Abandoned Building w/ Vintage OTIS Elevator - Urban Exploration Virginia

Come along today as we venture inside an abandoned building surrounded by historic and vacant Richmond Structures. This includes factories and warehouses of various uses. The most well known being Fulton Gas Works. These complexes were used to power and industrialize Richmond throughout the 19th-20th centuries. This explore was conducted in summer 2020.

The mid 20th century elevator was the highlight of the explore. It provided the entry and the most unique features from the initial construction period. It was a freight elevator used to move the substances that was manufactured and/or distributed here.
