Oh my gosh, her daughters were born on the same month and day as my mother (March 14). My father killed my mother on June 8, 1961. He then killed himself. She was 21 years old. I was intended victim #3 but she lured him away. Anjum, I am so sorry for your loss.

I think she did it as a punishment. In her mind, she's doing the opposite of what he wanted, which was to be cremated. She buried him next to the girls so he could feel how much he made everyone suffer, if that makes sense.
He could've said, "I don't want to be buried next to them, I want to be cremated." When he was pointing the gun to himself he could've said that and prompted the mom to do totally the opposite so he wouldn't get his last wish.

It's weird seeing comments telling the woman who went through this how she should feel. This is traumatizing of course some of her decisions may not be what we as outsiders think they should be. Just be thankful it's not your story or the story of someone you love.
She definitely still holds tons of resentment towards him. He never treated her right which is why she left, but he was probably good to the kids before he snapped. That seems to be what she meant. She will never forgive him, doesn't acknowledge him, and won't be buried near him. She also hinted at that if she had more time to make choices, she may have made different ones. Try not to judge people. She went through a lot.

That scream was similar to mine when informed one of my sons was shot and killed. It will grieve me forever...and it is five and a half years since my son was killed on Father’s Day 2015. I raised his son. So I was blessed with that. My heart goes out to this woman. God Bless.

I live close by to st. Charles. I stop the condo the night it happened. And I also stop by the house to leave flowers but saw signs everywhere saying wishing them happy 17th or whatever age they r. I asked the kiddos what's that mean. And they said that today was their birthday. I can't believe it's was one year ago today. I pass by that condo everyday i go visit my aunt and uncle. It just reminds me of what happened
The mom is not innocent at all, she trick her girls multiple times into going back to their father, and never tried to help them even when he was sexually harassing them.

You got to remember like she said, she had a week and was not in her right mind. This reminds me about a story in my hometown. Two boys were kidnapped in 2007/2008 and killed by their father and the father then killed himself. I feel for the mother. 😭😭😭

Weave megan... It probably never went to court. The Dad told the Mom to find another place to live, and she complied. Based on finances, and the fact that the girls were living and settled in the house, she most likely found that to be best at the time. The girls were a year away from being 18, so custody battles and child support battles, and moving the girls from their home probably seemed like more than was necessary at the time, and I commend her for that.
She must still be in shock to say she put flowers on his grave for being a good father. He could have given those girls anything they’ve wanted up until that point but he disqualified himself from being called a good father when he ended their lives.

Why do dispatchers have to ask for an address in this day and age. I made a prank call 20 yrs ago and the cops showed up at my door 5 minutes later. Because most folks call 911 from a cellphone, and the location of the tower where the call is pinging from, may not be the location of where the person actually is. 20 years ago, everyone used a landline.

911 operators do get frustrated, but I think hearing that moms dreadful scream let him know this was something serious and this lady was seeing something that was probably beyond help and he maybe just wanted to calm her down and send her help.. Idk but he did well. Hearing her screams broke my heart.

When people go through extreme pain, it’s traumatic. I think a part of her does not allow her to fully comprehend what occurred so it’s why she still has to see him as a “good father”. I think she did it as a punishment. In her mind, she's doing the opposite of what he wanted, which was to be cremated. She buried him next to the girls so he could feel how much he made everyone suffer, if that makes sense.
He could've said, "I don't want to be buried next to them, I want to be cremated." When he was pointing the gun to himself he could've said that and prompted the mom to do totally the opposite so he wouldn't get his last wish.

The mother is very strong. She talks about them with can open smile the whole way through. That takes a lot of acceptance.

I live close by to st. Charles. I stop the condo the night it happened. And I also stop by the house to leave flowers but saw signs everywhere saying wishing them happy 17th or whatever age they r. I asked the kiddos what's that mean. And they said that today was their birthday. I can't believe it's was one year ago today. I pass by that condo everyday i go visit my aunt and uncle. It just reminds me of what happened

You got to remember like she said, she had a week and was not in her right mind. Maybe the plots were already bought for when their time came and maybe she didn't have the financial means to have him buried elsewhere. Weave megan... It probably never went to court. The Dad told the Mom to find another place to live, and she complied. Based on finances, and the fact that the girls were living and settled in the house, she most likely found that to be best at the time. The girls were a year away from being 18, so custody battles and child support battles, and moving the girls from their home probably seemed like more than was necessary at the time, and I commend her for that.

Because most folks call 911 from a cellphone, and the location of the tower where the call is pinging from, may not be the location of where the person actually is.

@@skintight7011 it's just really hard for me to wrap my head around. I don't care about walking away from a man but I don't think I'd be able to leave my children but everyone situation is different and I'm trying not to be an ass about this you know. Regardless it was something ugly that happened

@@poppergurl I thought about that too. A lot of the times the Dad would have to have a case against the mom but every state is different and like you said if he had the money then more than likely it went in his favor.

What’s really important is therapy and the improvement of her overall mental health because what she had to witness is more than horrific it’s a tragedy, she met the devil in person.

How can anyone move on after such a tragedy? This lady is very strong. I feel so sad and bad for her but also admire her strength and courage. I wonder if she would ever start over? I am just so sad seeing this.... so painful😭

Yes. So often they seem detached and lacking empathy when dealing with extremely traumatic situations.
911 operators do get frustrated, but I think hearing that moms dreadful scream let him know this was something serious and this lady was seeing something that was probably beyond help and he maybe just wanted to calm her down and send her help.. Idk but he did well. Hearing her screams broke my heart.
I literally thought about what I would say to a person who said that if I was a 911 dispatcher. I have no clue how I would calm someone down in a moment like that
No one should ever get angry at her when responding to such a traumatic event. The 911 operator seems like a good man, he was trying very hard to help her, but unfortunately it was too late. I feel so bad for this poor woman and her kids. I hope she will able to get her life together.
I’m still perplexed as to why she would bury her girls next to their murderer regardless of her state of mind.

Can't understand that wither and giving him flowers because she said he was a good father. I don't see that a good father would kill there children. Good fathers love there child/children
She said his wish was to be cremated. Instead she wanted the satisfaction of knowing that he was buried beside his daughters that he murdered. It's punishment for him.

This is horrifying it’s so sad when children die at the hands of the people who were supposed to protect them. This case reminds me so much of the Amina and Sarah murders, truly heartbreaking especially when girls die at the hands of their fathers.

I specifically thought of that case too. Although, it had more of a religious motive. I’m still confused as to why this guy decided to murder his 2 beautiful daughters.

When people go through extreme pain, it’s traumatic. I think a part of her does not allow her to fully comprehend what occurred so it’s why she still has to see him as a “good father”. She also says when “they passed away” rather than murdered. I think her pain is so strong, she has to rationalize it a bit. Poor thing, I can’t even imagine the daily pain 🥺

@@magnarcreed3801 its called denial. Its one of the stages of grief. She seems as though she has made such little progress in managing her grief, that not only has she not gotten past denial, but let it consume her.

I lost my daughter a year and a half ago. I can’t imagine losing two children. I still have a hard time getting through the day, I don’t know how you do it. GOD BLESS YOU AND THEMGIRLS. I’m,so incredibly sorry 😢.
