What I most love about Rhett and Link, is that after this many years, they are still discovering things about not only themselves, but each other and their relationship with each other and their relatinship as it pertains to their careers.
It's wild, how people act and react. x) I am SO Rhett in many ways (planning anxiety, likes to prepare, etc.), yet I am SO Link in other ways (sensitive, quick to anger when anxiety strikes as a response). Love these little talks.
I really relate to Rhett’s self-discovery about having anxiety. I thought it was normal to think that way and I’m usually annoyed when people don’t have the same viewpoint.
How are Rhett and Links coping/anxiety responses both co-existing within me? This was hilarious and felt so true to my experience. Thanks for talking about stuff ☺
rhett your anxieties about constantly being productive are very relatable. i call myself a “go go go” person bc i never can relax! it is hard to give myself those “do nothing” days or even hours, so thank you for the reminder that it is ok to not be in go-mode at all times. love u guys
Thanks for the rec! Even small acknowledgements mean a lot and can reach far, I seriously still think about when Navajo tacos were featured on gmm and how awesome that was to see :)
What I've found that helps me is "It's OK to take time and I'll get there." Also Wu Wei (woo way) It is what it is and let it be what it is. "It" can be a person, situation or even a feeling.
Oof. I feel so seen in Rhett 😂 Thank you for sharing your wisdom from your hard work in therapy with us: "I'm not good at these things *because* I'm anxious. Those things are separate." 🙌🙌🙌
The ski trip logistics causing Rhett so much anxiety makes me feel a bit better than it’s not just me who worries incessantly about how things will work out while on vacation LOL
me ten minutes before landing even starts, with my tray table folded, my seat in upright position, headphones tucked in, hands hovering over my bag and seatbelt buckle: im not anxious, im just efficient!
I felt the same way untill recently, i used to fear an empty canvas. Now i enjoy the process, some things just flop, ill go back another time and sometimes change things up or add to my painting or drawing.
I grew up in Mammoth so I’m glad to see my hometown getting some love from you guys! Miracle March always pulls through, I swear we got more snow in March sometimes than ins Dec/Jan.
I so understand Link saying about how refreshing it was to be in the house without his dogs. It really is peaceful when there is less responsibility to take care of pets. It's a full time job. Sometimes you just need that break, even when you miss them!
58:00 As for deboarding a plane, it should be airline policy that passengers who have an immediate connecting flight should be placed at the front of the plane. And everyone else can just wait their respective turn.
I would watch a sitcom with the two of you after the show, when you are at home and on vacation. Actors play your wife and children, lots of places to put in something quirky and hilarious.
The anxiety with the deboarding thing, i always thought that was a slovak thing. Im from slovakia, and the rush everybody gets into to deboard is very real. You have to be prepared. Same thing at the grocery store, or just anywhere. Slovakia is the kind of country where if it starts raining, and you blink, you'll miss the split second where every single person mysteriously now has a jacket, umbrella, and already sought shelter. It's like the country runs on anxiety...and it's actually one of the reasons I left.
I can trace my travel anxiety back to a specific event....I had always been an anxious child. now imagine a highly anxious 16 year old in charge of their 14 year old sibling flying from GA to NJ alone. My younger sister barely paid attention to anything and I was on HIGH alert. we finally get to the gate and I'm like something is wrong where is everyone? My sister tells me to "chill out" but after 5 minutes I go up to the gate and find out the plane has ALREADY FINISHED BOARDING and they aren't letting anyone else on. The look I gave my sister was the equivalent to Ron on parks and rec 😅
1:00:28 If this is the case then every Japanese person has anxiety. This is how they live their lives. I am convinced that their life long side mission is to not in any way interupt somebody. Get on a Japanese flight with a majority of Japanese passengers... it is insane how many "sumimasen"s you will hear. A Japanese woman tripped on a step in my mom's house during a party for neighbors. The woman broke her ankle. She literally apologized until the moment her son got there (easier than an ambulance where we lived) and closed her car door before taking her to the hospital. Just saying I think the airplane thing is kind of a do unto others as you would have them do unto you thing more than an anxiety thing. Anxiety runs in my family but I do nothing about my own besides deal with it and sometimes I frequently urinate a lot and I get nervous on airplanes.
It probably is prevalent there. Also I'm Indian and here people just stand up as soon as the plane lands which is also imo a manifestation of anxiety cuz there's a lot of unresolved stress and pressure here in everyone's lives.
