I haven't tried any foreign alcohols but this video proves that Philippine Alcohols is strong because after they tried Tanduay they suddenly looks tipsy and they laugh more often.

Re: the regular Tanduay, best to mix it with iced tea. If you can't get fruit-infused tea from Asian groceries you can always use Arizona. Or better: make some Southern-style sweet tea.
What we'd do actually is just take a 1L bottle of apple-flavored green+black tea blend and 1L of Tanduay, then pour them both into a 3L pitcher or punchbowl with some ice cubes and slices of apple (or whatever fruit the tea already has infused in it' or lemon if you make sweet tea from scratch) already in there. Stir it just a little bit and start drinking.
I find it funny with the way they drink each beverages. So classy. 😂 Growing up, my uncles were like thugs in the street drinking it. Hahaha. I even experience it myself

Its already 3 years since this video posted, but if you want to enjoy Tanduay rum, you usually just need to fill 1/4 of the shot glass and a sip of pinapple juice to sooth the strong aftertaste after drinking it
now you know the secrets why Filipinos are so happy even in tough times..

Right. Rhum is made from sugarcane juice while Rum is made from molasses. It's not just a spelling difference.

My older brother lives in Austria and when he comes to visit us in Manila he brings back 2 bottles of Tandauy and doesn't even open them. Parang collection niya in case of emergency. I know he sometimes opens for special occasions and cooks with it for dessert ren.

While on holiday in Boracay, I took large shots of Tanduay Dark Rum and I passed out on the beach with a shirt. It gave me a huge sunburn on my face, back and arms. I was out for two hours and woke up around 3 pm. I was drinking that rum since 12:30 pm. I passed out at 1:30 pm and woke up with a headache and massive sunburn.
I remembered my friends from Australia when they tried Tanduay for the first time. One of them rushed to the roadside after drinking 1 shot. It was raining hard and a little bit flooding. LMAO. I miss them ♥

Tanduay Rum most sell in provinces and rural areas in the Philippines, it is very hard to drink and when you get drunk you felt so sick, headache, vomit, you sleep very well around 15hrs and when you woke up you are tired, stress and unconscious...medicine and check up to be followed.

i remember back in highschool,
(dont do this at school) we made rounds of long neck tanduay 5 years hid on a large canteen.
To make it not so obvious, we placed the bag behind the chair's back rest. Its were we hid the large canteen with tanduay in it.
Sitting at the farthest end, shared drinks while in class.
