What if Hollyleaf was a villain but still went by the warrior code.
Right that doesn’t make too much sense, but what if she thinks cats who break the code deserve to be killed? She despises anyone who breaks the warrior code and stays as a medicine cat, poisoning or just murdering cats who she knows have broken the code. Not only do we get Hollyleaf being a villain, but we also get a medicine cat as a villain and Jay gets to be a warrior.
Imagine if Hollyleaf has died in the tunnels and came back during the Dark Forest fight. Jay and Lion are so happy to see their sister, they’re sure that she’s a StarClan cat. But then she runs at them, teeth bared and claws unsheathed, and they realise she’s apart of the Dark Forest, that she was responsible for all the cats that suddenly died, that their sister was never who they thought she was.
Also, Medicine Cats are allowed to go to other Clans in this au. If a Clan is in need of help a Medicine Cat from another Clan can go over and help. Leafpool takes Hollyleaf (or paw) to the other Clans whenever this comes up, and that’s when Hollyleaf begins to kill cats from other Clans.

      Idea:
Brambleclaw died and Firestar somehow detected a good deputy, then leader in her. After the fire, she kills Assfur, bla bla bla. She never goes into the tunnels. She would kill leafpool otherwise. Firestar would forgive Leafpool, and said she was a good cat, and then she was full of rage, and kills him. When she became leader she eventually exiles or kills EVERYONE who broke the code.

Kind of like Light from Death Note if you've seen or heard of it haha. It raises a conversation about morality and judgement which I think is pretty cool, and I really like this idea! Especially since the idea of her jumping at her brothers also echoes Light's actions as he gets corrupted by his previous 'good intentions' and just becomes a murderer like Hollyleaf kinda would. I also love the added detail of Leafpool taking her to the other clans, thinking she's helping where Hollyleaf is slowly picking off cats from other clans aswell. Perhaps it'd end with the clans finding out about Hollyleaf and Leafpool feels awful as she thinks it's her fault cats have been killed and perhaps she and Hollyleaf have a fight and one of them dies or something.

I really like Bluestar as a villian. I have an AU where Leopardfoot's Tigerkit dies along with his siblings (it is unclear whether or not Goosefeather has anything to do with it) and when Bluefur gives birth to a red-brown tabby tom, she names him Tigerkit in honor of her friend's lost son.
Leopardfoot tells Bluestar that she can pursue the deputy position so long as she is as attentive to Tigerkit as a good father would be. Bluefur hastily agrees, and gains the deputy position since Thistleclaw had not mentored a cat yet and she had.
Bluefur becomes more and more distant and Sunstar gives her more responsibility. At first, Leopardfoot tells Tigerpaw that his mother is very busy, and it is natural that he only spend time with her on certain patrols. However, when Tigerpaw impresses his mentor by retrieving a mouse that a young apprentice accidentally threw into the river while playing with it, Bluefur lashes out at her son and bans him from leaving the confines of the camp.
Leopardfoot, furious, confronts the deputy. She then hurls every bitten-back word and angry retort and dirty secret back at Bluefur, and tells her that she has no right to punish a literal child so harshly when she was the one who had an affair with a cat she had no business with.
Tigerpaw overhears this, and when he asks Leopardfoot what she meant, the queen tells him. He nods slowly, and he looks towards Bluefur, but she can not face her son and she instead dismisses them so she can go on an early morning patrol.
Tigerpaw grows up bitter, and he gains the name Tigercloud for his moody personality. Bluefur gains her nine lives shortly after, and proves to be a short-sighted and paranoid leader. She is often seen exiting the elders' den, her blue eyes wild. Tigercloud once approached her after one of her chats with Goosefeather, only for her to hiss at him like a cornered rat.
    What is Goosefeather telling her?

Well, i think that changing his character to something villain-like wouldn’t be that bad. But the way they changed it was just the worst, rn it feels like he just wants to prove his strength with mindlessly batteling. If they really want him to be a villain, they could have done so much more with his character. But now it just feels boring and repetitive. And that’s what makes it bad.

i honestly think that his character changing so drastically due to his new sudden position was a really cool development. its sad for him yeah, but it was cool to see how the pressure of being a leader can warp a cat. i just wish he wasn't an idiot at times and that it came across more of a mask he puts on, while his true self gets more bitter with his position and everything that happens.

Do you know what would be cool? If Hawkfrosts ghost was there encouraging Ashfur to do awful things. I'm thinking of a small AU of which Ashfur tries to tear apart Squirrelflights family, one by one, starting with Firestar and Leafpool. When he fails to frame Brambleclaw for trapping Firestar in the Fox trap, he then goes to Leafpool and demanding that she made a false prophecy of him and Squirrelflight being together. When she refuses, he attacks her, maybe almost killing her! But Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw intervine and he is then exiled. After that, he begins to see Lionpaw outside of campgrounds and train with him. Hawkfrosts ghost then tells him to teach him moves that are taught in the Dark forest and demonstrates them for him, then Ashfur uses them on Lionpaw, getting him wounded to the point where he's afraid of Ashfur. Ashfur, proud of what he is doing, tries to kill him but Lionpaw runs off alive and Ashfur is furious that he gets away. He then later finds out that the three are the "kits" of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, and then he is so enraged that HE actually CAUSED the fire by going to a twoleg camp and stealing burning wood from a campfire and setting the ThunderClan forest ablaze. He then confronts Squirrelflight again, with Hawkfrosts ghost encouraging him to kill the three then Squirrelflight. When she tells him that they aren't her kits and he begins to walk out of the fire zone, Hollyleaf follows him, along with Lionblaze. Together, they kill him on the edge of the burning camp then drag him to the lake (being as thorough as possibly to not cause a blood trail/ a tiny one made of droplets lead to the lake shore) and make it seem like a rogue came by and killed him. Leafpool finds out that both Lionblaze and Hollyleaf had killed Ashfur, but keeps it a secret (Like she did with Hollyleaf in the original series).
After a little while, both Hawkfrost and Ashfur haunt Lionblaze and Hollyleaf; they encourage bad behaviors for both of them- with Lionblaze going to the Dark forest by Hawkfrost and Hollyleaf slowly being driven into madness by Ashfur. Ashfur tells her to reveal the truth about her parents over and over. Hollyleaf, when she discovers Leafpool and Crowfeather are her parents, announces the truth at the Gathering and Ashfur watches with satisfaction as Hollyleaf gets trapped in the tunnels and Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw grow apart for some time.
In the last hope, Ashfur sees that Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight are together again and that Hollyleaf has returned, and he is driven so far off the edge that he tells Hawkfrost to lure Hollyleaf to him (Hawkfrost) by attacking Leafpool and that he'll deal with Squirrelflight in the battle between StarClan and the Place of No Stars. When the battle begins, Ashfur watches with satisfaction as Hawkfrost assaults Leafpool, but then Ivypool distracts Hawkfrost, giving Leafpool the chance to escape. He is a bit upset but when Ivypool is in trouble and Hollyleaf arrives to save her, he is rejoiced when he sees Hollyleaf die. He goes over to her while she is still dying and says to her, "your sacrifice will mean nothing to StarClan or your Clan since you saved a trainee of the Dark Forest," then finishes her off. Squirrelflight sees this and she is enraged and so full of grief that she lunges on him from behind and fights him, eventually killing him. Then Hawkfrost is killed by Brambleclaw.
Just a little AU that I think would make Ashfur a lot more interesting as a Villain. I believe that if he played a greater role in say manipulating and almost killing wha Squirrelflight loves, it wouldn't have been so lame for him to be a villain. And plus, he'd be a bad boi in StarClan.

