I know I always think about the movie Where the Heart Is with Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd. How she had the baby in Wal-Mart. She ended up getting some money and a lifelong offering of a job. Lol. So Jocelyn should definitely try for Goodwill see if she can get a lifetime discount!!! Lol!

Hi Jocelyn,
Just wanted to let you know that the silver colored artichoke salt and peppers would have been a great pick-up. (4:57) The one was not broken. The leaf just needed to be pushed back onto the mounting holes. It is a reproduction of a Artichoke Salt and Pepper Mill Solid Silver Venetian Missiaglia Design sold at Neiman Marcus at one time. Still would have brought around 150 dollars unlike the Originals which can sell for thousands. Hope you and your family including baby to be are doing well .
I was gonna write that but thought against it because I didn’t want to make the extremely pregnant lady cry. They tend to be emotional over things like that.
I would have picket up the wooden box with the broken clasp. The clasps can easily be replaced and the box was beautiful.
Sourcing from GW is always low expectations in my area. The employees pick over everything to be sent to their auctions. I source almost exclusively from estate sales. One day I'm going to make it to PA to see a GW where not everything is missing its lids or full of chippies. Thanks for the shop along. Love your cute nails.

I've been enjoying your thrifting for about a month now, watching old ones too. Last fall, you found a Homer Laughlin Kraft Blue creamer, and the day I watched that one, I picked up the Kraft Blue sugar bowl! lol! Also, I laughed when you peeled back a sticker and saw Antique Renderings (or something like that) and you laughed, saying if they have to say antique, you know it's not an antique! I saw the same brand today while thrifting! lol
You may be able to pop the dent out of the canister by heating it with a hair dryer and then pushing on it.
Storms trigger labor too. I think you'll announce the new little one tomorrow!

I'm sure that you've already done the research but just in case....The Bailey's mug was part of a fundraising event that actress Helen Hunt was involved with in Los Angeles. It's more rare than a regular Baileys mug but not overly valuable. I do collect them if you don't care to list it!

I've found very interesting pieces and items over the years now here's the issue. I have things I don't know what to do with but I have a feeling are worth something. I don't know who to contact. It was a joy watching you my love 💕 keep searching 🙏 one day when I'm able to afford my own home I am dedicated to making mt home a vintage home with old TV's and items ❤️

Pizza boxes are great for shipping large flat items. I get mine from my local bar who makes home-made pizzas. They buy them in bulk so get great prices and they pass the savings on to me !!!

Sweet grass smells sweet
When I was doing flower arrangements I would clean my flowers. Put salt in a garbage and tie it up and shake it all around for about 10 minutes.

Sometimes you can find that things get missed. I saw a man get a really old antique chinese vase the other day.
I know they make millions and millions with their online sells somebody is sucking up some money Goodwill should not be called Goodwill should change don't seem like to much for the disability anymore just sucking up the millions

Those aluminum cannisters were exactly the style my mom had.
Great haul, that toboggan was awesome, brought back memories. It's a wonder we survived. Lol! Crazy times.

Those plastic pizza slice plates weren't sold in a set. There were only a couple of patterns and each was sold individually. My kids ate a lot of pizza off ours.
Glass cleaner is good for cleaning dust and grime on knick knacks,just spray well and let sit for few minutes. Than rinse with water.Careful though because it will remove paint on the outside of glaze.Test first. Also works well for fake flowers.
The fish metal art could have hung on the kid's bathroom. It would have looked really cool.
Good evening, the sweet grass basket may be a Gullah. Made in South Carolina. They are mostly 20th century and made by African American women. Recently on a visit, to either a Home Goods or a TJ Maxx, the made in China repros where in abundance. I'm not sure from your clip if yours is new or vintage. Thank you for sharing, Joan.

I am from Pennsylvania, when you said Mechanicsburg it surprised me. I lived in Carlisle and Mechanicsburg also and other little towns around. The last time I was there it has changed so much. Enjoy watching you. Looking for re-selling also. I found something in one of our little thrift stores and didn't get them because they didn't have the metal stands that were with them. Now I'm kicking myself. Don't know why, but yeah. They were canisters and were so unique. Can't remember the name of them tho. Need to get set up on ebay yet. Collections getting more and more tho.. would like to know, what do you use for shipping. Have a printer? I have one but don't know of it works now and needs ink. Please let me know.

I lived in East Greenwhich after I was married, and had my baby girl at Newport Navel Hospital. So funny hearing anyone talk about home. Most people don't even know where RI is. Today is 6- 13 and I'm watching and waiting on your little one to hurry up and make an appearance
