- Dana Vulin was a stunning, fun-loving young woman who didn't have a care in the world - until she was set alight in her own home. I can't believe that woman only got seventeen years. She should have life in prison. The victim is still suffering and that lady will be out soon and enjoy her life. That's horrible.

I agree and no matter of her own past obstacles, she pulled through. With the grace of the Lord, class, and the sheer will to live is absolutely amazing. May God grant her some peace and continue to heal her inside and out.
This is a very very brave woman. I also think the perpetrator should have life in prison.

I was a Paramedic for 37 years. I've seen 75% burn coverage and the pain it causes not only the patient but the family. While I worked, I always tried to make each patient comfortable, if by nothing else, by controlling their pain until we reached the burn center. You are an amazing strong lady. I'm sure you will get back to helping people again. You're too strong not to. I never understand why people get angry at the "other" woman/man. It's your partner you should be confronting. They're the one's who went there, regardless of who the other person is.

I have read her book and she is still a beautiful and strong woman. I am amazed at how well she has done and how she lives life to the fullest. Personally, I don't think 17 years is enough for the person who did this to her. If people get the chance, read her book, "Worth Fighting For". It's really amazing. The photos show how incredibly far she's come. I wish her all the best.
My thoughts were that horrendously it could have been worse because she could have lost her eyesight as well. Kudos to the people that came to her rescue. And yes, beauty is only skin deep.

She had 3rd degree burns over 60 % of her body, did you see her torso when she took her shirt off????? 3rd degree burns are definitely life threatening and certainly when it covers OVER half your body. There was no guarantee she would survive, so many things could go wrong during recovery. I would not wish that on anybody, even my very worst enemy. Burn recovery is the absolute worst experience possible. How callous of you.

The last update I've seen showed she had made huge progress even since this interview. She's had multiple surgeries since this aired and her face looks extremely good considering what she went through.
The woman who did this is a beast and the family members and friends who helped her as beastly. Prayers to this incredibly strong woman and her supportive family.

Such an amazing story and yet so mentally disturbing. I also most cried after hearing the mother share her side of the story. This was a great story to have covered.
When she took off her top, the damage done to her was horrific! How could anyone do something like that to someone? The photos of her in hospital were shocking. Burns over 64% of her body…. It’s a miracle she didn’t die. As for the woman who did it to her, it’s unbelievable. I understand that she thought her husband was seeing Dana behind her back, but burning her alive?! Unthinkable!! I hope that Natalia is thinking about what she did while she rots in jail!

This is just unbelievably heart wrenching. I feel speechless, the pain is so raw and it hurts so uch to watch it.
She is so beautiful and it has very very little to do with her looks, (although her eyes are mesmerizing) her character and light are where that beauty lay.
Have you all seen the way she looks now? Her face skin has been reconstructed to a point where you can't almost perceive any damage, it is like a miracle, she waers no mask anymore and wears revealing sport and summer clothes that show the burns of her body skin without any shame, after a moment you even forget they exist. Her major beauty was never on the outside but the inside and that came shining through, what a brave and incredible woman!
A moment of jealousy got one woman arrested while the other one has to live like the burned victim she is, it's not fair on the burned victim though. The woman should not be released, she is danger to society.
It's not only her looks that made her beautiful. But she has a beautiful spirit as well.

I just heard of this sad story from this video! I can't believe the perpetrator got only 17 years, I hope there is karma. I can't say here what I think of her because yt will give me a warning lol. but I am sure most people will have the same words if not more. There really are people with black hearts, no souls, to go through with such a cowardly act, is despicable. As humans we should know where the line is. I am saddened that the justice system is bad in Australia and they don't think about the poor victims.
Thank god for laser now.I hope her skin will get better and better. The way she looked lovingly towards her little nephew at at the end made me choke up. May there be karma for that devil woman that did this.

not really, in America she might have gotten 25 years which many first degree murderers get but this was a long sentence for Australia. I 100% agree that it's not enough, not even just out of feeling hate for that monstrous woman who did that, but also because someone who is capable of something like this is a danger to society

My narcissistic abusive husband ended up having an affair with another woman...someone I thought was a friend of mine. He ultimately left me for her & they got married just as soon as our divorce was final. About 10-years later I happen to run into her one day. She apologized & said, "I bet you hate me dont you?" I looked her right in the eyes & I said "No I thank you every single day." She looked very surprised & said, "Thank me? Why?" I said, "Because what was once my problem is now yours!"
The beauty this woman has just shines though the mask. You can see truly actually see it. Bless her, she is an angel . An inspiration to the world.

@Hélia Alves Sorry, but that's like giving someone a lighter sentence for vehicular manslaughter because he or she was intoxicated while driving. However, I'm unaware of any drunk driver who got into his/her car with the intent of running over a person, whereas Natalie Dimitrovska _intended_ to harm/murder Dana Vulin, as well as avoid taking accountability. Thank God she was apprehended in the nick of time!

As a fellow Serbian, just like her, this hits me hard. It is unbelievable torture and her mental heath, her soul, just crushed.
There is so much cruelty in this world, from stories like this one, to honor killings, to chris watts story...the world has gone insane and I cannot image what she has gone through. I cant be unemotional, but not arrogantly, nor in a need to show off, but if one would just look at Serbian's history, they'd see how much harrowing situations and wars we have all been through. We are a tough race and can get through anything. We are fighters. We are survivors.
