Fun Fact: Filipino settlers in Mexico during the Spanish colonial era brought over the distillation methods used for processing Lambanog (alongside rice, mangoes, bananas, and the coconut palm) to the New World, and taught the Mexican communities they settled into how to do it. The Mexicans then later found it worked for distilling the Agave plant sap as well, effectively paving the way for the rise of Mezcal and Tequila! 😊🥃

Try “Laughing Horse” (It’s Red Horse but the label at the back is red instead of yellow). It’s rarely found in a case of beer.

For me Heineken taste like RedHourse, but Heineken taste more watery and has less alcohol content than RedHourse. RedHourse is my favorite Beer in the world.. :):)

I retired to the Philippines, but have been going back and forth for over 35 years. I live in Oriental Mindoro now. All my family and friends drink gin, but my wife and I usually drink SML (San Mig Lite). I don't really like regular San Mig beer. It's too bitter. But, being from Texas, I also drink whiskey.
