- Hey everyone it's your girl coming at you with another video. I'm checking out some more #kamenrider videos. I'm checking out some evil or #darkriders today and I have to say I deeply enjoyed doing this video. I hope you all enjoy this video! I know I was supposed to live stream last Sunday but I felt under the weather and am trying to make sure I at the very least get a video or 2 out on my regular posting days. The live streams will come back though so just keep checking!

To summarize, what constitutes as a dark rider in the series are riders that basically serve as the dark/evil counterpart or antithesis of the respective hero they mirror
Kamen Rider Eternal is one of my favorite dark rider.
You will like his story.

So it's not impossible Kamen Rider Gaoh's suit has some pieces of Kuro Kishi Hyuuga's from _Seijuu Sentai Gingaman_ ( _Super Sentai Series_ counterpart of Magna Defender from _Power Ranger Lost Galaxy_ ). But Gaoh doesn't have a similar story anyway.

Kamen rider Evol is one of the best villians in kamen rider and my personal favourite. in fact everything happened in build because he was the one pulling the strings behind the curtains the entire show. Even the MC becoming a kamen rider is because of him. Also i just love his design.

used to be that the main bad guys were mega monsters. but after 80s, the main villains were dark riders who were the opposites of the protags.

@@bookishnerdygirl the most brutal kaijin/ monster men for me were kitazaki, the dragon orphenoch from mask rider 555 faiz, and the lion fangire rook from mask rider kiva. kamen is nihongo for mask.

quick, spoiler free explanation. evil riders are all mostly evil, or at least jerks enough to just want them kicked in the tooth. they mostly happears in film and specials, only latelly they becomme more commonplace in the series proper
-evil computer on stolen paramilitary gear, and missiles, just, missiles. the guy is honestly not really important
-evil clone from the other side of the mirror. the card goes in, the dragon pukes flaming dakness, then it's kick time
-previously friend now enemy with much more powerfull phone, the knife become a sword, then it's charged with energy
-rogue guy, the sword becomes empowered therought artificial monster card (the monsters have TRUE immortality, so even if they explode, youseal them in the cards and grab a part of their powers for the attack)
-rider from the warring past. just being an ass
-evil guy with style and the season powerup. he just punches VERY fast
-evil time travelling thief that stole an ancient time travelling train. he's got a croccosword
[-missing here, protagonist evil lookalike for no good reason. he got the same gun-sword
[-missing here, possessing ghost that took control of the main protagonist, he's got a ghost sword
[-missing here, the boss of said ghost, he's got a BIG sword made out of 2 regular sword and a whip
-evil spirit commanding a few classic monster. he big. he uses the dark power sealed on the moon for a final powerup
-long story short, he's not really evil, just a jerk because he came back from the dead; has a USB memory with the power to freeze enemies in place and a knife. he also has unicorn-powered punch and a "I have ALL the USB memorys fuckoff ball" (the one from the other video)
-water based rider from the future, afraid of water and doesn't know how to swim, uses the evil-mind-controllin medals. has a water-trydent
-litterally jafar from disney's aladin, but in gold instead of red. has a lot of (magic) tricks up his sleeve, he trowhs magic meteorites
[-missing here, the evil-equivalent-from-another-world-of-the-protagonis with a BloodOrange armor instead of the regular one, he's got a sword and a plan against nature
[-missing here, grieving father using the skeletal fruit-of-the-dead, he's got copies of other rider power
-homumculus from another world made with a copy of the fruit of Knowledge. he's got a sword&shield combo and a lot of attitude
[-missing here, said homunculus, back from the dead and possessing a high school girl
-too long to explain, the guy's a thief and he stole stuff from EVERYONE. the weapon thing is at the same time a knuckleduster, a gun, a sword, and a pirate download server
-asshole ghost royalty from ghost land, he convinced Napoleon to give him his power of being an historical figure. he's an asshole
[-missing here, current CEO of an evil videogame company, LITTERAL evil pallette swap of the protagonist
[-seen here for a second, the red&blu guy, too spoilery, he has the power of figthing game AND puzzle game on his side
-the evil previous CEO of an evil videogame company. the guy has a "game paused when the menu is open" kind of deal. and he can reload 'previous saves'. also, he can change the 'stage' where he fighitg around just by willing it
-still him, he assorbed the final boss power, now he also has a sword, and a shield-with-chain. and a pallette swap. [small note on the third fight, gun guy stole his power, but the base version, so in this green is good, yellow is evil
-Evol alien imitating emotion a penchant for cobras and black holes. he opens a mini-black hole and kicks you with it
-still him, possesing the secondary rider. now he's blue and dragon-y
-him yet again, this time in the main charather body. now he's a little bunny
-STILL HIM, now at full power. now he kick you TRHOUGHT the black hole
-time travel and altenate fuckery, he's not the protagonist but he says he is, using the power of an older rider, then the one from one of his teamates to become giant (which is from yet another older rider)
-missing the more recent one: team of robot that want to extinguish humanity, purple swordman who only sees bad futures, corrupted head of anti-book-monster organization, said book monster general, and current guy
to answer the belt thing, sometimes, usually not tho. the difference is litterally "has the hit impaled from side to side?". usually they either blow up, melt down after being hit, or lose the trnasformation and die of too much stress on the body. the constant is that transforming in quick succession eventually kill you, tho
in all honesty, the question is "what constitute a Kamen rider". the answers is "it depends", and the variaton to DarkRider is "it depends, but they are either evil for the sake of it or allied with the bad guys"
Also no need to get mad at this guy. It's a very common thing that the bad guys always have stronger power than the good guys, take Thanos as examples.
Lol I know. The bad guys are always OP so when the good guy wins its that much better for the audience.
I think you should react to all Super Sentai Openings next. If the video is too long, you can split it into parts.

