I remember being like 13/14 and both terrified and amazed by the whole structure of this episode, it's great how you start putting everything together at the same time as Sally which keeps the suspense without making the timeline impossible to understand
@@UnleashTheGhouls One of my favourite episodes the actual house has been restored. I remember one of the Angels episode they were described as killing with kindness
Honestly there were so many Doctor Who episode that traumatised the living shit out of me I can't even think of what was the scariest Doctor who monster but the weeping angels are still such a disturbing concept
I will stick to this for the rest of my life, this is the best doctor who episode, the best concept, and the best execution. It’s literally a masterpiece. Yeah it’s got the wibbly wobbly timey wimey line, but for fucks sake this episode is absolutely incredible.
THIS. THIS. This made me afraid to blink, damn it all. I'm pretty sure I learnt how to keep my eyes open for longer because of this episode. Lor, Doctor Who was terrifying when it wanted to be.
It makes it even worse that they are in an overgrown garden. I think this one and the scarecrow episode were the scariest. The setting of the scarecrow episode was in the middle of a load of fields meaning their is nowhere to really run to. And the way they came over the hill means there could be a whole pack of them. Scary stuff.
This is what makes me scared of statues, while I don't watching remember this episode as a kid (or maybe i tried to forgot it as a kid 🤣🤣), I just remember hearing about it, so I was so scarred, even without seeing it. Now that I watched it, it still makes me jump and I honestly think this is master piece of episode, nice we only know as much as Sally, so keeps the suspense and the real terror of the weeping angels.
I once saw this when there was a Doctor Who marathon on the Sci-Fi channel and I was channel surfing. I was living with my grandpa, who was a sexton for a cemetery, so yeah, I didn't like any human shaped statues for a long time afterwards.
Did I was like 9 when I saw like a clip of the angels moving closer in flashing lights and it fucked me up, like one night I looked in a corner of my and knew it was just boxes but I saw some Angelic lookin faces and cried for like 3 hrs and just kept backing away until I got to the end of the hall
Blink, The Empty Child, Fear Her (yeah I know, leave me alone lol) each made me sleep in my parents bed as a kid😅😅 2000’s Doctor Who was such a peak for British TV.

It really is a masterfully-crafted episode. I wish Doctor Who played around with the concept of time and space more like this

Truly horrifying. Series 3 really did push the boat out for the fear factor!
This will always be my favourite episode
Always so gripping, creepy and emotional. Lawrence is also my favourite side character from Who

Blink was creepy, but the angels were nothing compared to the gas mask kids...
I very may well just have to do a video on those little terrors...
Absolutely, but I still think the overall episode is better in Blink, It’s a close 2nd tho.

Controversial opinion: I actually quite like Fear Hear! That drawing of the dad in the wardrobe screaming "I'M COMING CHLOE" was HORRENDOUS

Wasn't there a doctor who villan that like spat out water?
I believe the villain you're thinking of is The Flood from the episode The Waters of Mars :)
@@UnleashTheGhouls yeah! I remember watching it and having nightmares 😂
A very overated episode with an even more overated monster. It just doesn't hold up on rewatches.
