- Hacked Instagram Account: If you have had your Instagram Account Hacked, like I did, here are the steps you need to take to reclaim your account. Recently my Instagram account was hacked and as frustrating as it was, I managed to regain ownership of my account.

I would just like to thank everyone that took the opportunity to comment with dumb promotions for accounts, all with 'hacker' in their name, that claim to be able to restore your account for a payment. If you are dumb enough to try any of these accounts, good luck. The only possible way that they could restore your account was if they were the one that hacked it in the first place! That all said, the number of comments always helps a videos ranking so thank you for that.

I don't get the page where it says submit request form. It just takes me to the help center when i press need more help
The problem is Instagram isn’t much help, I did exactly what you said in the video and sent a picture of myself with the code they sent me and still no reply from them. My account has been hacked for days now and nothing has been done by instagram that’s why people resort to sending hackers messages to solve the problem. I have sent various emails through the method on your video and still no help from the Instagram team
@@oye2436 I totally agree, after making this video my account locked me out again two weeks later and I have not managed to get it back since. Instagram has a problem with hacking and seems to do very little about it.

This does NOT work with Android though unfortunately. I was so excited thinking I found the answer . Even had a friend come over with her Iphone but it wouldnt let me log in from a unrecognized phone. Supper devastating. I was trying to follow the steps on your video in hopes this would work to get it back but unfortunately when i click "need more help?" it sends me to a different page than yours. it sends me to "help center" page with steps to follow but none of them request a selfie video. When I press "need more help" on android, it just sends me to the help center...I cant get to the actual restore account screen that you're getting to. Please help. Pissing me of!!
I did have a similar issue, try changing the login method from email to phone number or vise versa. I have to be honest Instagrams method of helping users is terrible at best. Good luck.

ok I kinda have a step forward from this. Get chrome extension called earth VPN. Turns out the support link only works in the us so this vpn will set your location. Hi Jessica, unfortunately not. I have always had issues with Instagram, from being followed by accounts with 10,000 followers and no posts etc. After changing all of details and securing the account I lost access again two weeks later, despite contacting them through every channel I can find, still no joy. Reading all of the BS comments on this video about people who you pay to get your account back just proves that Insatgram do not do enough or care that much about their users. I keeping reading these comments and thinking that the guy they paid probably was the one that hacked their account in the first place!

Sadly, I do not think this fix works anymore. I have been trying for two days and these options just do not seem to exist properly anymore. I think Instagram changed it to make it way harder for some reason.
My account was hacked yesterday and the hacker made me followed 900 strangers yet still sending out requests. I managed to unfollow 600 before IG limited my activities. i can't do anything but let it cool down before I removed the rest. I already changed my password. What else should I do?
None of this works I'm on android and it just keeps sending me to the help center articles... my emails take me to the same place there's no way to revert the changes. Does anyone have a link to the support form I can't find anything...

nice but what if the person has changed your email attatched to the one with your instagram profile too? thery have put there recovery info in the email section when it says forgot password? they have there phone number,email so i cannot even get into my email or my instgram account has been removed or broken it says

Hackers got me too in April, my account got hacked, I couldn't get back into my account after so many failed attempts. This got me super frustrated because my account is my only means to communicate with my online school course instructor. I got help from Brandon and in short period of time I was able to get back into my account.
