Resistance Fall of Man is a science-fiction first-person shooter video game for the PlayStation 3. It was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game is set in an alternate history 1951, and follows Sergeant Nathan Hale as he and the human resistance forces attempt to drive a mysterious alien-like invasion.

I will never stop wishing for a remake or reboot of this series
Knowing these days they would and it would get butchered lol. I’d only hope it wouldn’t but here to hoping they circle back to this title.

A good PC port of the trilogy would go hard. The only thing preventing me from going back to the them on PS3 is the console FOV. I was a lot more tolerant of it as a 13 year old playing on a big TV screen.

first co-op too. I remember healing folks. now, I'm a warlock main on D2. I liked running healing on remnant 2. Just noticed a pattern.

Totally!!😃🚀🇺🇸remaster the whole series into a collection and make a sequal to it and maybe an animated series. It’s a great sci fi shooter and after playing through all 3 games you feel like you were there fighting for the planet.
I know insomniac said they wouldn’t go back to it, but god damn, the memories of summer ‘07 playing this in full co-op mode and online with a friend were peak times.
The resistance 2 coop mode is one of the best coop modes in gaming history IMO

Resistance and Killzone used to be my favorite FPS in PS3
Killzone 1, 2 and 3 is an amazing trilogy. Played the hell of it online too. Great game. Great times.
To me Blacksite Area 51 and Killzone 1 and 2 are the best fps of their generation no doubt.
The Russians were metal af to keep the Chimerans contained for over 10 years.
The chimera if im not mistaken took over russia and secluded themselves until their invasion force was ready

Me and my uncle loved playing this game together. He hanged himself in 2020 wish I could go back and play through with him just one more time 😢

The good old days, fantastic multiplayer. Weapons kept simple. Hardly any outlandish stuff unlike today's games

This was one of the games I bought before I was even able to track down a PS3 about 3 weeks after launch. After completing it , I played it over again couch co-op with a friend. Great game.

This game should be remade completely with today's technology, same goes for the entire trilogy. I can't wait to see the walkthrough of the third one, which was the best one of the three and quite a leap forward in terms of dramatic intensity and technical prowess.

I remember playing this splitscreen with friends back in 07/08 (high) beating the game on every difficulty, then we unlocked the superhuman difficulty which was challenging tho. This game was so dope for real I loved it.

Probably one of my top 10 video game campaigns in terms of shooters. Loved the boots on the ground gritty sci-fi war gameplay. It was basically a sci-fi horror version of Call of Duty (or Medal of Honor). Too bad they abandoned the setting, concept and style by the time Resistance 3 came around. Resistance 3 was just a generic lonewolf shooter.
Quake 4, Stroggification, the lone marine who had been turned into “one of them” - same story, but nice graphics though 😊. Shooting mechanics is Gears of War like.
If gears of war was placed in the 40s

We need a reboot that all keep the same style from the first game. The 2nd and 3rd were both bad and are what killed the series.

And also I played all resistance games like resistance 1 and resistance 2 and also resistance 3 the best one was residence 2 but I don't like the bad ending if you're wondering what's the bad ending it's the character you play got killed because he turned into a zombie and you will get another character you play in resistance 3

did they ever explain how the mutants made their weapons?
This 06 game is awesome, but there's a couple of issues. The mobs don't respond to bullets. They don't get stunned, pushed back, or flail around. They just absorb them while they keep moving, shooting back, and melee attacking, until they lose that last point of health. Also, bullets don't do much damage, so you have to spray and pray, with frequent reloading. It aggravates my OCD because that's not how bullets work. lol
Bullets also don’t hitscan like in cod, but nobody plays video games because they enjoy realism