"Did they get vented?" No. That's an American children's thing. They freaking dead dead. The guy that got tossed in a black hole? Nah, he crushed to death. Heck, Kamen Rider Sigurd got executed by being crushed by a cliff in human form. Imperer? Stabbed to death. Kaixa? Neck snapped. Duke? Falls to his death after getting a punched so hard into a wall, he Kool Aid Manned it... as a human.

The whole “vented” thing is only for Ryuki which is just another way of saying they died or in Dragon Knight they get transported to a void that will keep the riders safe.
Ohhhhh okay. Ryuki is a version of Kamen Rider I have watched with my brother before its one of his favorites.
@@bookishnerdygirl Yeah, in Dragon Knight is more their version of the "Shadow Realm" from Yu-Gi-Oh! In Ryuki they basically die by vanishing into dust if their Contract Monster is destroyed or they take too much damage. Sometimes they vanish in other seasons but for the most part you see them die on screen. Can sometimes get really bloody >.>

the most murderous among them is rook, one of the 'checkmate 4' elite because they have symbols on their backhands similar to chess pieces. a fangire with lion DNA.
the monsters are called fangire. they use spectral fangs to feed on lifeforce.
Kiva series dark rider is called Saga, you'll find more info bout him online.
Why the people cheering for kamen rider orga is because in this world everyone is turned into monster also orga is not evil he is very much a victim in the tv series he betrayed and then death trying to help the protag defeat the main antagonist and in the movie he tricked to think the human betrayed him and all two of his friend die, in the end he die helping the protag once again

34:44 Barlckxs is based on Kamen Rider BLACK RX from 1988, and the final Rider of the Showa Era, thus making the end of his show airing early in the Heisei Era. BLACK RX had a lightsaber called Revolcane (because Star Wars was the huge hit of the 80s).
This movie, Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer, is about a huge tribute to the Heisei Era, so EVERY thing related to Heisei Era appears in a way or another in this movie. The villains are the Quartzers, a group of guys from the Showa Era who want to destroy Heisei Era because they say "it's a mess". The big 3 are Zamonas (from Kamen Rider Amazons, a Amazon Prime reboot of the Showa TV show Kamen Rider Amazon), Zonjis (from Shin, ZO and J, the Showa last movies trilogy, but they aired in the Heisei Era) and Barlckxs (from BLACK RX, the final Showa TV show that aired partly in the Heisei Era).
Other Riders that didn't reappear in the TV show are Kamen Rider Kuuga (manga version), Kamen Rider G (a TV Asahi anniversary Rider that appeared alongiside Decade), Kamen Sentai Gorider (a team of past Riders, like a Sentai), Kamen Rider Brain (Brain from Kamen Rider Drive who recently became a Kamen Rider) and Kamen Rider Zangetsu (a Rider from Gaim, but it's his version of the stageshow that was played at the time of the movie).
The movie is a different timeline than the Zi-O timeline, because Zi-O never becomes Ohma Zi-O like told he's going to become in 2068, but instead he gets his powers with the ZI-O Ohma Ridewatch. It's also the last chapter of the Heisei Era, though it's not the last movie of a Heisei series, but it's actually the first movie to air in the Reiwa Era. Speaking of this, Kamen Rider Zero-One, the first Reiwa Rider, makes a cameo in this movie.
