Series engines left the S60 feeling a bit "off". Not right, you know? But with this B5 powertrain combined with a few more small tweaks it feels like a different car. Anyway....just a thought....a man has to get the car that feels right to him. As good as modern vehicles have become we're probably all making the right choice. Happy holidays man.
That engine hasn’t been axed they just added a mild hybrid system to it making the supercharger more of an e charger also my mom currently has a 16 XC90 with the old T6 engine and it’s been super reliable even more so then her old Tacoma that thing had a starting issue and frame rust issues
@@goldpony ofc, we buy 1 for ourselves, 2 for government, 1 for bank if withdraw credit. If engine size 1600-2000cc %180+ %18 they also getting tax from the tax :)
Slow down. A lot of folks’ ears hear a lot slower than you speak. And “wood grain” what? Wood? Plastic. Guacamole? I’ve owned about a gazillion Volvos and a 10.5 cf boot sounds a tad small to me. My other observation having looked at the digital dash is I believe the speedo and tach should be reversed. Otherwise it’s been my experience (especially with Jags with UK dashboards just moved from right to left) that one tends to look slightly right in a left hand drive car. It can lead to lots of explaining to the local gendarmerie.
DO NOT BUY A VOLVO! I am the current owner of a 2019 S60 T6 Inscription and the vehicle has been a complete nightmare. It is plagued with quality issues and has been in the shop more than all my previous cars were combined, I am in my late 30’s. Worse of all, dealing with the Volvo dealership network and Volvo USA has been even a worse experience. Endless circle of taking the vehicle to the shop to have quality issues and defects documented then calling Volvo USA for resolution but receiving no courtesy or care. I bought a $60k piece of crap that I do not even trust to drive more than 30 miles from my house. Asked them to buy it back or forgive my loan, would not. Asked them to give me a replacement vehicle, would not. Even though I have a service record the thickness of a dictionary on a car with 33k miles on it. They do not care about their customers unless they are selling you the car, after that you are on your own!

Very nice review. My only concern is the reliability. Lately not reading good things about Volvo. I do like the Alien detection.😊

I wish one of the models had a V6 engine. I know I've needed that for some steep inclines.