    My list
Number 1: Lionblaze. It would have been super amazing if one of the three became evil and fought against the clans. That would have been intense.
Number 2: Bramblestar. Because he is boring. He is super boring.
At first I liked him, but he became less interesting. If he killed Firestar in Sunset everything would be completely different, maybe even better.
Number 3: Sparkpelt. Well, she still has the chance of becoming evil but I'm putting her on this list anyway.
I never liked her because in the first books she was a mary sue and then she became a complete jerk out of totally nowhere.
I think she should be a villain.
Number 4: Violetshine. Violetshine is my favourite character, but her being evil would be super interesting! We need more evil main characters. The only ones we had so far were Tigerstar and Mapleshade I think and they only had Novellas.
Violetshine had so much reasons to be evil and I think she should have been.
Number 5: Ivypool. Same reasons as for Violetshine.

I agree with all but Bramblestar. Bramblestar was set up in arc 1 to be an interesting good guy and a parallel to Firestar, so it wouldn't have made sense for him to become a villain. I agree he becomes boring later on, but they should make him interesting in a way that doesn't compromise his morality.

I have an au that is still unnamed, but I call it my Heathertail au. It is basically were Heathertail and Hollyleaf were meeting in the tunnels, even after the kits get lost, they still meet. Then the kits tell a warrior about the tunnels, the Windclan invasion happens, and Heathertail and Hollyleaf meet up in battle. Hollyleaf is pissed, Heathertail tries to convince her tgat it was the kits, but it doesn't work. Breezepelt walks in on all of this and lunges at Hollyleaf, but Heathertail attacks Breezepelt instead. Breezepelt is confused, but Heathertail is not letting him near Hollyleaf, she tells Breezepelt that she doesn't like him, and Hollyleaf was her mate. Breezepelt calls her a traitor and they fight until Heathertail eventually beats Breezepelt. Hollyleaf apologizes for her aggressiveness towards Heathertail, and the battle is soon over. Heathertail walks back to Thunderclan camp with Hollyleaf, cats like Spiderleg and Ashfur hiss at her, and Firestar is very confused. Heathertail says she wants to join Thunderclan, Hollyleaf proves her loyalty to her and Thunderclan by telling them that she basically bitch slapped Breezepelt, Firestar says that she can stay in Thunderclan until the gathering (which was soon approaching), but she needs to be guarded by Brackenfur and Thornclaw. The next day Brambleclaw and Brightheart bring Onestar into Thunderclan camp, everyone goes bat shit crazy and starts hissing and screaming at Onestar, he asks for Heathertail to be brought back to Windclan. Heathertail yells at him for five minutes saying that he is a terrible leader and she will stay in Thunderclan for the rest of her life. They bring Heathertail to the gathering, she says that she is a Thunderclan warrior now, and everyone freaks out but gets over it. Then Hollyleaf "dies" in the tunnels and Heathertail is very upset, but she does not return to Windclan. Hollyleaf comes back and Heathertail is so happy to see her mate again. During the great battle Heathertail nearly kills the corrupted Breezepelt, and Hollyleaf dies. Heathertail is very effected by this, but she does not return to Windclan, or take another mate, she eventually dies and goes to starclan to be with her mate again.
In this au, Breezepelt is definitely evil and is not forgiven. I also think he would be ordered by Brokenstar to kill Ferncloud, and he didn't regret it.

It annoys me that they don’t commit to making characters who were protagonists villains in Warriors when they do it in Survivors (the series about dogs). There was a character who shall not be named because I don’t want to spoil it who seemed like an amazing person. They were really really nice but then at the second to last book of the second arc we find out they were a villain.
But they don’t do it in Warriors

i go on and on abt this au endlessly but you know who would've been a good villain?? tawnypelt. she joins her evil father at a very young age, yet it has almost no effect on her? i think not.
in this au tigerstar manipulates her to be as bloodthirsty as him, but he doesn't expect her to be smarter and more ambitious. when he brings scourge into the forest, she conspires with him to kill her father and blackfoot. tigerstar, though pissed, appears to her at her nine lives ceremony and trains w her in the dark forest. scourge is deputy and bloodclan comes to the forest. obviously, she's gonna need more land to feed all those cats, so she looks to other clan territories
later, she approaches leopardstar and is like "hey, we're both new leaders, we're both young, let's form an alliance." leopardstar agrees, and tawnystar gets to meet hawkfrost and mothwing (i took some creative liberty with their ages). with shadowclan, riverclan, and bloodclan at her command, tawny manages to take over windclan through brute force.
long story short, mothwing eventually pushes her into the gorge, and she's swept far downstream. by the time she loses a life and returns to the clans, bloodclan has been expelled, deadfoot is windclan leader, russetfur is shadowclan leader, and the clans are about to leave on the great journey. she tags along behind and causes mass chaos >:3

I especially hate it when people compare him to Mapleshade. Mapleshade was outed by her medicine cat, exiled, betrayed by her mate, and tortured by vivid hallucinations of her dead kits. She was justified in two out of three of her murders (Appledusk was a horrible person and Frecklewish broke the warrior code by ignoring kits in danger). Ashfur got pissy that the girl he flirted with for like a moon decided to be with someone else and tried to kill her father and children at least two or three full seasons after she left him.