I’m kind of a mix of both of you…. For example, on normal work days (my job is very different from yours, more administrative stuff) I’m always focused on replying all emails, solving all tasks that come up, just getting things done and “out of the way”… I cram like crazy because I HATEEE doing over time… and people say “wow you’re so fast at solving” but no I’m just anxious lol… and ITS TIRING AF… for holidays, weekends or even “after work” which is when I’m obviously “allowed” to be off, I escape like Link and I am not productive in any other way… that’s why I barely work out too lol 😂
The last 20 minutes was extremely inciting. It got deep in the best way, definitely was one of the best displays this really is a conversation between two long time friends
The travel anxiety is so real! And the constant need to feel like you’re as efficient as possible so as not to disturb those around you… and then being a grouch to everyone who isn’t thinking as exactly what you are thinking because how could anyone be thinking anything else???? I’m logging off. My BPM is up😅😅😅
I hope this doesn't come across a judgy but I often think that when you're talking about you're overthinking that that's from years as a young person into young adult you needed to be monitoring your thoughts all the time your brain being trained that way just translates it to something else
Imagine you're a mythical beast, you're skiing in bad weather n next thing you see is Link Neal flipping you off. You'd think you're in a dream. 😂😂
Hilarious honestly 😂
What I most love about Rhett and Link, is that after this many years, they are still discovering things about not only themselves, but each other and their relationship with each other and their relatinship as it pertains to their careers.
Yes! It's so nice that they are always growing both together and individually!
“There’s a preexisting anxiety that then is trying to find something logical to latch onto to then try to solve a problem”
that one got me
That one hit home 😔
It's wild, how people act and react. x) I am SO Rhett in many ways (planning anxiety, likes to prepare, etc.), yet I am SO Link in other ways (sensitive, quick to anger when anxiety strikes as a response). Love these little talks.
y'all should get butthurt more often, i giggled so much watching this. it's like my friends and i hanging out
Its so Link to flip the angriest bird to a strager, accidentally.
JaidenAnimations did the same thing, thinking Ludwig was behind her
I really relate to Rhett’s self-discovery about having anxiety. I thought it was normal to think that way and I’m usually annoyed when people don’t have the same viewpoint.
Yesss.. this was news to me too.. i thought I'm being so thoughtful and polite.. turns out it's anxiety 😭
How are Rhett and Links coping/anxiety responses both co-existing within me? This was hilarious and felt so true to my experience. Thanks for talking about stuff ☺
I feel like Rhett was in high spirits this episode! The vibe was very jovial
I think thay were both really cute this episode😆teasing each other, being salty about who ghosted who, i was smiling throughout the whole thing
rhett your anxieties about constantly being productive are very relatable. i call myself a “go go go” person bc i never can relax! it is hard to give myself those “do nothing” days or even hours, so thank you for the reminder that it is ok to not be in go-mode at all times. love u guys
57:42 the only mantra that helps me is “Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but doesn’t get you anywhere.”
Thanks for the rec! Even small acknowledgements mean a lot and can reach far, I seriously still think about when Navajo tacos were featured on gmm and how awesome that was to see :)
I just came to the video version to say Jenna’s “holy trinity” comment was hilarious! I was not prepared. 😂
10/10
My anxiety has been very high recently and I'm so glad I got to hear this podcast. You all rock ❤ love mythical. Always there at the right times.
What I've found that helps me is "It's OK to take time and I'll get there." Also Wu Wei (woo way) It is what it is and let it be what it is. "It" can be a person, situation or even a feeling.
I love this podcast. You don’t know how much I need this in my mornings
Oof. I feel so seen in Rhett 😂 Thank you for sharing your wisdom from your hard work in therapy with us: "I'm not good at these things *because* I'm anxious. Those things are separate." 🙌🙌🙌
I stand with link. I love my pet more than anything on this earth but not having an extra step after waking up and going to bed is nice
It can definitely be a lot sometimes!
I’m literally on vacation right now and brought my cats with me because I would’ve been too anxious leaving them with anyone else including my mom😂
Exactly why I’m a cat person.
same! I'm obsessed with my dog but some days I just love putting her in daycare and having a break haha
The ski trip logistics causing Rhett so much anxiety makes me feel a bit better than it’s not just me who worries incessantly about how things will work out while on vacation LOL
Dont forget that him realizing his anxieties was a first step towards addressing and mitigating it
i really appreciated rhett’s insight about his anxieties as a fellow anxious mythical beast! some very interesting things to think about
This is probably one of my most fav ear biscuits ever
36:20 "Nothing for you, Sir" as a response to two options is too funny and definitely now in my one-liner vocabulary 😂
No. Way.... I just decided to listen to an episode end just in time, there's a new one. AND it's about vacation. 🎉🤩
It's like a reward.
My dad and I both have travel anxiety. My dad developed the mantra "new plan". When things aren't going to plan we say okay new plan and don't dwell.
I have an upcoming trip. I’ll try this, thanks!
I sprained my back over the weekend so GMM and ear biscuits is all I have to stay in touch with reality rn.
To whoever is listening, I hope you have a great day and be your mythical best ❤
me ten minutes before landing even starts, with my tray table folded, my seat in upright position, headphones tucked in, hands hovering over my bag and seatbelt buckle: im not anxious, im just efficient!
I really relate to how Rhett thinks, its really enlightening to hear how someone else with a really similar way of thinking manages it. ❤❤❤
good morning ear biscuit fans
good morning!
@@nosidamregnis i just peeped that you also watch lindseyrem and i think we need to be friends LOL
Ear biscuit enjoyers vs gmm fans
Ear biscuiteers!
