I just use ‘Navionics’ which is the Ap name, on my iPhone. If you mark every fish you catch, and even bite you get, you eventually map out the hot spots.
Thanks, yes, St Kilda, I generally find the fish in 5-6 meters of water. My strategy is to move every 15 mins, if I don't get a bite, for flathead I never anchor either, always drift.
No need to "woose it" just put your thumb in the flatties gob (grab bottom lip) and you'll have a cool rough spot on your thumbs to remind you that you had a great day catching flatties for a week or so ;) I bloody ALWAYS end up with a sore hand from those spines on the gills too... I always forget about them....
Mate from "Fishing coz I can Mate" sent me over to check your channel out. I will watch all your vid's over the next while. Also subscribed and hit the bell. I'm in South Australia and fish the Coorong and Gulf of St Vincent. I don't have a lot of fishing video's but will add them as I can. Cheers.
No worries mate Cheers for that, I'll remember to let my mates know when we go fishing. My uncle told me to be careful of the spikes so i was thinking ther be poisonous.
I’m a bit late but was just wondering what depth you normally are in for flathead fishing
Normally 4-6 meters, but best to move until you find them.
nice vid man ...use squid of fresh pillys get good size snapper from that
Nice video mate! Subscribed
What Navionics app do you use?

Awesome video man, I love your channel! You had some really nice American lures, were u fishing at St Kilda and how deep were u fishing?

Once the weather warms up I will do some land based stuff, might be more helpful to you if you fish more land based.
MarX Fishing Oh yeah cool. Also what were u filming with? Quality is amazing 👌🏼
Luke's Fishing Thanks, GoPro Hero 4 Silver.

Yeah, I know that feeling, get spiked too often really. I should have learned by now.

Great Video Mate!!!!!
How flat is the bay wow
Hi, do you prefer braid or mono? What weight line do you use?
jeff61 lure fishing braid, with fluorocarbon leader. I use 10 to 15Lb braid, and change up the leader spending on the type of fishing I’m doing.
I wonder what bottom lure wouldn’t have worked that day???
Michael Chapman, yeah fishing can be a bit like that, it’s all or nothing sometimes.
just wondering are they spikes on em poisonous ?
Gerva Rod, the spikes are not poisonous, but they have something on them that makes it hurt like heck to be spiked, and bleed really badly.
No worries mate Cheers for that, I'll remember to let my mates know when we go fishing. My uncle told me to be careful of the spikes so i was thinking ther be poisonous.
Gerva Rod, I get spiked from time to time. It hurts, and the bleeding is annoying, but it’s not the worst thing ever.
no worries, you'd prob be used to it by now if ya been spiked many times.
Enjoyed you vid 👍 sub'ed
Nice vid bud 🤙
Robert dinamo, Thanks. That’s was the first video I ever published.
Flathead will eat anything
On the right day they will! On the wrong day they won’t eat anything!