Agree fully with BreezePelt. He is my favorite character, even as an apprentice and before CT. I loved reading about BreezePelt and CrowFeather. They are very interesting to me, and it sucks that my favorite character is basically a waste. I don’t necessarily hate that they showed Breeze was soft hearted and good at the heart, but he should have really been a villain. That was such a waste. Or CrowFeather, I like that hypothesis of Crow becoming horrible. I like that idea much better than Breeze becoming a villain. If CrowFeather became a villain, I would have LOVED reading about it, it would have been SUCH a good plot line for the Night Crow and Breeze family. Honestly...Drakinator, if you read this, PLEASE make this AU happen. Please please please. I would love to see CrowFeather just snap.

I think an Evil/Villain Dovewing would be kind of interesting (and I'm kinda working on this one).
Sure a Villain Ivypool would also be really cool (since feeling like her sister's shadow and whatnot) but Dovewing never actually had any character. she was just... kinda there, ya know?
Maybe Lionblaze and Jayfeather could've completely disregard her just as a replacement for Hollyleaf and doesn't care for her at all. Just calling her when they need her. Kinda forcing her into her destiny and at the same time neglecting her. And then when Dovewing tries to find comfort in her sister, Ivypool would just kinda be a 'heck you' person without actually thinking about how Dovewing feels because she's upset at her.
And pretty much everyone who knows treats her like some great being when all she wants to do is happily be with her sister (who pretty much now hates her I guess?)
So when she and Tigerheart start meeting up, I like to think she only sees it as a stress relief and doesn't have feelings for anyone. No one needs that love triangle. Maybe she'll spite Starclan for forcing her into this position? Idk, I can't write stories.
I'd like to think she pretty much hates Starclan and instead of trying to become a rouge/kittypet or become a leader so that (insert creative reason), she tries to completely destroy the clans. By spreading rumours and false/true information to other clans to outrage them and just watch the clans destroy each other instead of her doing all of the dirty work? Maybe she wants to erase everything that their ancestors made? Idk what happens after but I think if done correctly, Dovewing could have been an intresting villain.
Mkay, thanks for coming to my ted talk. I'm still working on it so if someone has any ideas, i'd be happy to read 'em
Sorry for making this comment really long

I actually did a mini pmv (really bad art, honestly but still) about a AU of Dovewing, wich she is forced into that path, and see her sister getting more rage to her. Ivypool finds out Dove is seeing Tigerheart and tells the whole clan. When she does, everyone turns their back on Dovewing. Jayfeather and Lionblaze are just like "she never could be on our sister's place anyway"
Dovewing have a breakdown of rage, at everything, and attacks Ivypool in front of the whole clan, and then runs away, being reject by Starclan.
Was a pretty random thing that popped up in my mind and I drew it.

I like that idea! It would've actually given her personality. Also, the "kin of your kin" prophecy would become more meaningful as "will have the power of stars in their paws" actually means they have the power to both destroy or save the Clans, and 2/3 of the Three use said power to save the Clans while 1/3 use it to destroy the Clans. It would also make the war between StarClan and the Dark Forest seem like an actual war, because if they have a powerful cat on their side it's a lot less lame (I mean, having thousands of cats vs like, what, 30 cats? doesn't seem like a dangerous threat against the thousands of cats).

Oh my god you hit the nail on the head with these 💚💚 I feel like the Ashfur fire scene was just a means to an end. Like hey! You’re adopted - but theres fire and its dangerous. But at the same time I feel like there’s an easy out there? Like Ashfur let’s them go because he has what he needs to hurt Squirrelflight now and murder would discredit him. He can ostrisize her from her clan by revealing she lied to them all and ruin her relationship with Brambleclaw without becoming a murderer. From there with that threat looming over them and in a desperate attempt to not become an outcast in her own clan for being halfclan (like Stormfur who she grew up with telling stories of his hardship) Hollyleaf kills him to keep the secret - because being halfclan makes her very existence against the warrior code she has been striving to protect. But murder is also against the code and in the end that pulling on both directions and all the pain this one secret has caused is what causes her breakdown.
(Also fun AU - Ashfur goes to Starclan no problem but when the rocks fall on Hollyleaf in the tunnels she is wounded very badly and may not live and as such is “on her way” to Starclan. This causes Ashfur to flip his lid because HOW could they allow his murderer into Starclan so he abandons the whole thing and goes to the dark forest of his own volition because Statclan sucks. Cue villain Ashfur luring Thunderclan cats to the dark forest because he was a good guy in life and they don’t know of his misdeeds.)

I just thought of something when you said Ashfur should have died in a fire. There needs to be a map where in an AU Ashfur gets pushed into the fire by Hollyleaf and dies. A song I felt like would fit was Die In A Fire, a FNAF 3 song. Idk honestly, but maybe this could become a reality.

  • @artyalpaca3950
    @artyalpaca3950 5 років тому +6

In the fire scene, Ashfur should have attacked them. Like, I know that might seem weird at first but let me explain.
Something that I feel would work in the scene is after Squirrelflight says they aren't her kits, Ashfur leaps at her but Lionblaze jumps in and Ashfur can't scratch him. In fights, NOBODY realizes they aren't hurting Lionblaze and so here Ashfur should know something is off. So Lionblaze and Holyleaf start protecting Squirrelflight and Holyleaf is just getting really protective of her "mom" and gets mad.
After fighting for a bit, Ashfur should bring up that he isn't hurting Lionblaze and of course Holyleaf and Lionblaze look at each other then at Jayfeather. In complete fear of any cat finding out about the prophecy, Holyleaf leaps at Ashfur in complete rage and slashes his throat. Ashfur dies and this is where Holyleaf starts to become corrupted.
They all get to safety and are still alone. Jayfeather ends up explaining the prophecy to Squirrelflight and they kind of sit in silence for a bit. Holyleaf then confronts Squirrelflight about her saying they weren't her kits and before she can say anything, Jayfeather, after thinking about the "kin of your kin" line, realizes what happened and just says "Leafpool". Squirrelflight says nothing, meaning it must be true, and Holyleaf runs off into the woods.
Idk just kind of seems cool, I probably didn't explain it well tho