Good afternoon earbiscuiteer
I really like this show. Thank you.
Rhett's beautiful curls🔥
Was hoping we'd get a return of Little Michael lol
I felt the same way untill recently, i used to fear an empty canvas. Now i enjoy the process, some things just flop, ill go back another time and sometimes change things up or add to my painting or drawing.

link finally recognising that cats are the superior pet =D
Now all we have to do I get Rhett on board. 😂
I love these guys! So funny! ❤
I’ve always really related to Rhett, being an enneagram 3 with anxiety, so I love when he has breakthroughs because it’s like I do too 😂
I'm the same way, Rhett. I catch myself being too controlling to soothe my anxiety of needing a plan in my head.
Zoltan is great!!!! Follow him!!!
Seconded! I love him too!
Yesss! I found him from his “Jessica the cat” story. He’s hilarious.
I so understand Link saying about how refreshing it was to be in the house without his dogs. It really is peaceful when there is less responsibility to take care of pets. It's a full time job. Sometimes you just need that break, even when you miss them!
Where did link get his armadillo hat in the picture?!!😍
58:00 As for deboarding a plane, it should be airline policy that passengers who have an immediate connecting flight should be placed at the front of the plane. And everyone else can just wait their respective turn.
Once they give the like 10 minute call for landing - I'm getting fully prepared to deboard.
I would watch a sitcom with the two of you after the show, when you are at home and on vacation. Actors play your wife and children, lots of places to put in something quirky and hilarious.
I never thought I'd hear them mention our labneh, perfect pronunciation too! It's delicious on bread with olives, but only Rhett would like it 😂
7:47 Cat Person Becomer 🎉
Awesome job boy with the podcast drop a like.

I have the same anxiety as Rhett and it's mind blowing to me that someone else with anxiety can think differently
It would be a fun time to have Zoltan on GMM guys please
“You didn’t touch your rice!” 😂
Aww when rhett said link looked like santa's little helper😢❤
Been watching these guys since they danced in a zebra costume. Weve never met, but theyre certified friends forever
Classic gmm story
“Well, I’m here. Here I am.” 😂
You know what... you can do the dishes tomorrow ❤ love you link!
I relate too much to Rhett freaking out because he cant relax. 😂
Sean is a cartoon dog. Least shocking thing of 2024.
I can trace my travel anxiety back to a specific event....I had always been an anxious child. now imagine a highly anxious 16 year old in charge of their 14 year old sibling flying from GA to NJ alone. Rhett’s hair is giving 90s Blake Shelton and I’m loving it 😂
You two are adorable 😊
Zoltan is one of the best comedians out there.
1:00:28 If this is the case then every Japanese person has anxiety. This is how they live their lives. I am convinced that their life long side mission is to not in any way interupt somebody.

The location conversation absolutely killed me lmao
Thanks,now I'm craving shrimp 😋😂
Link’s concern about battery life is legitimate. Permanent location sharing has ended relationships for me for this exact reason.
3:00 - 3:28
25:24 "I assumed he was doing some sort of dolly shot, and I was angry" - 26:10
I’m pretty sure that a while ago on Ear Biscuits, they talked about a time Link dealt with a stressful situation by going to bed. 😂
58:04 Most Relatable sht EVER 😂🥹😭💀
they need to go skydiving together lol
I have grown accustomed to Link wearing a Pepsi hat.
This episode is literally just me and my husband 100%
Thank you for spending the beginning of this episode reinforcing every reason why I'm a cat person. 🙃
Mantra about fear. "I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer...."
So funny I just saw this same comedian and related.
Correct me if you think I’m wrong but Rhett’s plane thing is probably a good thing to have
Tax season and tons of hours, look forward to this lol. Good morning everyone!
Some day ill binge 😅
😂 the bill
“Wants a lil bit of this Linkski”
Goodnight Earbiscuit fans
“Persnickety” hahahaha
yall talking about anxiety and therapist stuff is really helpful, thanks for the insight into you guys' minds from a fellow anxiety-haver
I’m kind of a mix of both of you…. Awesome……
Link is definitely more capable in physical things then he thinks he is
Link i am with you about the dogs!
They are toddlers with fur!😂
Is there a bubba gumps in the LA area?
There’s a couple
THAT ZOLTAN CLIP IS......... SO. MY MIND. TO A TEE. O_O
I'm here watching friend
Rhett and Link do NOT make having a dog sound appealing 😂
The last 20 minutes was extremely inciting. It got deep in the best way, definitely was one of the best displays this really is a conversation between two long time friends
What holiday wknd? Lol
BISCUIT BUDS!
1:01:30 the mantra should be "I'm just a boy" 😂
The travel anxiety is so real! And the constant need to feel like you’re as efficient as possible so as not to disturb those around you… and then being a grouch to everyone who isn’t thinking as exactly what you are thinking because how could anyone be thinking anything else???? Why has no one said Josh is Scherering his recipes with the world lol 😂
❤