I feel like Swiftpaw was a missed opportunity.
    Hear me out.
During Swiftpaws kit and short apprenticeship all kinds of sh- happened. Not to mention most people portray Longtail and Swiftpaw having some sort of sweet relationship but I honestly saw it more portrayed as Swiftpaw looked up to Longtail because he was seemingly close with Tigerclaw/star and Darkstripe.
I see Longtail being harsh on Swiftpaw during training, lowkey like Thistleclaw and Tigerpaw.
I only see Longtail being 'sentimental' or actually caring for Swiftpaw AFTER he dies.
Speaking of death. Swiftpaws death was kinda...eehhh? I like how kinda protective he's portrayed when Brightheart speaks about the dog attack but...eehhh. I feel he shouldn't have died. I think I'd be more interesting if they couldn't find swiftpaw and only found Brightpaw/heart.
Maybe the whole time Swiftpaw admired Tigerstar and that's a valid reason for him to get so upset about a kittypet like Cloudpaw being more rewarded than clan cats not just Longtails influence alone.
Maybe he knew the dogs were there. And he brought Brightpaw there, meaning to have tricked/ brought Cloudpaw/tail there instead but he slipped about part of his plan around brightpaw and she insisted on going instead.
Maybe Tigerstar/claw had promised him a warrior name if he'd brought Cloudpaw/tail to the dogs. And when it wasn't cloudtail/paw Tigerstar/claw tried to throw Swiftpaw to the dogs with Brightpaw.
And when the patrol came looking they only found Brightpaw, and Swiftpaw had escaped and survived.
And instead of Scourge being the one to kill Tigerstar, Swiftpaw comes out of nowhere and kills him, maybe he'd even found scourge before Tigerstar had and they planned this out.
I JUST PULLED ALL THIS OUT OF MY HEAD IN LIKE 30 MINUTES. PFT. IDK. I LIKE IT. BUT EEHHH

I have an au where the main characters (sort of) become villains. Everything up to the point where Holly is running away from the gathering with Lion and Jay chasing her is correct. However, Breeze also decides to follow.
Holly runs into the tunnels, but the rocks don't crash down on her. The four of them run in the tunnels for a while before exiting at an opening at the back of windclan territory (near-ish to the path that goes to the Moonpool) Holly, exhausted, collapses and the others join her. Lion, Jay and Breeze interrogate her on why she ran away/screamed out at the gathering.
After a while, everyone forms a conclusion to create their own 'clan', plotting their revenge against the clans (in particular, Leaf, Squirrel and Crow)
I can go on if anyone is interested :'). Tbh this was mainly made as an alternate ending (to OOTS and to TPOT) where you would already know the other (original) ending.
In the end they are good guys, and Breeze gets (in my opinion) a better conclusion to being good. But not before they murder Leafpool and Squirrelflight.

    • @Parasolhyena
      @Parasolhyena 5 років тому

This sounds really good but they'd have to murder Crow too because he is by far the worst of the 3 of them.
Though I'd probably rather have them come close to killing all 3 of them if you truly want them to become good guys again, rather then actually doing it because I don't know, that's kinda the point of no return and if you want them to be good guys that ain't gonna fly, if they stay villains though then yes! Murder all of them!!!!

    • @silence__2592
      @silence__2592 5 років тому

@@Parasolhyena They watch the two sides align themselves in the final battle and discuss who they should side on. They are about to decide on joining the df when Breeze says they should join Starclan's side.
However, when the battle begins, Breeze can't fight. He just watches indecisively.
Note: At this point in time Breeze is aware that Broken used him and hates him for it, however Breeze still is unsure about Crow.
Breeze is watching as Holly, Lion, Jay, Cinder, Heather, Dove and other cats who joined them redeem themselves (Ivy died to Hawk FYI) when he hears two cats loudly yowling.
Broken has Crow pinned and is snarling in glee about how he manipulated Breeze (Crow and Broken are both unaware of Breeze watching) Crow started begging for the son he LOVED to be returned to him.
Broken is about to kill Crow and Breeze attacks him. They fight for ages, Crow too injured to help (however he does try).
Broken and Breeze kill each other and Breeze, in his last moments apologies.
      SOME NOTES:
-Crow and Night, when they first became mates, kinda wandered off a bit (with consent, this time) to raise their new son, Ravenkit. Ravenkit dies when they are attacked by badgers and Night, when given the choice of either saving Crow or Raven, saves Crow, resulting in Raven's death. This is what leaves Crow so bitter and unwilling to show love.
-Leaf actually went out to find the new clan, and succeeded (they were where she had stayed with Crow) but they killed her when she refused to stop begging them.
-They killed Squirrel as a demonstration to the clans not to mess with them.
-Lion, Holly and Jay help Squirrel and Leaf in the final battle.
-After Breeze's death Crow is crushed, as is Breeze, who feels like he made too many mistakes to die straight away. He 'haunts' (but in a good way) Crow for a while. It's Goosefeather-ish - only Crow can see Breeze. Breeze is also with Raven :D Both refuse to go to Starclan just yet. Eventually they do though ^^
I've got so many pvms designed for this ^^'

    Inspired by @ThisCatIsOnFire's comment
Ashfur stepped calmly onto on the branch that was supposed to serve as Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze's route to safety, his icy blue eyes locked on Squirrelflight's.
"Ashfur, get out of the way. Let them get out!" Squirrelflight meowed, voice puzzled and high pitched with fear. The gray tom lashed his tail, but didn't move from the end of the branch. The flames grew closer to the trapped cats and they pressed closer together, Jayfeather stumbling and falling to the ground. Lionblaze caught him by the scruff, holding him upright. Through the flames, Hollyleaf saw Squirrelflight's neck fur bristle her voice hardening. "Ashfur. Move," she ordered, fury searing her voice like the flames that kept the three trapped.
"Brambleclaw isn't here to look after them now," Ashfur sneered, the growing flames lapping at the charred, steadily weakening wood beneath his paws. Panic rose steadily in the dark she-cat's chest, overwhelming every other feeling. The heat was nearly enough to blast her backwards over the cliff.
The branch quivered and dipped, and Hollyleaf could see traces of unease in Ashfur's blazing blue eyes. Still, he did not move.
"What have you done with my father?" Lionblaze shouted over the fire, and Ashfur glanced back with a pitying look in his eyes. Flames danced behind his face, and his gray fur looked as golden as the sun in the light of the fire. "Why would I waste my time with Brambleclaw?" he snarled, opening his mouth to continue just as a burst of flame erupted beside his paw. He hissed, withdrawing the singed pad but still not leaving the branch.
"Ashfur, get out of the way," Squirrelflight hissed, her fur rising. She staggered forward, utter loathing glimmering in her darkened green eyes. Her voice was more full of hatred than Hollyleaf thought possible; she had never seen her mother like this before. Ashfur stared at her, watching with mild concern as the fire climbed closer and closer to him. Lionblaze crouched, preparing to pounce, but Hollyleaf stopped him. "It's too dangerous!" she meowed urgently, and Ashfur glanced back.
"You can't do anything, Squirrelflight. You always preferred to let Brambleclaw fight your battles for you," he growled, resentment consuming every part of him.
"Your quarrel with Brambleclaw has to stop. It's been too many moons. You have to accept that I'm Brambleclaw's mate, not yours," Squirrelflight growled, raising her voice. A branch severed from a tree and crashed to the burning earth nearby, reminding the three and Ashfur of their dwindling time. Ashfur was clearly holding back a howl of pain, barely keeping himself from wincing as flames licked at his pelt and burned his skin.
"I have no quarrel with Brambleclaw. I couldn't care less about Brambleclaw. It's not his fault he fell for a faithless she-cat," Ashfur spat. The warrior's voice was cold, each syllable trembling with hatred.
Hollyleaf and Lionblaze exchanged glances before turning back to the cats on the other side of the flame. Something more was going on, Hollyleaf was sure of it. Despite the blazing heat, a chill ran down her spine. She pressed closer to her brothers, desperate for the comfort they brought.
"I know you think I've never forgiven Brambleclaw for stealing you from me, but you're wrong. And so is every other cat who thinks so. My quarrel is with you, Squirrelflight," Ashfur hissed, taking a step towards to the cat he had once loved. Hollyleaf saw his claws glinting in the firelight.
    "It always has been."
With those words, he began to walk closer to Squirrelflight, eyes on her alone. Before anyone could comprehend what was happening, he trod on a patch of flame. His shrieks of pain could be heard even above the raging fire as the flame climbed his leg, crawling rapidly onto his chest and belly. Squirrelflight screamed his name as the tom collapsed, writhing in agony. Hollyleaf watched in horror as his entire body hit the branch at full force. Time slowed down as it snapped in two, plunging Ashfur into the gulch of flame. Squirrelflight dropped to the ground, reaching into the pit towards where he had vanished. But it was useless. Ashfur was dead, killed by his own inability to forgive.
But safety was not within their reach quite yet. The bridge had been broken when Ashfur fell, and the hungry flames grew ever closer. They had no way out- Squirrelflight was far too weak to push another branch over to them even if she managed to find one in time, and even Lionblaze couldn't clear the gap. Hollyleaf could feel the smoke in her throat, suffocating her slowly. She coughed and retched, thoughts becoming muddled and hazy. She was vaguely aware of three cats screaming and a flash of gray dissapearing over the edge. Jayfeather.
Lionblaze made a desperate grab for his brother but stumbled, losing his balance in his lunge and tumbling over the edge, down into the smoke-filled clearing far below. But to Hollyleaf, this was all just a flurry of movement and a rush of frantic shouts. She choked and gagged, smoke and bile filling her throat, climbing into her lungs and stealing all of her air. She couldn't think, and she began to feel horribly lightheaded. Weak. Black sand filled her vision, obscuring everything, and the burnt ground beneath her paws seemed to slip away. She felt herself falling and heard her mother cry out for her, then all went silent. Even the crackling roars of the flames had vanished, even the horrible heat.
    Everything was gone.

    Here’s my list -
5 - Goosefeather. I have this whole AU that after Pinestar leaves to be a kittpet Goosefeather is told to kill Tigerkit, so goes to basically shove him into the river. However, Leopardfoot catches him in the act, but when she tries to save Tigerkit, Goosefeather goes against StarClan’s word and tries to kill her as well. Sedgecreek of RiverClan comes and manages to get Tigerkit out of the river and Leopardfoot kills Goosefeather. Tigerkit later becomes a medicine cat instead of a warrior, as he wants to make right what Goosefeather had done by taking his place. Also Sedgecreek later becomes leader (love her)
4 - Hawkwing. I think that Hawkwing should have been so caught up in Darktail’s words that when it comes to it, he fights beside his new friend instead of helping his clan. But later, he tries to return to SkyClan, and they refuse him. When he reaches the lake, he joins ThunderClan, posing as a random rouge. To begin with he fights for the rouges in the battle, but as he begins to notice they are loosing, he joins the clans. Effectively, he manages to take out a whole load of rouges in the end, but he still doesn’t redeem himself, and is kicked out of the clans. Hawkwing was always a bit in the middle for me, and I would have loved to see him commit to helping Darktail, but change when he sees how it is hurting his kits
3 - Breezepelt. I would have loved to see him be evil. That’s would have just been incredible. Maybe some cats corner him in the tunnels, and he starts freaking out, terrified that the water will come again. Nightcloud begs whoever has cornered him to let him out, at least give him a fair fight so he isn’t suffering like this. Then he emerges from the tunnels, and she’s musters all her strength and is finally able to kill him
2 - Stormfur. This is a bit of a weird one, but imagine if Stormfur was so enraged by the Tribe’s prophecy forcing Feathertail to die that he began to manipulate Brook so that he could join the Tribe. Basically, he causes loads of problems within the tribe, sending cats into dangerous sitatuation, eventually killing Stoneteller and claiming leadership. Then he pulls apart the tribe bit by bit until it is so broken there are effectively no cats left. When a tribe cat arrives at the lake, they tell the clans about Stormfur, and this time ThunderClan refuse to help. But RiverClan agrees, and goes to take down the unjust Stoneteller.
1 - Lionblaze. He is invincible and your telling me he uses his powers for good ? Nah. It would have been so cool to see them struggle to kill him, and in the end he has to be locked in the tunnels for all eternity, and a group of cats are nominated to continue guarding every entrance and push him back in if neeeded

I honestly would like Leopardfoot being a villain.
After the death of Mistkit and Nightkit, Leopardfoot thought it was Pinestar’s fault, since she thought he could help her with the kits but she HAD to become a single parent.
Once Tigerkit became a apprentice, Leopardfoot demands to appreciate her son. Sunstar says that it was unusual but he didn’t it was wrong.
Leopardfoot basically trained Tigerpaw to kill his father. Tigerpaw loved his mother so he blindly followed Leopardfoot and believed it was Pinestar’s flaut for EVERYTHING bad in him and his mother’s life. He thought that he would be a better leader than ANYONE.
Finally, Leopardfoot died. In her death, Tigerclaw kills Pinestar. After Tigerclaw kills him, he gets the confidence to kill Redtail and started his bloodlust.
    But that’s my stupid AU

I actually really liked Breezepelt's redemption arc, but I agree with the rest of the video.
I guess I have a soft spot for people from dysfunctional families learning to undo the toxicity they grew up with. Even if it was kind of rushed and should realistically have happened over several books instead of just one super edition.

I agree with all of them. Though I would also have liked to see Hawkheart be a villian in the books that he is in. I mean, yes he trained as a warrior and then as a medicine cat, but they really should have acted on it and make him a true villian and not just a 'oh he killed my mother because she was destroying the herbs' they really could have done way more with this idea.

    Ashfur villain AU
Ashfur stood up on his branch and looked down at Squirrelflight, he grinned, his blue eyes blazing. Squirrelflight lashed her tail and she and Ashfur lunged at each other! Squirrelflight slashed Ashfur’s face and Ashfur stabbed Squirrelflight’s throat. Ashfur stood over Squirrelflight and pushed her head down with his paw, “you should have loved me Squirrelflight!” Hollypaw leaped at Ashfur and attacked him off of Squirrelflight, Lionpaw nudged Jaypaw to follow him and the tackled Ashfur, Hollypaw bit his throat, Lionpaw held Ashfur down and Jaypaw clawed at Ashfur’s flank. Squirrelflight coughed up blood, her eyes stung from the smoke, and soot was blackening her dark ginger fur. Hollypaw, Lionpaw And Jaypaw backed away from Ashfur, Who was bleeding out and barely alive. Ashfur crawled slowly towards weakening Squirrelflight, he tried to claw her but collapsed down on the ground. Ashfur was dead!

I feel like what could of made Ashfur a really good villain AND maybe helped edge on Hollyleaf is like, so. Going off of the idea of Ashfur letting them live because they're adopted and he doesn't believe adopted families are real families, just like, picture this: So Ashfur lets them leave, and then he just casually starts mocking Hollyleaf from afar. Like say every chance he gets he tells one of the three like "oh haha you're adopted sucks doesn't it?" or like a "you're adopted, she doesn't love you" but the one he targets the most is hollyleaf because he deep down knows she's the most upset by this. And like the idea is he's trying to talk her into killing squirrelflight for him. Maybe even eventually turning to threats like "I'll reveal your secret if you don't work with me" and basically being a manipulative jerk. And so like through his trickery n stuff he like talks hollyleaf into meeting him by the lake to discuss a plan to kill squirrelflight and finding and killing her birth mother whom abandoned her. While at the lake Hollyleaf just kinda stays quiet in reaction to all Ashfur's plans and then he's like trying his manipulation again n stuff, n prolly just pulling a "How's it feel to be alone Hollyleaf?" And then Hollyleaf just like kills him cuz she's sick of his stuff. But once it's done she starts to lose it. And maybe like Ashfur's ghost is haunting her n stuff making her slip farther into insanity. And thus Hollyleaf snaps, and does her big bad and then leaves in the tunnels.
AND it can further back up your idea for evil hollyleaf receiving training from the dark forest n being evil n stuff. But then like so when she returns she attempts to kill squirrelflight, but then realizes she's doing the whim of the person who ruined her life n stuff. So like then she kinda starts to redevelop and try to reunite with her clan, but of course due to trying to kill squirrelflight she's kept as a prisoner. And maybe then Brambleclaw can be a good adoptive dad and bond with her n be like "I've done bad things too let's talk about that" or something along those lines.
And of course Hollyleaf should most definitely kill Ashfur's spirit to like save squirrelflight or something, like Hawkfrost is helping Ashfur try to kill Squirrelflight and hollyleaf just kinda comes in and fights them off , killing ashfur but in turn getting killed by hawkfrost.
I went on a really big idea spell heck

I feel like Jayfeather could've been a cool villain.
I dunno, I just feel like he has a ton of potential to be one-- he could read his victim's thoughts and figure out their weaknesses through their minds without them even knowing.
After he finds about his newfound powers, his mind begins to grow dark and only worsens due to his bitterness over being unable to be a warrior. He begins toying around with his clanmates' emotions and even begins seeking out ways to ruin their reputation and turn others against eachother.
It would also be cool to see how his siblings would react to this-- at first they think he's just testing his abilities out, but then realize that he could potentially be going down a dark path. They try stopping him, but Jayfeather (who is used to messing around with other's minds) starts guilt tripping them and telling them 'you should have your faith in me because im your brother' etc etc
At one point (I forgot which book this was) the Dark Forest tried recruiting him, but Spottedleaf swooped in before anything legitimate could happen between Jayfeather and the DF cats. It would be interesting to see Jayfeather working amongst the Dark Forest cats trying to help them destroy the clans, or even try manipulating both sides and screw things over for both of them.
But of course, why would we get that when we could have a bunch of villains with the same ambitions over and over again?

i agree with all of these!
and this actually inspired me to make an evil hollyleaf au wheeze-
currently the au is that hollyleaf has her massive breakdown but before she ‘dies’ in the tunnels, she claws jayfeather’s cheek since i guess she got upset at him?? idk
while she’s in the tunnels, she keeps planning on maybe ‘killing’ thunderclan until there’s nothin left (not sure why yet but i’ll think of something) but fallen leaves is like “uh no that’s bad” but holly ignores him
then when she returns to thunderclan she kinda eavesdrops on literally almost every conversation in the clan, just to gain information so i guess she can start ‘killing’ the cats
jay still has his powers at this point, so he can tell holly is thinking this and confronts her saying “uh holly what are you thinking” and she starts using the warrior code against him, saying stuff like “you don’t want starclan to punish you, do you?” or something like that
not sure what the rest will be but i’m still thinking
thanks for reading this (whoever did), and for the inspiration! i’m open to constructive criticism and ideas btw

I honestly think it would be interesting to have seen Jayfeather be a villain, because hear me out he's a protagonist that's a jerk he haven't had one of those before. And you know like how everybody babies him because he's blind and he doesn't want his family to think he is useless he actually does join the dark Forest and uses the powers that he has been given to use those as an advantage to like spy on starclan or something it's just my idea XD

A topic that I would love to see you cover is Starclan guides, as in Starclan cats that help living cats, like Spottedleaf (creepily) did for Firestar and Yellowfang for Jayfeather.
I think the main change I would like (Idk if this is canon, i haven't read this far but I doubt it) is have Flametail be Alderheart's guide. We would get to see more into Flame's character, and since we can infer that he was a fairly confident but kind cat, he could try and help Alderheart with his problems. And with Flametail being a past Shadowclan cat, he could watch over Violetshine for Alderheart and let Alder know of what is going on in Shadowclan and such. Maybe even have Flame go against Starclan and tell Alder more than what Starclan would normally tell him, just like how StC didnt warn Flametail about his death besides terrifying dreams that helped nobody. Idk, I think that could help develop both characters in great ways.

With the mention of the idea of Ashfur thinking that adoptive families don’t matter (that’s a rlly cool idea btw) I suddenly remembered that Ashfur had and adopted brother! Cloudtail was raised by Brindleface with Fernkit and Ashkit! In the books we even see them (as kits) acting like blood related littermates and genuinely being close to each other. What if the books wrote in Cloudtail and Ashfur growing apart from each other as they get older, maybe having something to do with Cloudtail becoming a warrior before him. And they become so distant from each other, that Cloudtail doesn’t even morn when Ashfur dies. Idk, I just thought that was an easy way to write that in without changing to much about Ashfur’s actual family life.

  • @skyfallthetimecat
    @skyfallthetimecat 5 років тому

Totally agree. It even adds on that Hollyleaf was a really good actor and didn't show any guilt at all for killing Ashfur. I even thought it was Squirrelflight who did it while I was reading it because of how worked up she was.
I also think that, with the Breezepelt and Crowfeather thing, the Erins made it where Crowfeather was just closing his heart and didn't want anything to do with his son. I think it mostly is neglect? That Breezepelt never had a father to grow up with because Crowfeather turned him away, and though his mother still loved him and cared for him, he was hurt that Crowfeather never committed to him.
And what about Raggedstar? He was subject to favoritism and overall a bad leader. He didn't care about the needs of his Clan at all and put all his sights onto his son instead. If his reign wasn't so short, he could probably have made ShadowClan suffer a lot. Not as much as Brokenstar did, but still enough to be considered a 'villain'?

Ok here’s my evil Ashfur au. During the fire, Ashfur actually kills Lionblaze. He’s happy about this but Holly, Jay, and Squirrel think it’s just because of the heat. But the truth is that when they were let out Ashfur kicked a log in front of Lionblaze and prevented him from leaving. Cinderheart is told that her boyfriend/crush is dead and she flips out. Ashfur, still high on making Squirrelflight feel pain goes to the Dark Forest and tells Hawkfrost to convince Hollyleaf to reveal Leafpool’s secret and then make her kill Leafpool. He agrees and approaches Hollyleaf at night, telling her he’s from Starclan and she needs to reveal her mother’s secret. She does and then Hawkfrost tells her to kill Leafpool. So Hollyleaf tries to get Leafpool to eat the berries. She doesn’t and Ashfur is pissed. He lures Leafpool out of camp that night, saying that he found some herbs, and kills her. The next day a patrol finds her. They blame it on rouges and carry on. Next, he chases Hollyleaf out of camp and tells her if she doesn’t go to the tunnels he’ll kill her. She runs to the tunnels and before she can tell Jayfeather that Ashfur would kill her the rocks fall. Squirrelflight at this point is devastated. This isn’t enough for Ashfur. Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are back together again (big shocker) and he asks Brambleclaw to get him a rabbit from the fresh kill pile. He does but Ashfur poisoned the rabbit before and becomes sick after eating it. He is treated by Jayfeather and he shouts that Brambleclaw poisoned him the next day. His proof is that death berry juice is smeared on Brambleclaw’s paws. Because he asked for the rabbit pretty late, he put death berry juice on Brambleclaw’s paws at night. He is exiled and now Squirrelflight’s only family member left is Jayfeather. Then Hollyleaf comes back from the tunnels, ready to kill the jerk. She runs to Jayfeather and tells him the truth. News spreads around camp and Firestar exiles him. But Hollyleaf, Cinderheart, and Squirrelflight can’t sleep at night knowing he’s alive. They track him down and kill him by lighting a few sticks on fire and trapping him, just like how the first tragedy he made went. He dies and is sent to the Dark Forest. During the Dark Forest battle he is killed by Lionblaze and Leafpool, stopping his evil forever. I know this is really long I’m sorry.

    Evil Hollyleaf AU proposal:
Hollyleaf, in distress runs down into the tunnels, and maybe it starts the way you proposed it, and then Fallen Leaves helps her know she's not dead. He then tries to get her out of the tunnels. Fallen wants her to see her friends but Holly wants to hurt everyone still. She lurks around for a while then she attacks a patrol and is brought back to ThunderClan. They keep her prisoner. Then they find out she is the fourth cat and they have to try to work with her as a villan for that. She gets redeemed when she's working with her siblings and Dovewing as the fourth cat. Just now the guilt comes back to her. She fights on their side in the Dark forest battle but since she trained with Mapleshade and was evil for quite a while, she was taken to the dark forest. This makes her more distressed and she tries to prove she isn't evil.
    Then idk

I once had an au map call written out about Ashfur and Squirrelflight. I called it the Bad Blood au mostly because that was the song the map was inspired by. It basically went "what if Squirrelflight wasn't injured during the fire scene?" Because I think that's the only reason why she didn't kill Ashfur and instead negotiated with him. I imagine her knowing the entire time that he was heartbroken after she rejected him but it was like 3 years ago and they dated for a week so she's sick and tired of it. She knows she can get away with murdering him on the spot because a fire would be the perfect excuse. So yeah, she loves her CHILDREN enough to murder Ashfur for them and the secret is revealed later instead of right then, and the three are a bit more comfortable with it because they realised that Squirrelflight really did see them as her own and Leafpool gave them up to have a better life. Idk it just sounds really cool especially with the song and this quarrel with Ashfur and Squirrelflight that wasn't resolved until it was too late.

About the Breezepelt thing.. I've seen people in my life being basically groomed into thinking someone abused them. I have a friend who was groomed into thinking that by a child predator. What happened is, the mixture of Crowfeather's emotional neglect (I love Crowfeather, but yeah, he did that) and his mother's *UNINTENTIONAL* grooming of Breezpelt into thinking his dad was bad, well.. that did it for him.

Ashfur resenting adopted families/not seeing them as real families fits really well with how his own mom, Brindleface, adopted Cloudtail when he was brought to ThunderClan. He and Ferncloud were involved in that plan to lure the dogs to the cliff because of Brindleface's death, but iirc Cloudtail wasn't, so maybe that began a resentment for his mother's adoption of Cloudtail. Add that to his anger at Firestar and all of his kin, plus potentially blaming Cloudtail for Swiftpaw's death since his warrior ceremony was the catalyst, and it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that because of all this Ashfur doesn't have a particularly fond view of adopted families.

I personally think a Darktail, Sleekwhisker, and Sol team up in the Broken Code arc would be awesome! Kate Cary did say that a controversial villain is returning to the series, and having Sol in their, to have someone for the characters to bank off of during what will surly be one of their hardest times, will make a great payoff by reinforcing the clans waning belief in StarClan during this arc.

  • @murkiuryd6883
    @murkiuryd6883 5 років тому

I almost wanted to see a villainous team-up between Breezepelt and Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf, unable to cope after being told that everything she knows is a lie, might have been lured into the Dark Forest. And Breezepelt himself mentioned in OotS that he wanted to fight to punish those that had broken the Code. Hollyleaf could've talked to him in the Dark Forest, and if Breezepelt didn't just immediately try to murder her, she could explain that she wanted revenge as well and that she didn't ask to be born in such a way. Seeing the half-siblings become villains together would be absolutely *awesome*, and it'd fix the fact that the OotS Dark Forest apprentices always felt shallow to me because none of them had any real reason to fight against the Clans.
After all, there are many more cats in the Clans that fell in love across borders (and had kits) than the kin of Firestar.

I feel like Breezepelt was more a sort of Longtail-esque character and I like his redemption arc in Crowfeather's Trial. (That scene from Dovewing's Silence is annoying though I agree)
Raggedstar is a weird thing, he was alright sorta but did feel bland. His character as it was could have been stronger with his character expressing more of the hopelessness he felt, and more of a reason to feel that way. It seemed like he was just kinda meh then depressed when the apprentices left, there couldve been something in between.
I get the AU and like the idea for Spottedleaf, but like you said they didnt think that far ahead so it wouldn't have made it. I also like Spottedleaf as is so either way could be fine. :v
I love the arc Hollyleaf had, I feel like one of 10 people who say that though. ^^; I thought it was in character due to her perfectionist attitude and just realizing how everything she believed was falling to where she couldnt fix it, causing a LOT of stress. Your idea for her also sounds good, and I wouldn't have disliked it in the books(as long as she still saves Ivypool). (also im sorry hut PLEASE we need other df cats to train, mapleshade needs to sit in the back for a minute QwQ)
I LOVE THE IDEA WITH ASHFUR THOUGH. The idea with his views of adoption being so bad from his own problems back then wouldve fit perfectly, and I cant believe I didnt connect those together! Idk how he should have died, but honestly there was enough risky situations that he couldve kept jumping into that he would've been killed soon anyway.

Personally I would have LOVED to see Bluestar turn into a villain. She was on the right path already with her losing faith in StarClan. It would've been awesome to see her become a mad, cruel leader. It could've started with the same thing that happened (with Tigerclaw attacking her) and she could've gradually become evil. (maybe like Mapleshade?) It would've had a huge impact on her death as well, as in my opinion her death was a little boring. There wasn't as much emotion as there could've been. She just went from depressed and lost to "Oh StarClan is right, I have to have faith in them, blah blah blah..." She could've been a harsh and cruel leader (she could also have given more cats names like Lostface, aka Brightheart) who wanted nothing but revenge and bloodshed. There could've been buildup to her death/her realizing her mistakes/wrongs. And maybe she could've gone to the Dark Forest and been the one to kill Tigerstar's spirit (As Firestar didn't really need that attention since he's already overrated as it is). I think it would've made her a much better and stronger character.
*inhale* Blackstar. I don't think I need to explain this one much. But a small part about this idea is when Sol came, maybe it brought back the evil that was once in Blackstar when Tigerstar created TigerClan. Maybe he could've sent Sol away because he didn't want another cat taking his spotlight. In the scene where Blackstar sees the StarClan cats and stuff, he could've pretended that he realized his mistakes, but inside he was still evil. It also could've had a cool impact on the Great Battle. He could've fought against the living cats and his downfall could've been his Clan banishing him rather than him just dying. He could've lived with Sol and created a rouge group like Darktail's. Ahh I just love Blackstar, he deserved more attention in my opinion.
Evil Hawkheart. Nothing to say, he's my evil bab.
Evil Alderheart. Jealousy over Sparkpelt's success ig?
Evil Bumble. She already had her fit with Turtle Tail, she could've risen up and become a cat out for revenge. Revenge on Turtle Tail and revenge on Tom.

I have had this AU for a while, and I sort of did it mostly because it's the perfect gateway for Ashfur being a villain.
What basically happens is that Ashfur has cornered Holly, Jay, Lion, and Squirrel in the woods, and they're going through the whole Fire scene.
But, right after Squirrelflight says her famous lines, Ferncloud jumps through the fire and screeches at her brother- What was he doing? Why would he even think about letting innocent kits die? Ashfur, too astonished by his sister appearing out of the fire, stumbles back, and forces the three to take a step back as well. And, Lionblaze, who no longer has room on the edge of the ridge, falls to his death. At this, Ferncloud becomes so infuriated that she attacks her brother, and eventually knocks him out. After a short while, everybody is out of the fire and Squirrelflight tells Firestar what Ashfur did (ex. Working with Hawkfrost, trying to kill the three) And he is banished.
So, from here I haven't really given the AU much thought, but I do believe Ashfur would come back, perhaps with Sol, with the intent of destroying the clan who cast him out, for, in his perspective, soing nothing wrong.

Honestly, I wish they'd introduce like... purgatory. I loved the Place of No Stars concept. What the Dark Forest was before; cats wander endlessly with no companionship or prey or anything until they work through all the things they did wrong in the past. Only then will the path to Starclan become clear. Or, if they still feel they did nothing wrong or hat Starclan is evil or that they'd do it all over again exactly the same or whatever, they appear in the Dark Forest and are stuck there.
A punishment for cats who, really, could go either way. Cats like Rowanstar or Onestar (or even Ashfur, whoops) who honestly shouldn't just be in Starclan instantly, but perhaps could get there with development and personal growth.
I agree on Hollyleaf, and Ashfur.
Also, I think Sparkpelt would make a good villain; I still think she 100% has the potential to be one, given her views on kittypets/other clans/all the other borderline nasty stuff she's done, especially her attitude. I could see her being written and spun into a villain - but I doubt she will be. She reads a lot like her mom. Good at heart, bad in attitude.
Any of Ivypool's kits would also be interesting, as both of their parents have worked so hard to be good cats for their clan and good parents.
My biggest thought for next new villain of Thunderclan (if the Erins were planning anything sneaky in advance...) is Sorrelstripe. She's been given very little personality thus far - has only been seen on watch and trying to leave camp. Which is strange, because her other siblings have been given at least SOME development; Hollytuft is shown to be kind and supportive, and Fernsong... well. We all know Fernsong. Why no development for Sorrelstripe? Why have the only major mentions of her been her trying to leave camp and trying to avoid getting laid up for sickness? I doubt the Erins have anything planned but if Sorrelstripe ended up having been sneaking out of camp and was up to something it would totally make sense.
There are SO many cats that don't have true personalities right now, though.
